" Since you have made up your mind to go see him, then I am coming with you," said Ray.
" Sorry Ray but I can't allow that since we don't know what is going to happen" replied Ellis in refusal.
" If things get ugly then we will have to face it together as friends," said Ray as he don't want to stand down and watch his friend go alone.
" There is no way you are going with me and besides this is family busy, and you are an outsider" replied Ellis.
" Oh now I am consider an outsider alright then, you can go by yourself since you don't need my help" said Ray as he turned around and left the guild in anger.
" Am sorry my friend, but it will be pointless for you to die in a fight that those not concern you" said Ellis to himself with a sigh as he watched Ray figure disappear from sight.
Meanwhile, after talking with Ellis, Jesper left the guild to the inn to deliver the news to straw bandit #2.
" So you finally meet up with my brother" asked straw bandit #2 trying to confirm what he just heard.
" Yes senior, and I was fortunate to meet him else he would have been out of the guild for a quest once more" replied Jesper.
" Good, you did well. So what did he sag about meeting up in the hut," asked straw bandit #2 with a smile on his face.
" He said he will be there tomorrow" replied Jesper.
" I really need to reward you for granting me the opportunity to see my brother once more," said straw bandit #2 as he flicked a purse filled with spirit stone to Jesper.
Catching the purse swiftly, Jesper open it to check the content inside, only for him to gape in surprise as an intense spiritual energy burst out of the purse. Sealing the purse, Jesper bow before straw bandit #2 to show gratitude.
" I know it's not much, but that is all I have on me right now," said straw bandit #2 as he gestured for Jesper to raise.
" Senior it is more than enough for this low cultivator" replied Jesper as he rose from his bow.
" If there is nothing more for you to report, then you can take your leave," said straw bandit #2.

Bowing once more, Jesper left the inn. Watching as Jesper walk out, straw bandit Chuckle before turning around as he made his way to the room. The moment he walks in, the leader and straw bandit #4 raise their head to look at him before going back to what they were doing.
" So what did that underlying of yours has to report this time around," asked the leader after straw bandit #2 took his seat.
" The young master is back," replied straw bandit #2.
When straw bandit #2 deliver the news, straw bandit #4 put on an evil smile as he said.
" Finally, the rat has finally decided to come out of his hiding".
" Yes finally, and he will be walking into his dismissal by tomorrow" replied straw bandit #2 as he begins to chuckle.
" At long last we will be able to avenge our brother's death, " said straw bandit #4 as he clenched his fist together.
" I can't wait to skin him alive with my bare hands when I see him tomorrow" commented straw bandit #2
" I hope you won't let your anger get the best of you," said the leader of the straw bandit.
" Don't you worry chief, there is no way we are going to mess things up this time since his maid won't be around to help him escape," replied straw bandit #2 with a smile.
" Good now we need to move out and wait for him to come to us" said the leader of the straw bandit as he got up and make his way out of the room.
After Ray left the guild, he went back home as he kicked the door open before walking.
" After all that we have been through, I can't believe he would actually call me an outsider," said Ray as he punched the wall by his side.
Still burning in rage, all he could do to calm his mood was to drink and was exactly what he did Before he finally calm down. Chuckling to himself, he mutter to himself.
" Since you don't want me to go together with you, then I will just have to go on my own".
The next day very early in the morning the door to Ellis room was open with Ellis walking out quietly as he tries not to wake Ray from his sleep. Waking to the entrance, Ellis stop as he turned to give one last look before finally walk out of the room and the moment he did, Ray suddenly opened his eyes as a wide smile could be seen on his face.

Walking all the way to the hut didn't take Ellis much time as he got there before the sun could set only for him to see Ray sitting on a branch of a tree.
" What are you doing here," asked Ellis with a frown on his face.
" Oh you have finally arrived, I thought maybe you change your mind and turn tail" replied Ray as he jumped down from the tree.
" I just asked you a question, what are you doing here," said Ellis with an angry look on his face.
" I am here to help a friend of course" replied Ray seriously.
" I have already told you that you have no business being in here," said Ellis as he stood while looking at Ray.
" Look you can try all you want, but I am not going to leave you to face your brother all by yourself" said Ray.
" And you think coming along will make a difference," asked Ellis.
" Well at least we'll have a better chance of leaving this place in one piece," replied Ray.
" Do you think he is one of those foundation realm expert we fought previously, going together with me spell the end for you" said Ellis as he yelled at Ray.
" So you knew you are going to end up dead, and you still choose to come," asked Ray.
" It only a matter of time before he will come for me and if he does, innocent people are going to get involved which I don't want" replied Ellis as he looks at the ground while avoiding Ray's gaze.
" Anyway there is no way I am going to let my friend ends his life here" said Ray as he folds his hands on his chest.
" I can see you have already made up your mind and no matter what I say will not be able to make you change your mind" asked Ellis.
" You got that right, so let's go and meet this brother of yours already," replied Ray.
They were just about to go into the hut when they heard the sound of something stepping on a branch. Coming to a halt, they both turn around at the same time to look at the surrounding.
" Did you hear that sound," asked Ray as scan his surrounding.
" Yeah and it looks like we are not the only one here" replied Ellis.
Just as he finished saying those words, a figure flew pass them once more at an incredible speed, turning around only for them to see nothing.
" Hahaha, finally we have you right where we want you" said a voice from the surrounding, and they turn around towards where the sound come from but were still not able to see who it was.
" That voice kind of sound familiar" said Ray as he removed his blade from the scabbard.
" Haha and who would have thought that the unlucky kid will still be standing with him" said another voice.
" They are the straw bandit, how were they able to find us, " said Ray in shock.
" Looks like we have been trick " replied Ellis with a frown.
" That Jesper, hope he prays that we don't get out of here because we do I will be coming for his head" said Ray as he gritted his teeth in anger.
" I am afraid that won't be possible since you won't be leaving this place" replied the leader of the straw bandit as he jumps out of a tree nearby and after his other two men also jump down.
Seeing the three members of the straw bandit in front of them, Ray tighten his grip on the blade as his aura began to surge.
" Nice to meet you again young clan master and by the look of things your maids won't be here to save you again" said the leader of the straw bandit with a smile on his face.
" Members of the straw bandit, I guess you never get tired of chasing me," replied Ellis with a frown.
" How can we give up the chase when we have already collected the reward that our client give us just to take your life" said the leader of the straw bandit as he laughed.

Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him.
