Making their way through the hole, Ellis and Ray were finally able to get outside the cave, but before they could catch their breath, they saw orcs coming out of the cave with their weapons and started chasing after them.

" Let's leave this place at once" said Ellis before running toward the forest where they came from.

" Can't they just let us be since we are already out of their cave complained Ray while running.

" What makes you think that they are going to let us off after coming in contact with human, it's like a dream come true for the Orc's" replied Ellis.

From behind, the Orcs were chasing after them while throwing huge stones at them. Avoid the stone and at the same time running for their lives was becoming very tasking for them until they finally ran into the forest which stand as a cover for them.

" These should slow them down a little" said Ellis while breathing heavily.

" Are you sure about that because I think they are going to run into the forest while destroying the trees just to get to us" replied Ray after coming to a halt and take a look at his behind to see if they are still chasing after them. The moment he said those word, they begin to hear the sound of a tree being destroyed.

" Why do you have to say does word" said Ellis in anger while running at the speed?

" Come on bro, even a kid would know that they will not stop chasing after us just because of some stupid trees" replied Ray.

While they were running, a tree was sent flying towards them, but they were able to avoid being hit by hit. Taking a turn to the side, Ray asked Ellis why don't they just turn around and battle it out with them at least if they were able to take two or three orcs down, they will be wary of them only for him to hear Ellis replied.

" You can go ahead and entertain them while I keep running".

" You see, this is one of the reasons why I hate going on a mission with you. Always running even when we have the chance of winning the fight" complain Ray while moving to the side to avoid a flying tree.

" Oh if you are tired if teaming up with me, you can easily tag along with others in the guild so why are you still going on mission with me" asked Ellis.

" That's because I am afraid you won't be able to go on any since no one will be willing to take you in their team due to your cowardly character" replied Ray

Ellis decided to keep quiet and focus on at running the orc. Meanwhile, the sky is already getting dark since the time they got into the forest. Ellis was busy running for his life and at the same time watching the sky with a plan already set in his brain.

" Hey listen up since you really want to fight the orcs so much there is an opportunity lay out for you" said Ellis with a smile on his face.

When Ray saw the smile Ellis had on his face, he became overjoy for he knew he had already come up with a plan.

" Let me hear it hahaha" said Ray while laughing as they continue to run.

" Do you remember those herbs we got back when we team up with the Raging Dawn squad to take down the bandit" asked Ellis still keeping the smile.

" Yes what about them" replied Ray with his own question.

" Once it is nighttime we are going to squeeze the liquid from then and rub in on ourselves to reduce the smell and since the Orcs are so arrogant and don't like hunting their prey in a pack, we are going to hunt them down one by one until there is none left in the forest" replied Ellis.

" Hahaha now that why I always like teaming up with you, always coming up with a plan no matter the situation" said Ray with a laugh while praising Ellis.

After running for some time, it became nighttime, and they begin to carry out the plan by extracting the liquids from the herbs and rub it all over their body like they are placing ornament on their body.

" Time to move out" said Ray in excitement after covering himself with the liquids extracted from the herbs.

" Remember you have to be careful not to be notice by them, by the way how do I smell" asked Ellis.

" You smell delicious man" replied Ray after sniffing Ellis.

" Haha, I hope it's enough to fool those orcs" said Ellis.

" Should be. So are we attacking them together or individually" asked Ray while pulling his blades from their scabbard.

" We need to make as quick as possible while making less noise, so we attack together" replied Ellis.

They head back towards the road that is leading back to the cave in search of any orc that is still chasing after them and about two minutes during their search, the were able to hear the sound of a heavy footstep ahead of them. They make their way towards where the sound was coming from only to see a lonely sniffing the air like a dog.

Ray chuckle lightly as they begin to go round to orc to attack it from his behind. Sneaking closer to the orc with his blade held out in preparation to deliver a deadly blow at the orc the moment he is in position.

Sniffing the air as it move forward the orc was able to put a smell of both plants and human, but the smell of the human is very feint making it difficult to make an accurate judgement, but the moment Ray was close enough and was just about to attack the Orc that was when it was able to pinpoint the location of the human, turning around in excitement the orc was just about to dash at where the smell was coming only to see a blade coming at it.

The orc was able to react on time drawing out it blade, it sends a powerful slash at the upcoming blade attack and knock it upward before looking at what attack it.

" Human, finally I will be able to sleep with joy after feeding on your flesh" said the orc with a wide smile on his face.

" In your dreams' orc" replied Ray while pulling his blade back and attack the orc again only for his attack to be deflected by the orc.

" In my dreams you say, hahaha this is like a dream come through said the orc as it charged at Ray and was just about to stab at Ray, but that's when Ellis appear in the air beside the Orc at an incredible speed and throw a fist at the orc head which burst instantly after coming in contact with the fist.

Ellis jump down and duct his hand before say.

" One orc down and more to go".

" It wasn't that difficult to kill after all" said Ray while walking towards the dead body of the orc.

" Oh really, then tell me why was it taking you so long to get rid of it"asked Ellis.

" That's because I was not prepared for the fight" replied Ray as he was busy looking for the orc core.

" Come on we need to get this done before it is dawn else we will be chased again and even the innocent to be involved in an unwanted fest" said Ellis while walking towards the orc and extract its core from the chest.

Seeing this, Ray was surprised for he had been searching for the core for some time now and was not able to find while Ellis who had been standing by the side easily took the core out.

" How did you know the core will be in there" asked Ray after the shocked.

" Easy, since the orcs and humans are alike It is possible for the core to be located in the location of the heart since it is the source of their life force" replied Ellis before keeping the core in the storage ring.

They move in to look for more orc and after searching for a while they came across another orc. Using the same tactics of Ray fighting the orc head on while Ellis sneak attack them and deliver the finishing blow, they were able to kill three more orcs within two hours.

" Its almost dawn, yet we have not been able to take out half of the Orc yet" said Ray while taking a basic health potion.

" It's not that easy tracking them down you know" replied Ellis while clapping Ray on his shoulder.
