" Wait a minute, you were actually trying to seal the portal" asked Gray who stood by josh.

" Of course, why would I drain myself of energy when I know there will be a fight soon if not to seal the portal" replied Ray in anger.

" And who told you that feeding the rune with your energy will be able to seal the portal" asked Roland seriously.

" I have my ways, so you don't need to worry about that" replied Ray as he glares at Roland.

" You see Ray, the reason why made a move on you was because he taught you are messing things up" said Gray.

" Were you all thinking the same as him" asked Ray while looking at the group.

" I don't know about the rest but as for me, I trust you Ray" replied Ellis with a smile on his face.

" Of course I knew you could not just do things without having a clue said Gray which Ray nodded to.

" I just don't want to see any member of the team fighting each other" said Roland straight away.

After hearing what the others have said, Ray turned to face josh as he said.

" And as for you, we may be members of the same squad but if you try to cross me again, then the others will have to pick your corpse".

After saying what he had to say to josh, Ray went back to the rune and continue the process but instead of continuing from where he stopped, he had to start all over again.

And it annoys him that he will be starting again. Turning to look back at josh, Ray endured the rage that was boiling inside him and turn back to focus on sealing the portal.

" System let seal the portal one last time" said Ray.

" Ah it was never like this when I tried it the first time, did something happen in the demon realm that is affecting the portal seriously"Ray said to himself as he continued the process.

" Hey do you think he will be able to seal the portal" asked Josh to Roland who stood next to him.

" I don't know and you better shut that mouth of yours if you don't want to have a go with him" replied Roland as he threw josh a farce look.

" Alright you don't have to be so moody over a matter like this, besides he is not even worthy enough to face me so why should I be scared of him" said josh.

" I didn't say that you are scared of him but if you really asked me I would say you are actually scared of the kid josh"replied Roland with a light chuckle.

Since Ray have been feeding his energy to the portal, it has taken almost an hour and there seen to be no progress meanwhile sweat was beginning to run down his face and seeing him like this, Ellis knew he is struggling to continue with feeding the portal.

" Hey are you alright" asked Ellis as he walked closed to him.

" Yeah am fine, I am just a bit out of energy that's all" replied Ray with a smile to assure him that the situation is still in his control.

" You know that you are not being forced to do this, so you can have a rest and recover your energy before continuing else you might fall into a deep sleep that will require months if not years for you to wake up from exhausting the whole energy inside you" said Ellis to Ray as a good friend.

" I know about that, but you see, when I stop feeding the portal with my energy due to josh interference and decided to continue with the sealing only for me to discover that I will have to start the sealing process from the start again and at the same time it is taking long and more energy to completely seal the portal" replied Ray.

" So you are saying that if you were to take a break now, then you will have to start from scratch again with the difficulty going higher" asked Ellis.

" I Believe it will go higher" replied Ray.

" Then how do you plan on feeding the portal without taking a break and I doubt you will be able to feed the portal to it's full of that little energy of yours" said Ellis.

" If it were to be someone else it would be difficult but for someone like me who has a whole bag full of potions that can restore spiritual energy to it's peak it a walk in a park" replied Ray with a smile.

" And how do you plan on feeding yourself with those potions when you are busy feeding the portal with your energy" asked Ellis with his hands place behind his back as he awaits Ray's answer.

" I have you here with me, so I don't have to worry about helping myself with the potion" replied Ray with a chuckle.

It suddenly dawns on Ellis that Ray has no Shame for him to allow another man feed him while he's busy feeding his energy to the portal, he suddenly said to avoid being the one to feed him the potion.

" Why don't I go get one of the hostage to help you with the potion while I continue to cultivate and regain my energy"?

" That won't be necessary since the portal will be done once I am done feeding it some of my energy and by the way, before you would have gone to get someone I may already be out of energy to feed the portal" replied Ray.

" But not going to take long for me to bring someone here" said Ellis trying to persuade Ray.

" Then there will be no time left" replied Ray while shaking his head.

" Come on man, can't you just hold up for some time let me go get someone that will be willing to help with the task while I meditate" said Ellis with a smile that mask the angry face inside him.

" It still won't do Ellis" replied Ray.

Ellis sigh in defeat before saying.

" So where are you keeping the potion".

" Just check the left side of my robe, you will see a little storage ring, that's where I kept them all"replied Ray.

' This is great, now I will have to check his robe for a storage bag. Can't this get any worst' Ellis complain in his mind.

" Hey have you seen it" asked Ray after not feeling any sign of someone touch his clothes.

" Am about to" replied Ellis who was brought back to reality.

Placing his hand on the robe as he begins to look for the storage bag. Meanwhile, when they group saw what was happening.

" How can they be playing at a time like this when the demon is not far from coming into our realm" replied josh who has a grudge against Ray.

" I don't think they are playing around, but instead Ellis is in search of the something that is kept in the robe" said Gray who seen to be watching Ray as he seals the portal.

Meanwhile, after searching for some time, Ellis was able to locate the storage bag. Making a little cut on Ray arm to get his blood to flow on the storage bag in order to access the content.

" Now which of potion should I feed you with" asked Ellis after opening the bag.

" Alright, you are to feed me the potion with the red marking. It is more effective than the basic potion" replied Ray to Ellis as he continues to feed the portal.

" You have to be fast, I am already at my limit" said Ray all of a suddenly.

Looking at the mini bottles in his hands, Ellis was already having conflict on whether he should feed him or not when he heard Ray warning. Opening the bottle, Ellis put it on Ray's mouth as he let the liquid flow inside.

" Urg, what an ugly sight I am seeing right now" said josh as he begins to laugh.

Ellis threw him a stare before turning to remove the empty bottle from Ray mouth.

" Is that enough for you to continue with the process" asked Ellis after removing the bottle from Ray's mouth.

" With just that I have recovered thirty percentage of my energy, but it still won't be enough to close the portal" replied Ray.

Ellis feed him with two intermediate Mana potion which stop him from complaining about being out of energy. Sitting on the ground cross leg, Ellis begin to meditate until Ray will call for more potion.

" What did he just feed him with" asked Roland in confusion?

" If am not mistaking, it had to be some kind of medicine that helps restore spiritual energy" replied Gray as he continues to keep watch.

" But there have never been any herbs being made in liquid form, so it has to be something else" said josh.
