Absol stands his ground and digs his claws into the ground and channels dark energy into his horn and extends it, as Donphan gets near Absol swings his horn and use Night Slash and attack Donphan.

The Clash causes the air to blow away, both the attacks get defused, Donphan rolls back and Absol is pushed back a little, leaving 5 cm claw marks on the ground.

Julian "Impressive, you Donphan is strong but you need more than that to take down my Absol"

Ash "I know and we aren't done yet, Donphan use Rollout again"

Julian "Absol, Dark Pulse"

As Donphan tried to get close and hit Absol, Absol launched his Dark Pulse and stopped Donphan, Absol normal form is a powerful physical attacker so his special attack is not as strong as his physical, so Donphan didn't receive much damage but it still stopped it.

Julian "Absol Quick Attack"

Absol suddenly charged towards Donphan with full speed.

Ash "Donphan, use Defense Curl"

Donphan rolled up and stayed still by using Defense Curl, as Absol got close to Donphan he didn't attack but started to move around Donphan, his speed kept increasing as he did so.

Ash realized that he has to interfere and not let Absol keep on increasing his speed.

Ash "Donphan, use Earthquake"

Donphan trumped and thrashed its two feet on the ground suddenly sending tremors on the ground causing it to crack up and clash with each other causing a huge power surge.

Julian "Absol, jump up and use Psycho Cut"

Absol did as Julian said and dodged the Power Surge and suddenly sent a crescent blade made of psychic energy towards Donphan.

Ash "Donphan, use Rapid Spin and deflect it"

Donphan started to spin super fast, as the Psycho Cut hit Donphan it got deflected by it.

Julian got surprised.

Julian 'I didn't expect Rapid Spin to be used like this, well since its Ash I should be expecting some stupid but effective things as well'

Julian "Absol destroy the ground below, use Stone Edge"

Julian had been teaching Absol how to use Stone Edge and he has finally learned it.

Absol landed on the ground and released a pulse underground, suddenly blue stone edges came out ripping through the ground and lifting up Donphan to the air, even though Donphan is resistant to Rock-type attacks Julian got it where he wanted.

Absol blasted a powerful Dark Pulse towards Donphan which is up in the air.

Ash "Donphan, use Defense Curl"

As Donphan is in the air it cannot use Rollout or Rapid Spin to deflect this so it has no choice but to use Defense Curl.

This is what Julian wanted, the Dark Pulse hit Donphan and sent it flying, it crash-landed on the ground but it was not over, Absol's Dark Pulse continued pushing Donphan, it rolled till it went outside the battlefield and crashed on to the wall behind Ash.

As Donphan came out of its rolled up position, everyone saw that it has fainted.

Referee "Donphan is unable to battle, Absol wins"

Julian "Ash you have to do better than that if you want to even make my pokemon sweat"

Ash gripped his hands and grinned.

Ash "It's not over I have prepared for this battle for such a long time, I am not going down so easily"

Julian "Let's see what you got"

Pikachu "Pika"

Pikachu wanted to go into battle but Ash stopped him.

Ash "You will get your chance but not now"

Ash then took out a Pokeball and threw it.

Ash sent out his Heracross.

Julian 'If I remember Heracross is from Ash's Johto team as well'

Julian "Absol return"

Julian had decided to use Six pokemon in today's battle as he wanted all of them to get a chance too bad one of them wouldn't get that chance, he then took out a Pokeball and tossed it up.

Julian "Flygon you are up"

Julian is using pokemon that doesn't have a direct advantage or disadvantage against Ash team as he really wanted to test him.

Julian "You should try harder or you won't have a chance at all"

Julian said.

Ash "We will see about that, Heracross use Hyper Beam"

Julian "Dragon Pulse".
