A/N - I was reading some comment and I came across one yesterday which said that Julian being a war veteran, he doesn't kill at all.

I am bringing up this because I think some of you should understand that being a war veteran doesn't mean he should kill, killing should be the last thing one should have in his or her mind.

A person who fights in war doesn't kill because he wants to but because he needs to so that he can protect his country from foreign invaders so that the people of his or her country is safe and can sleep peacefully knowing that someone is out there risking his life and protecting them.

You can go to any war veteran and ask do they enjoy killing or do they want to kill, the answer is always 'I would never wish to do that again'.

And if you have ever talked to one, you may have noticed they are the kindest and gentle person you will ever meet, yes they have a very strict aura around them but you will never meet someone who is as kind as them

I noticed that people have a misconception that an MC who might be related to war is a killer or any other and he will kill anyone who stands in his way.

I think it is all because people have read too many martial art novels and seeing the mc kill people just for simple or completely stupid reason has made them think killing is a common occurrence.

Killing has a consequence and Julian's knows what it is as he has killed in the past, every person he kills, there is someone out there who cares for that person, maybe he has a son, daughter, wife, father, mother, they will mourn for him.

Do you think you will be able to kill a person knowing what great sadness and remorse you will bring to his or her family, Julian knows this as he was in war he has seen families die due to starvation, children becoming orphans, wife becoming widows, mother and father going into shock.

Why do you think Julian doesn't want to kill, because he doesn't want to ruin one's family, even if that man or woman is bad, doesn't mean his or her families are, why do they have to suffer for his wrongdoing.

I request readers to view it through the MC's eyes, not from the outside, put yourself in his position and think will you be able to kill someone knowing that his whole family will suffer just because of your one single foolish decision.

Ok, I will stop my ranting now, this is a very sensitive topic and I really wanted to address it and tell my readers to not view killing as a common occurrence, killing has consequences that Julian knows.

Some of you who have read my other novel will think it is very hypocritical of me talking about killing should always be the last option when my other MC Jason kills anyone left and right with no concern. Jason is a completely different character, he is not noble as Julian, his story tells why he ended in the path of killing he is in.

Unlike Julian who had a family, someone he loved and the reason he killed is so he can protect the people he loves.
