Julian is soon able to see the wild Gyaradoses storming around shooting Hydro Pumps and Hyper Beams everywhere.

Soon the Gyaradoses noticed the ship heading towards them, they roared and charged towards the ship. ​​

Julian "Gengar"

Julian called out Gengar, Gengar floated up in the air and is ready to blast all these Gyaradoses into oblivion, suddenly Crystal popped out its head and looked at the Gyarados charging towards them.

Julian "Crystal?"

Julian was surprised by seen Crystal charging into the gang of huge Gyaradoses, Crystal stopped right in front of then, Gengar is right behind it and is ready to make a move if the Gyaradoses attack.

The Gyaradoses got confused seeing this tiny pokemon in front of them.

As one of the Gyaradoses tried to make a move, Crystal purred, suddenly the Gyarados fell into a trance, not only one but all the Gyarados fell into a trance and they lost all their rage and anger and completely calmed down.

Julian got surprised, he didn't expect Crystal to calm down all the Gyarados with a single Pur.

Julian "Gengar take care of then, Crystal come back"

Crystal turned and went back towards Julian and circled him happily, he could tell that Crystal did this for him as it understands what Julian wants.

Gengar created a huge Shadow Ball and brought it down on the gang of Gyaradoses.

They got blasted away as the water rose high up in the sky and rain down, Crystal moved around Julian happily as it played around with the drizzling water.

The captain walked towards him with a huge smile on his face.

Captain "Thank you Sir Julian we should be able to reach Sinnoh in two days, if the weather is clearer we might arrive there even faster"

Julian nodded and walked back to his room, Gengar went into his shadow and disappeared from the captain's site.

Unknown to Julian something small was watching him from underwater, it was very curious about him and Crystal but it is too scared to approach Julian.

Julian's wait is finally over as he sees the port in front of him, the only port in Twinleaf town, as it is the closest town to Professor Rowan's lab he decided to disembark here.

The Captain came to personally say his goodbye and gave him lots of MooMoo milk, Julian took it as he needed to feed Crystal, it didn't eat any solid food till now so he only gave it MooMoo milk.

One thing he did notice though is that something is following them again, he knew it isn't Mew as he could easily tell if Mew is around him.

He didn't sense any ill will from it so he didn't do anything.

The ship arrived at the dock and Julian disembarked, he took out his bike and rode off into Twinleaf town, the next town is Sandgem town where Professor Rowan lives.

But first, he decided to visit Lake Verity, as the rumors say that the legendary pokemon Mesprit lives in it, it is also one of the lake guardians of Sinnoh region.

Julian "A pokemon created by Arceus, I wonder if I will be able to see it"

Julian said and twisted the accelerator on his bike's handle to speed up but he decided to slow down as he felt the thing following him is very near, he wanted to find out what it is so he slowed down.

From what he had seen so far he could tell it is a pokemon but which one he has no idea, it seems to be very good at hiding, he noticed that he couldn't trace this pokemon's position near water bodies, he is intrigued by this thing that is following him.

Crystal seems to be doing its own business as it played and bit down on Julian's coat and played with its hanging straps.

The more Julian sees Crystal the more he is reminded of a baby kitten.

They soon arrived at Lake Verity, it is a very big lake, the water is very clear, Crystal flew out of his pocket and goes into the lake happily to play in the water.

Julian just sighed and follows it, Gengar is also on the watch so that Crystal doesn't get into trouble.

Julian saw a Girafarig and its baby drinking water from the lake, suddenly Crystal popped right in front of the and startled them, they ran away.

Crystal mewed happily and circled the lake, Julian just shook his head he could stop this little trouble maker, he is too scared to make it cry by saying something to it.

Crystal looked down on the lake and dived down into it, Julian got startled and told Gengar to keep an eye on it.

Gengar nodded and followed behind Crystal into the water.

Crystal went deeper into the lake but didn't find anything but it could sense a presence apart from Gengar and other pokemon in this lake, a very mysterious presence.

Seeing that this thing didn't want to play Crystal got disappointed and head back to the surface, as it got back to the surface followed by Gengar it caught the attention of another pokemon that is currently hiding, Crystal rushed towards its hiding spot and scared it out of its hiding.

As Julian saw this hiding pokemon he got shocked.

Julian "So this little one was the one that was following us the whole time".
