Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer Chapter 78

"I appreciate your concern but I would advise you to worry about yourself instead of worrying about me. I can assure you that it is gonna hurt badly when I through with you," Jasmine said an evil grin appearing on her face as she stares at Jackson sacred region.
"Here I come, Ice Prince," Jasmine said as she rested her two hands on each of his legs. The moment she braces herself to execute her evil plans she heard a dry cough coming from the direction of the door. Raising her head to see who dares to disrupt her, she was surprised to see that the intruder was none other than her best friend Catherine.
What the f*ck! Why did she have to arrive at this time? She should have come about five minutes later after I am done trampling with this guy's ego. I was so sure of winning but Cat ruined everything.
Jasmine cursed with gritted teeth. Every other person in the room except Jasmine was happy to see Catherine. Their broad smile showed how they truly felt.
"Jasmine, what are you doing? Did I perhaps disrupt something important?" Catherine asked staring at the squatting Jasmine. Although her words sounded harmless Jasmine could still feel the threat in those harmless words of hers.
"I am doing nothing and you did not disrupt anything important...,"
"If that is the case then why are you squatting in front of him?" Catherine asked curiously as she walked towards them.
Jasmine quickly thought of what lies to tell Catherine. She knew that Catherine will get mad at her if she knows what she was actually up to and she dreaded infuriating Catherine.
"One the ear of my earring went missing so I squat to search for it. Isn't that so guys?" Jasmine asked as she took turns in staring at their faces. The threat in her eyes did not escape their notice.

"Yes, you are right," the three guys chorused to the surprised of Catherine who had thought that they would snitch on her.
Actually seeing Jasmine in that position was so obvious of what she was up to. She only asked questions so the guys won't think that her actions were already planned. And the two long earrings hanging on Jasmine's ears were evidence that she was lying, so how could she not guess what silly things her friends would have done to Jackson if she did not arrive on time to stop her.
"Really?" Catherine asked throwing Jasmine a suspicious glance.
"Yeah, I am saying the truth so stop doubting me already," Jasmine said as she stood up and went to meet Catherine. Everywhere went quiet after this.
"So what about the dinner outing? Are we still going out?" Catherine broke off the silence.
"Of course we are still going out. I was waiting for Ice Prince to wake up and now that he has woken up, we will be leaving for the restaurant in a few minutes," Jasmine said leaving the guys with no option but to accept her offer.
Jasmine turned and shot the guys a piercing glance when they did not attempt to leave.
"What are you guys still waiting for? Don't you wanna change your clothes?" Jasmine asked sternly.
"We will be back?" Steve said as he and Jeff left the room. Jackson also went into his bedroom leaving the two of them in the sitting room.
While the guys were getting prepared Jasmine and Catherine patiently waited for them in the sitting room.
"What took you so long earlier Cat? Did you encounter some problems after I left?" Jasmine asked curiously.
"I was about to follow you immediately after you left but unfortunately I received a phone call from your mum...,"

"Mum called you, why?" Jasmine asked anxiously.
"She went to your mansion to meet you only to be informed by your employees that you travelled out of the country. She was so furious that you left the country without informing her. I had a hard time making her understand that you had no choice but to leave since the business trip was very important," Catherine relayed with a displeased expression.
"I knew I could always count on my Cat at any time. You are the world's most efficient executive assistant. If it hadn't been you who became my assistant back then, I can't recall the number of assistants I would have fired since the establishment of our company," Jasmine praised.
"I know I am very capable but I won't be able to keep covering up for you if this goes on....,"
"We only have five days left to get the contract back, I promise to behave properly after I get back our contract so stop worrying ok and you can trust me to protect you from mum and father if they strike," Jasmine said pridefully.
"Let's wait and see whether you will keep your promise," Catherine said seriously. Catherine and Jasmine waited for the guys to dress up and come join them. The three guys joined the ladies fifteen minutes later. They all set out for the dinner date afterwards. With Catherine sitting at the same table with them Jasmine could not take action against Jackson.
Jackson who was so scared earlier that he will have to endure another torturous night was so relieved when Jasmine did not tease him from the beginning to the end of their dinner.
"Now that we are done and ready to leave, Jack let's go pay the bills," Steve said as he made to stand up but Jasmine's words made him sit back down on his seat.
"Didn't I tell you guys earlier that dinner was on me?" Jasmine asked in a serious tone.
"You were serious about that? We thought you were joking," Jeff replied carefreely.
"Of course I meant what I said...,"
"Days ago you couldn't afford to book a cab and now you want to pay a bill that is worth over a million dollars? Were you perhaps pretending to be poor?" Jackson asked to the astonishment of Jasmine who had forgotten about the incident.
