Julian is surprised by seeing this pokemon, he doesn't know why it is following him but what he saw next startled him.

This pokemon is blue, its head is bigger than its body, there are yellow circles around its eyes, and two long antenna-like protrusion on top of its head.

It's a Manaphy, and it looks fairly young as well.

Julian closed in to stop the Manaphy from crying, he patted its head and made it calm down, Manaphy looked at Julian with its big round eyes which still had some tear dew at the end.

Julian "Little one are you lost?"

Manaphy shakes its head denying and latched onto his hand, Crystal seems to be intrigued by Manaphy's antenna and starts to touch and play with it, this cause Manaphy cry again.

Luckily Crystal joins Manaphy and snuggles with it and calms it down.

Julian 'System what can you tell me about this Manaphy?'

System 'This is a newborn one, only two days old'

Julian 'What? Only two days?'

System 'Yes'

Julian doesn't know what to do now, he has to take care of two baby pokemons now, he gave MooMoo milk to Crystal and Manaphy so they can clam down and let him think of something.

Julian released his other pokemon so they could enjoy their time in this beautiful lake

The two babies then started to get familiar with each other while Gengar and Infernape are on the watch, Snorlax is just Snorlax as he just finds a nice comfortable place and lies down, Absol and Tyranitar just stayed near the lake and cooled off.

Julian wanted to figure out why Manaphy followed him and the best way is to let Infernape handle it, soon Manaphy bonded with his other pokemons as well, Infernape finally figured out why Manaphy followed them, he told Julian about it as soon as he figured it out.

When Julian heard the reason behind Manaphy following him, he couldn't tell if he is really lucky or just a coincidence.

This Manaphy got stuck between those rampaging Gyarados and when Julian's Gengar blasted them of it started to follow them to be safe.

Julian sighed and walked towards Crystal and Manaphy who were going round and round around a tree.

Crystal went back to his favorite spot to stay and that is Julian's front pocket, while Manaphy just latched onto his hands as it felt comfortable around Julian, due to Manaphy's nature it bonded very easily with Julian's other pokemon as well.

Julian "So do you want to come with me?"

Manaphy happily nodded as it has already bonded very deeply with Crystal and Julian's other pokemon.

Julian took out a Pokeball and let Manaphy touch the button, Manaphy touched the button without thinking and it went into the Pokeball, Crystal looked at the Pokeball in astonishment.

Julian didn't put Crystal in a Pokeball as he saw Crystal enjoyed staying in his pocket.

The capture is successful and Julian released Manaphy outside so it can play more with others.

Seeing no sign of Mesprit appearing Julian decided to leave.

Julian "Ok guys its time to leave, he sent all his pokemons back to their Pokeball, only leaving Crystal and Gengar outside, Gengar went into his shadow and Crystal into his pocket, as he turned around to leave he felt something stare at him from the bottom of the lake.

He was not the only one, Crystal also sensed it and flew out of his pocket and flew towards the lake, suddenly a portal opened in the middle of the lake and Mesprit came out and looked at Crystal with astonishment in its eyes.

Julian looked at Mesprit and realized why it didn't come out before.

Julian 'It was scared to come out, having Gengar, Infernape, and Snorlax around, anything would get scared by their presence, Gengar is now in my shadow so it cannot sense him now.

Mesprit looked at Crystal before going round and round around it, Crystal seems to enjoy this and also joined in with Mesprit.

Julian just watched.

Mesprit soon turned transparent and disappeared right in front of Julian's eyes.

Julian 'What happened?'

As he questioned he heard a blast and then footsteps rushing towards him.

Crystal flew back to his pocket and looked at the direction the blast just happened.

Soon Julian can see who this person is, he saw a ten-year-old girl wearing a black top and pink skirt paired up with pink boots, she is also wearing a white cap.

What's more is that a Piplup is next to her, they seem to be running from something.

Julian 'Isn't she Dawn?'

Julian remembered who this girl is, she will be Ash's traveling partner in Sinnoh.

He then noticed there are now an awful lot of pokemons heading towards them.

Julian 'What did she do?'

Soon Julian saw what was following them, it was a bunch of Ariados.

He had no reason to interfere so he decided to watch it from the side and if things go wrong he will interfere, Julian knows that she has just started her journey so letting a new trainer face some hardship is always better than helping them and not let them experience what the outside world is.

The stage was set, Dawn and Piplup got surrounded by a bunch of Ariados, they blocked off her escape route with their web strings, she has nowhere to run.

Now she can only rely on herself and the pokemon by her side.
