"I will get so very mad at you if you repeat that these deep cuts on your palms are just scratches," Jasmine threatened firmly before she leads the way to Jackson's car.

Everyone just stares at her in awe. They find it hard to believe that the Jasmine they all knew could be so caring.

"What are you guys standing there staring at?" Jasmine who has covered a huge distance only to realize that they were not following her shouted.

"Kai, I will have to bother you with handling those scums. It doesn't matter if you kill them for daring to want to harm me," Jasmine said when everyone had reached where the two of them were standing.

"If that will make you happy," Kai who did not want to leave her said reluctantly. Before he walked away he turned and glared daggers at Jackson.

"Jeff, where the heck do you think you are going? Who is gonna take care of my Cat if you come with us...,"

"Jasmine, I can manage just fine. You don't have to worry about me," Catherine interrupted her before she could complete her words.

"My mind won't be at ease if I just leave you like that so let him take you home in my car. I will call you after Ice Prince Injuries are attended to," Jasmine said before she turned and help Jackson who was struggling to open the car. She shifted her gaze to them afterwards.

"Jeff, take perfect care of her. If she dares as to sustain a scratch, I will hold responsible for it," Jasmine said, her tone carrying a hint of threat in it.

"I won't let any harm come to her, " Jeff assured before he and his partner walked to Jasmine's car which was parked close to Jackson's car.

After she had seen them enter the car, Jasmine turned to enter the car but she was surprised to see that someone else has taken her place. She stares at the young lady wrapping her hand around Jackson's arm with a questioning gaze.

"My driver left following my orders after I arrived in the club. I tried reaching him earlier but I couldn't. You know how dangerous it is for a woman to be left alone in front of a club. She might be subjected to rape or all manner of brutality, you are a lady so I am sure you wouldn't want that to happen to your fellow woman right?" Carmella said with no sense of guilt.

"As if I care about whatever happens to you," Jasmine voiced out her feelings to the hearing of the three people in the car. She afterwards enters the car and sat beside Steve who was the one to drive them. Steve zoomed off after she put on the seatbelt.

Jasmine who was worried about Jackson steals secret glances at him occasionally to make sure that he was ok.

Halfway through their journey, Jackson spoke up.

"Steve, I don't want to go to the hospital. Mum will panic if she learns that I was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night so take me to the mansion," Jackson broke off the long silence.

"A man who would rather put himself in danger rather than make his mother worried is a man who deserves all the respect in the world. As a future mother, I am not ashamed to say that I am proud of you," Carmella said with a tone filled with so much admiration. She used that opportunity to place her hand on his chest. Because of her words Jasmine who had wanted to scold Jackson had to pause. From the way Carmella acted it was obvious, she wanted to piss off Jasmine.

"But Jasmine had said I should take you to the hospital so what should I do now?" Steve who was confused on whom to obey asked in a worried tone. The last person he would want to upset is Jasmine who seems to be suppressing her anger. With him sitting beside her, he will be at her mercy if he dares makes her more upset than she already is and he did not want this.

"He is the one who is injured, so it is his orders you should follow and not her..., "

"Hey, if you know what is good for you then keep your mouth shut? I will make you regret your existence if you dare make me angry. Even he knows that he will not be able to save you from my clutches so behave if you want to get to your destination in one piece," Jasmine threatened fiercely before she turns to face Steve.

"Steve, he is losing a lot of blood and his mansion is still far away so how about you drop us at your mansion since it is close by? As you know we need to treat his wound early," Jasmine suggested.

"That is a fantastic idea. I will do just that," Steve said before he quickly made a detour. Despite how beautiful the night scenery was, none of them was in the mood to indulge in its beauty.

"How do you tolerate a woman like her? She is so bossy, what an annoying lady she is," the angry Carmella blurted out in a low tone without caring to filter her words. Jackson shot her a murderous glare the moment she finished badmouthing his woman.

"Did you just ask, how do I tolerate her? Do you want to hear the truth?" Jackson asked as he brought his mouth closer to her ear. What Jackson did not know was that Jasmine was watching through the rear mirror.

"The truth is you are the one I am tolerating so if you know what is good for you. You will seat down here and keep quiet because I won't hesitate to throw you out of the car if you dare try to get on her nerves just one more time," Jackson threatened sternly before he pulled away from her.
