After traveling in the ship for a few days Julian was bored, luckily he had Daisy with him and things were normal, his relationship with Daisy has grown a lot and he was quite happy about it, same could be said for Daisy, she was getting much more attention from him as well.

As another few days passed by they finally reached Sootopolis city, when they saw the huge outer walls of the city they were surprised, these walls were formed when the meteorite crashed 3000 years ago. ​​

If they thought Mossdeep city was big, it was no way near how big Sootopolis city actually is, it is one of the main cities of Hoenn region and many people live here around 20 million people to be exact, it is also the second largest city in Hoenn second only to Ever Grande city.

When the got off from the ship they saw a large number of people entering the city, Julian heard some of them talking and all of them were trying to find Mega Stones, as the news got recently announced Hoenn was only talking about two things the mysterious lightning pokemon and Mega Evolution.

People started to leave their house to go in search of these mega stones, they went to ancient tombs, relics and some of them were even successful, the most Mega Stone found was in Sootopolis city as it is also the city which has the meteorite under it.

Daisy "Looks like most of them are here to search for Mega Stones, I hope I find one as well"

Julian "But you don't have any pokemon"

Daisy "Who said I don't have any pokemon, they are just back in Kanto with grandpa"

Daisy said puffing her cheeks.

Julian "Haha, just joking I am sure you will find one for your pokemon, by the way, what pokemon do you have back in Kanto?"

Daisy "I have an Espeon, her name is Lily"

Daisy said with a smile, Julian was surprised by this, Espeon were not that common in Kanto, the most common eeveelution in Kanto are Flareon, Veporeon, and Jolteon as their respective evolution stones are common in Kanto compared to other evolution stone.

Julian "Great, I would like to meet her one day"

Daisy "Me too, I want to try all the grooming methods I learned and all kinds of stylish accessories on her"

For some reason, Julian felt pity for the Espeon he has never seen before but he didn't show it on his face.

Julian "Let's go in and look around the city"

Daisy "Ya, let's go in"

They rode into the city and found a hotel to stay for the day, Julian decided to train his pokemons before he challenged the gym and since Sootopolis city is so big he decided to look around while doing so.

For three days Julian trained while roaming around the city with Daisy, Daisy has finished the scarf she made for Sceptile as well, it was a neck scarf with sharp red patterns and a gold round hook which could easily be used to place a Mega Stone in it.

Julian liked it very much and same could be said for Sceptile as well, Julian had thought of making a metal bracelet for Sceptile if he finds a Mega Stone for him but seeing the scarf he decided not to as it looked fine.

While he was busy training, Juan the gym leader who is waiting patiently for him to arrive was getting frustrated, whenever he heard a challenger has come to challenge, he would get excited but soon it turns into disappointment as they were all random challengers.

Julian was finally done with all the training and with that Vibrava and Metang was close to evolution and they just needed stimulation for that.

Luckily it came to him when he was looking around the forest in the city's outskirts, the forest in Sootopolis city was man-made thousand years ago by the locals and it soon started to flourish on its own, making Sootopolis even more suitable place for pokemons to thrive.

As he was going around the forest with Absol by his side, he was bonding with Absol as he was the hardest to get along due to his lonely nature, but things were going on pretty well with Absol and his other pokemons.

Suddenly he saw a trainer coming opposite to him with a Zoroark next to him, Julian was surprised seeing this pokemon, Zoroark is rare pokemon and they could only be found in Unova, maybe some could be seen in Kalos but mostly in Unova.

Absol started at Zoroark and Zoroark did the same, the trainer of this Zoroark is wearing a red long vest and black pants with short black hair.

Absol could sense that Zoroark was on the same level as his and also controlled the same element so he wanted a battle, Julian noticed this and looked at the trainer in front of him.

The trainer also noticed his Zoroark staring at Absol as well.

Samual "Hello my name is Samual from Unova and this is my Partner Zoroark, how about we have a battle and looks like your Absol also wants a fight"

Julian "I am Julian and Absol here is my partner as well, Let's see what Absol finds so interesting about your partner"

Samual "Ho, aren't you confident, I like opponents who are confident as you, how about a Dual Battle then, what do you think?"

Julian "A Dual Battle huh?"

Julian looked at Absol to see if he agrees and Absol nodded, he just wanted a challenge and a double battle would surely give him one.

Julian "Ok then a double battle it is then, which will be your other Pokemon?"

Samual "Come out"

He tossed a Pokeball up in the air and soon a pokemon with two head came out, it is a Zweilous.

Julian 'An another dark type? He must be one of those Type geeks'

Julian "Then my Pokemon will be Metang"

Julian tossed out Metang's Pokeball as he entered the battlefield, he soon released a mini psychic wave as his body was bursting with concentrated psychic energy as his brains were starting to multiple because he was near evolution.

Samual "This is going to be fun"
