"Wow! I can't believe that you both were very prepared for this. You even booked a movie ticket before you asked me out. Were you both not scared that I will decline your offer?" Jasmine asked curiously when Jeff brought out three movie tickets from his trouser's pocket.
"With JK around we knew that you would definitely come. You love him and you would do anything to gain his love, we know you won't be able to resist our offer if he was gonna join us," Jeff said smiling.
"That means you both took advantage of my feelings for him. I am very hurt to hear this," Jasmine said faking a painful expression.
"You have made our business trip super fun, we just wanted to repay you by letting you have fun as much as we are doing but sorry we ended up hurting you," Steve apologized meekly.
They sure have honeycomb mouths. I guess this is one of the reasons Jasmine like them. She hasn't been so patient with any man like he is with them.
Catherine thought staring at the two guys whose attention was focused on Jasmine.
"There is no need for that serious expression. I was just kidding," Jasmine said as she held onto Jackson's right hand.
"Let's go buy popcorn," Jasmine said as she pulled him along with her. The others followed them. After buying the popcorn the five of them entered the theatre. Jasmine was too preoccupied talking to Jackson to realise that the two naughty guys had booked tickets for a horror movie. Jasmine and Jackson sat down in the same row while the others sat at their back. The one-hour movie started normally like every other movie she has watched. Jasmine was having fun watching the movie until the horror scenes began.

Jasmine who hated anything horror movie held Jackson's hand. Her grip around his hand tightened every passing minute. Jackson was surprised to see the usual bold Jasmine act so timid.
"You should have told me earlier if you didn't like horror movies. I would have asked them to buy a ticket for the type of movie you love. You didn't need to force yourself to watch it just because you wanted to be with me," Jackson said in low tones that only she could hear.
"I never knew the movie we wanted to watch was a horror movie. Nothing in this world would have made me followed you in here if I had known," Jasmine flinched as she tilted her head sideways when someone's head was being cut off.
"You can close your eyes if you can't stand the sight of horror movies. I promise I won't laugh at you for acting opposite of your tough self today," Jackson said seriously.
"You are concern about me, it's such a rare sight to see," Jasmine said as she turned to look at the screen thinking that the horror part was over. It was just at the time that she turned around that the camera zoomed in on the face of the ugly zombie who had intestines of the person he just killed stuff in his mouth. Because of how sudden the camera zoomed into the zombie's face Jasmine screamed as she embraced Jackson tightly. People who were also watching the movie turned to look in the direction the terrified scream came from, they all turned and face the screen when they saw how tightly the terrified Jasmine was hugging Jackson.
Jasmine refused to let go of Jackson even though five minutes had passed. Seeing how people were giving them weird stares Jackson gently tapped her by the back.

"You can let go of me now, the scene is over," Jackson said meekly.
"I don't want to," Jasmine said firmly as she snuggled more into his embrace.
"Why? Because you can't afford to stop hugging me after...,"
"You are back to your mean self," Jasmine said as she pulled away. Seeing her suddenly throwing tantrums when he didn't say anything wrong, Jackson turned and stare at her. He chuckled when his eyes landed on her pouting lips.
"Let's go out because you won't be able to handle the next scene. You might end up jumping on the body of those in the front row if you stubbornly want to stay. You always take advantage of me without me rebuking you but other guys won't be as patient with you so let's go," Jackson said as he offered her his hand.
"You scold me one minute and then draw me closer another minute, why do you have the knack of confusing me?" Jasmine asked not taking his hand.
"I will take your reply as you wanting to stay here. Just a piece of advice don't come running to me if you really can't handle the next scene because I will surely push you off my body since you refused to accept my goodwill," Jackson said sternly as he turned to face the screen.
"Let's go," Jasmine said as she hit him gently by the hand. Jackson who knew that she will choose to leave with him pretended as though he was angry but he couldn't resist saying no to her on her third request. The two both went out leaving Catherine in the care of the two guys. Catherine turned and shot Jeff a murderous glance when she saw Jasmine left the hall with Jackson.
"Why the heck did you both have to pick a horror movie out of the fun and interesting movie they have? Did you both want to make my best friend die from a heart attack?" Catherine scolded them sternly.
"The movie wasn't to make us have fun but to get Jasmine closer to JK and it worked so our aim is achieved," Jeff replied without thinking.
"What do you mean? Doesn't Jackson hate Jasmine or don't tell me he is pretending to hate her just to gain her attention? Did he put you to this because he was scared that Jasmine wasn't close to him enough?" Catherine questioned as she threw them suspicious glances. Jeff felt like hitting his head against the floor when he realised what he had just said.
