Announcer "Ok now calm down everyone, let me first introduce you to our challenger, she name is Chloe, she is a real beauty and she wants to give her all in this battle, please welcome her"

Chloe entered the battlefield and as soon as she entered men started to whistle and shout in the excitement by seeing how beautiful she is. ​​

Julian 'I would skin all men in here'

Julian fumed in anger seeing this reaction from the crowd towards his girlfriend.

Daisy laughed seeing Julian's face.

Daisy "Don't worry darling, Chloe is only yours"

As the drum roles went on, Diantha walked in with her signature outfit, a white dress with fairy wings behind her.

Everybody in the crowd went wild as they see her walk in, she is not only a champion but also an actress making her the most famous Champion around the neighboring regions, she has more fans than any other champion in history.

Julian looked at the reaction and sighed, as he saw this he felt more that, his decision on quitting the champion position was a wise choice.

Diantha waved her hand at the audience and then looked at her challenger.

She is surprised to see how beautiful her challenger is, even though she has fought women these few days, she didn't see anyone so beautiful.

Diantha 'If she was in the film industry she would be really famous'

Diantha though and then smiled at Chloe.

Diantha "How about we introduce ourselves, even though we know each other's name it's still better to hear it from your opponent, let me go first"

Diantha took out her Pokeball and tossed it up in the air

Diantha "My name is Diantha, I am the champion from the Kalos region and this is my partner Gardevoir"

Diantha said as her Gardevoir appeared.

Chloe nodded and took a deep breath.

Chloe "My name is Chloe and I am from Hoenn, and"

She tossed her Pokeball up in the air and suddenly a huge Salamence appeared.

Chloe "And this is my partner and friend Salamence"

Diantha smiled seeing Chloe choose Salamence to battle against her Gardevoir.

Diantha "Very Bold of you to actually send out your Salamence"

Chloe "I and Salamence have been together since I was young. When it's a hard battle I trust Salamence to be by my side"

Diantha nodded, impressed by Chloe.

Diantha "I like your style, but that doesn't mean I will go easy on you"

Chloe "Salamence, let's show her how powerful we are together"

Salamence roared loudly causing everyone to feel a shiver down their spine.

Diantha 'What a powerful aura, her Salamence is clearly as strong as an elite four's pokemon'

Diantha became serious.

Diantha "Gardevoir let's do this"

Her Gardevoir nodded and released her aura as well.

The arena soon got covered by a protection layer which kept the audience safe from all the explosion.

Julian "This is going to be fun, give me some popcorn"

Daisy "No, I bought that one, you drink your juice"

Julian "Please"

Daisy "Ok, only a little though"

Julian "As you wish my queen"

Back at the battlefield, both pokemon stared at each other trying to measure their opponent.

Diantha "Gardevoir, use Confusion"

Chloe "Salamence, use Crunch"

Gardevoir started to send out a psychic wave at Salamence but suddenly a huge jaw made of dark energy appeared above Gardevoir and came shutting down towards her.

Diantha "Gardevoir abandon the attack and dodge"

Gardevoir canceled her Confusion and moved away escaping from the huge jaw that shut down and burst.

Diantha "Teleport and use Psyshock"

Diantha gave her command and Gardevoir did as follow, she disappeared into thin air and suddenly appeared behind Salamence.

Chloe "Iron Tail"

Chloe called out a move and Salamence's tail got covered with Steel energy and swung towards Gardevoir.

Gardevoir sent out the Psyshock towards Salamence and Salamence hit Gardevoir with Iron Tail.

Salamence received a burst of Psyshock and caused damage but the same could be said for Gardevoir as well, the weight and force behind Salamence were very much and on top of that, it was powered up by a steel type move.

Gardevoir was sent flying in the air due to its light weight while Salamence is still on the ground, Gardevoir was hurt but it used its psychic energy and brought herself back to the ground and stood straight.

Diantha was really impressed by Chloe, she never thought someone would be able to land an attack on her Gardevoir.

As much as she is surprised Julian also had the same reaction, he knew that Salamence was powerful but he was surprised to see how much in sync both Salamence and Chloe are, they both could easily take on a member of an elite four to the end.

Seeing this first few seconds Julian is able to roughly tell how good Chloe and Salamence are.

Daisy "Wow, Chloe is so strong, I never thought she can go head to head with the champion"

Julian "Yes she is indeed strong but she has to go a long way before she can defeat Diantha"

Daisy "Do you mean she is holding back?"

Julian "Of course she is, this is just an exhibition match for the promotion of her film, look at those posters"

Julian showed it to her.

Julian "It's a great publicity stunt, show them how strong she is, but if she went all out it might hurt her opponent's pokemon, it may bring a huge backlash against her telling how irresponsible she was in the battle and hurt an opponents pokemon"

Daisy "I see"

Julian "Well she is a champion, she should be responsible for every action she takes, and seeing that she accepts these responsibilities she is indeed a good champion"

Daisy "So you quit the champion position because you cannot take on those responsibilities?"

Julian "Indeed, well let's not talk about me and cheer for Chloe, who knows maybe she can pull off a miracle".
