Heavenly Monarch Chapter 136

After the party night, everything returns to the way it used to be as everyone went back to their various business. Meanwhile, in Ellis courtyard, the three sat on a chair with a bored expression on their face.
" Ah, I miss the days we had in the hunters guild unlike this place where everyone is so damn serious with what they are doing," said Ray with a sigh.
" You can say that again, if it were to be in the guild, by now is either I am attending to the wounded or am sitting in my office while watching you all watching to the quest board to pick a quest" replied jenny.
" There is no more taking risks and just sitting down lazily"added Ellis.
" I wish I can just go back to the guild," said jenny after a long time
" No one forced you to come along with us anyways" replied Ray as he turns to look at jenny.
" My coming here has not a thing to do with you okay" replied jenny as she scoffed at Ray.
" If that so then quit complaining already," said Ray.
" That's enough guys since we have nothing else to do why don't we go to the market to take a look around and see if there is anything we can get our hands-on," said Ellis as he got up from his chair.
" I have already found something to do though" replied Ray
" And what could that be" asked Ellis confusing since all Ray has been doing was sitting there lazily while arguing with jenny.
" What else if not to argue with jenny and before you know it, it is already getting dark" replied Ray with a smile.
Hearing what Ray said, Ellis sigh as he said.
" That's not interesting enough complain to going to the market to take a look at what they have on sale, we might even come across a treasure if we are lucky enough"
" Oh well since it has to be a treasure then I am in" replied Ray as he got up from the chair.
Seeing that Ray has already agreed to come along, Ellis became excited and was just about to walk out but he noticed that jenny is not coming with them.
" Ain't you going to the market with us," asked As he turns to jenny

" No, I think I will wait for you guys here besides there is something that I want to try out so I won't be coming" replied jenny with a smile on her face.
" Since she doesn't want to come along with us then let's be on our way," said Ray as he pulls Ellis by the hand and walks out of the courtyard.
The moment they step out of the courtyard the two of them went straight to the market where they begin to go from stack to stack in search of something good but were not able to find anything that could catch their interest.
" Looks like I just wasted my precious time coming here," said Ray with a sigh.
" We can't give up hope just yet" replied Ellis.
" What makes you think that we will find something here," asked Ray seeing the way Ellis was acting.
" That's because I heard from josh that a certain item will be brought here by one of the workers to sell off" replied Ellis.
" And what could that be" asked Ray whose interested was already on the item mentioned.
" I don't know, he only said that it was a locked chest that its body has worn out due to the passage of time but they did not know what was kept inside which is why they are selling it out" replied Ellis.
" Okay since it has come to this, I say we should search the whole market for it, I have this feeling that it is a treasure chest," said Ray as dash from one place to another.
After searching for long with no hope of finding anything good, Ray gave up on the search and decided to go back to the courtyard but as they were about to leave a new stack was open and the seller begins to announce his product.
Rushing back to search the goods, Ellis picks up an old chest from the stack as he begins to scan it.
" This must be the chest that Josh was talking about," said Ellis after examining the chest.
" Give me that let me take a look," said Ray as he took the cheat from Ellis in order to inspect it but the moment his hand came in contact with the chest, Ray suddenly received a notification from the system.

[ Congratulations on discovery silver chest]
" It is actually a treasure chest and by the look of it something great is hidden inside just like it is in a video game," said Ray in excitement.
" What are you talking about," asked Ellis when he heard Ray saying words he doesn't understand.
" No need bothering about it since you won't understand a thing I will say but all I can is that it is a good thing" replied Ray with a smile on his face.
" Whatever is not like I am interested in knowing what you have to say anyway," said Ellis as he turns to look at the seller and asked.
" We will be taking this chest so how much are you selling it".
" Dear sir, that chest is a treasure and it will cost you a six hundred spirit stone" replied the seller with a smile on his face.
Hearing the price that was being mentioned by the seller, Ray frown as he put the chest down and yelled at the seller.
" You got the nerves to be selling something Ike, if I may ask what is being kept inside of the chest," asked Ray angrily as he swings the chest up and down.
" Huh what are you talking about, if you don't want to pay then leave instead of you trying to find trouble for me" replied the seller a little shocked before talking back at Ray.
" Now you are trying to chase me away since you have been caught, but let me tell you what you don't know I am not going anywhere until you tell me what it is," said Ray as he brought the chest forward to the seller.
" Hey will you stop what you are doing and put the item down if you are not interested in buying" replied the seller angrily.
" I am willing to buy the item but you are making things quite difficult for me. You see before you brought the item here, I have already received information that you found something that turns out to be useless since it can't be open and here you are charging us more than we expected" said Ellis as he steps forward to stop Ray from acting rash.
" So what if you knew it was useless, as long as I am in possession of the box I will decide the price" replied the seller arrogantly.
" Sigh it seem to me that you are a new employee in the warberry cave so you might not know who I am," said Ellis.
Ray put on a smile on his face when he heard Ellis say the word.
" Who told him to act arrogantly before us, now we are going to take the chest without paying a den," thought Ray.
" I don't care to know who the hell you are sir" replied the seller.
" Oh really, then I guess I will have to tell josh to kick you out of the cave for disrespecting the one who saves them all from the attack of the gnurx," said Ray with a cunning smile on his face.
" Wait you are young master Ellis," asked the seller when he heard the words Ray just said and his legs begin to shake in fright.
" Yes I am" replied Ellis with a stern face.
Kneeling on one knee, the seller bow as he said.
" Forgive me, young master, for acting rudely in front of you, if you don't mind I will like to offer the box to you as an act of appreciation for saving my friends from the gnurx attack" replied the seller.
" It's alright young man, you can get up now besides I never plan to do something like this but you just have to force my hand," said Ellis as he took the cheat from Ray.
" Your servant was acting rude so it is natural that young master put him in his place" replied the seller as he got up from his bow.
" Come on Ellis let's get going," said Ray.
Tossing fifty spirit stones to the seller as he turns around and walks out of the market as they went to the courtyard with a happy expression on their face.
" I can't believe you will use your title to get the chest," said Ray with a smile on his face as they continue on their way.
" My hand was force and with no other choice, I could only use my identity to get it" replied Ellis with a smile on his.
