A new day, a new journey, Julian is on the road on his way to Eterna City.

Like any other normal day in his life, he trains his pokemon, gives them food and back to the road. He is taking it slow and enjoying his time with his pokemons, traveling alone has its perks for him as he can do whatever he wants now without thinking about Daisy's and Chloe's comfort, he had not sent his nights in jungles and forest now that he could he realized how fun it is to travel alone. ​​

It didn't mean that he didn't enjoy his time with them, it was just that he would be constantly worried about them but now he doesn't have to, he can go along without any care and travel wherever he wants.

He soon arrived at a Jungle, he wants young pokemon to experience the wild as they have not gone through it before.

After reaching deep in the jungle he released all of them out of their pokeballs, as soon as the small ones came out they started to play around without any concerns while his older pokemon just watched and waited for Julian's command.

Julian "Infernape you take the older ones and can look around the forest, while I look after the younger ones"

Infernape nodded and his older pokemon walked away, Julian would do sometimes as they still need to figure out things when he is not with them and experience some freedom or they will have to always be stuck in their Pokeball.

Julian "Ok little ones, we are going to go around the forest and explore"

His four pokemons, Crystal, Manaphy, Gible, and Cranidos seemed confused as they didn't know what Julian said"

Julian wanted them to explore and familiarize with the wild and exposing them to it when they are still young is the right time to do so.

Julian "Ok let's go"

Julian then took them away, the only one left behind is Snorlax as he just sleeps where ever he is, no matter what kind of surface nothing can stop him from having a comfortable sleep.

He isn't worried about Snorlax, he will be worried about the pokemon or person who will try to disturb Snorlax.

Julian soon brought his four pokemon near a lake so they can explore, Cranidos doesn't seem to like water and tried to stay away from it but Gible pulled him underwater and messed with him.

Julian let them do whatever they want as he let them figure things out on their own, what they can eat, what they can touch, how to get out of trouble.

As Julian expected they got into a lot of trouble, sometimes they disturbed dangerous pokemons and sometimes they get trapped in veins of plants and trees.

They are small and curious, Julian does this will all his pokemon when they are still young to let them experience everything they cane before they grow up and miss this chance to have fun and learn at an extremely fast rate.

Just like human babies young pokemon tend to learn faster and Julian had noticed this many times when he took care of pokemon babies in Professor Oak's lab.

After they were done with everything and are finally tired he re-energized them and then went on with training.

This whole day was battle practice for them, he would go on a search for wild pokemons and let one of his four battle them without his guidance, this ensured that his pokemon can take care of themselves and don't need to rely on him when they are in a pinch.

Julian focused more on Cranidos as he is still the weakest of the bunch.

Currently Julian is looking at Crystal as it is battling a Stunky, Crystal had changed its typing to Electric to moved around Stunky and attacked with Thunder Shocks, it indeed got hit by few of Stunky's attacks but it kept on going due to it over the chart stats.

When Julian saw Crystal getting hit by that Thunder Shock from Pikachu and gained that electric type move, he thought Crystal just needs exposure to a move to learn it but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Crystal got hit by many moves but it didn't learn it.

As Crystal went for another Thunder Shock to finish it, Stunky used Acid Spray and sprayed Crystal with poison.

Crystal closed its eyes and rubbed it, suddenly the red crystal on its head glowed and absorbed all the acid into it, seeing this Julian realized that the red crystal in Crystal's head can absorb elements.

The side of the red crystal glowed purple and purple smoke seems to surround it.

Julian 'System, did Crystal gain poison typing?'

System 'Yes, Crystal's current typing are Electric and Poison, current moves are Thunder Shock and Venoshock'

Julian 'Venoshock? didn't it get attacked by an Acid Spray'

System 'Yes, but the moves learned doesn't have to be the same, the element Crystal is exposed to is poisonous and its experience with using Thunder Shock has made it easy to learn Venoshock as its execution method is same'

System explained how Crystal learns how to use moves.

Julian nodded.

Julian 'I see, so Crystal can absorb elements with its red crystal and learn a move which it feels suitable to execute'

Julian finally understood how to train Crystal, he didn't know what moves to teach Crystal and how to because of its uniqueness but now things are clear to him, he trained Crystal to increase its powers physically now he can train her in using her special powers as well.

Julian 'I will train Crystal on how to focus its energy and teach it how to execute it without losing much power'

What Julian noticed with new pokemon is that they do know how to use moves but they are not that powerful and not at its peak, they don't know how to use their own move properly and he has to spend time with them and teach them how to use it properly.

But with Crystal he thinks it can change, if he teaches Crystal how to use a move before it even learns it, the power behind them would be much greater.

Crystal suddenly went up and blasted a Venoshock at Stunky and then a Thunder Shock causing the Stunky to faint.

Julian 'This little one is full of surprise isn't it'

Julian smiled.
