While Jasmine was preparing Catherine too was also preparing. The guys who had already got ready and gathered at Jeff's mansion all waited for the agreed time to reach.

A few minutes to the agreed time, the guys all left. Jeff rode with Steve while Jackson went to the club in his car.

When they reached the club they all placed orders so that when the ladies arrive they won't have to worry about it.

Ten minutes later the ladies did not still arrive but despite this, they did not panic since Jasmine gave them her words.

"JK, you and Jasmine have been very close these past days. She comes to your home every day not only to cook for you but to also educate you on how to court a lady. You have gotten the chance to show her different shades of you so I am surprised that she hasn't noticed the deep feelings you have for her," Jeff said in a worried tone.

"You are right about that. Half of the six months duration for the contract is gone already but there has not been any improvement or whatsoever in your relationship with her, I wonder if there is something you are doing wrong that is why she hasn't noticed that you like her," Steve added in a voice filled with so much concerned.

"It is not that I am doing anything wrong or that I haven't showcased my love for her properly. The problem lies with her and not with me. She has long shut her heart to love that is why she believes whatever she wants to believe. She doesn't give a damn about love," Jackson replied firmly.

"Jack, what are you gonna do about this her marriage. I mean she was able to have the wedding postpone for two months now but she is not gonna get so lucky each time. Her old man is gonna strike soon so do you have any plans on how to prevent her marriage to Kai?" Steve asked anxiously.

The moment Jackson wanted to reply, he saw a lady's long seductive legs just standing beside the couch Jeff and Steve were sitting.

Jackson announced without even seeing her face. He let his eyes trailed from her white sparkling heels to her exposed long legs and thighs. His eyes then moved upward, he smiled when his eyes met her exposed navel which was as a result of the cut in the naval region.

"Why are you glaring at me like that?" Jasmine did not allow him to finish assessing her. She put an end to his fantasy.

"You look spectacular tonight so why would he not stare at you? Every man with functioning eyes would not be able to resist staring at a true beauty like you so there is no need to ask him such a question," Jeff said smiling brightly at her. Even Steve could not resist taking a proper look at the gorgeous looking lady.

"I am not upset that he is staring at me since that is his hobby whenever he sees me but I am a bit angry that despite always staring at me, he has never complimented me unlike how you both normally do. Even that cold future husband of mine occasionally compliments me so why is his case different?" Jasmine whose gaze was on Jackson asked with the expression that says, 'I want a reply don't keep quiet on me like you usually do.'

The two naughty guys turned and face Jackson.

"JK, what are you waiting for, give a reply. Tell her why you always remain silent even though you always find her remarkable," Jeff made the situation worse with his words. Jackson glare daggers at him when he heard Jeff's words.

"Aren't you gonna sit or do you want to remain on your feet the entire night?" Jackson who did not know what reply to give to her tried to evade her question but his trick will not work on the smart Jasmine who is the queen of evading questions.

Seeing that Jackson want to evade her question she quickly sat beside him as she had always done.

"I am sitting so there is no excuse now for you to use, go on and tell me the answer that I want to hear," Jasmine sitting beside him said firmly.

"You are always complimented and admired by so many people I didn't think not commenting was a big issue...,"

"Of course it is," Jasmine blurted out without thinking. The way she acted puzzled the three guys.

"Why is my compliment important?" Jackson asked curiously.

Damn it! Why on earth did I react that way? What do I say now?

Jasmine thought not knowing what to say to her defence.

"Didn't you say whatever you did and said during that period was all to get the contract back....,"

"And what if I lied back then?" Jasmine questioned as she stared into his eyeballs.

"Despite that, they are fighting I can't help but find it cute and beautiful? How are they able to pull these beautiful vibes off without even realizing it?" Jeff asked as he stares at them in admiration.

"Because they complement each other perfectly. Everything about them makes all the single people jealous even though there themselves are not a couple. I can't wait for the time they become a couple," Steve said as he smiled at them.

"You are beautiful. There is no time I see you that you don't look gorgeous," Jackson said his eyes focused on her eyeballs.

"Are you happy now," Jackson asked when he saw her face glow after he has finished complimenting her? Seeing her smile so radiantly made his heart lights up in delight.

"I love it and I am very happy. Hearing you compliment me feels like an accomplishment. Do you always feed her ears with such pleasant words?" Jasmine asked as she draws closer to him.
