Julian and Infernape soon found themselves in front of a big area, this seems to be where all the tunnels connect.

Taking this chance Shinx made an escape and took a new route and ran away.

Crystal got angrier and rubbed off the mud from its face, the crystal on its forehead suddenly absorbed the rest of the mud into it and Crystal chased after Shinx once again.

Julian and Infernape followed the once again.

After Crystal chasing down the Shinx for quite a while, they finally came to a stop, Julian looked around and noticed that this area is right under the electric tower here in Hearthome city.

Crystal demanded Shinx to give back its sweet bread, but when Shinx turned around the bread was already gone, it had eaten it while it was on the run.

Crystal got frustrated and shot a Mud Bomb at Shinx, Julian was surprised by this, he didn't expect Crystal to learn a new move.

Shinx dodged the attack and ran towards Crystal using Charge, Shinx slammed into Crystal as its body was covered in electricity, Crystal got sent back but to Shinx surprise, Crystal didn't take any damage.

Crystal has changed its typing to Ground so Electric-type moves have no effect on it.

Crystal then sent another Mud Bomb at Shinx and this time it hit Shinx and sent it flying backward as it crashed into a wall, it gritted its teeth and got up but Crystal used Venoshock and brought the Shinx to the ground once again.

Shinx let out a faint growl and stared at Crystal.

Suddenly a shadow dashed towards Crystal while using thunder fang but before the shadow could reach Crystal, Infernape suddenly appeared between Crystal and the Shadow and sent a roundhouse kick towards it and sent the shadow crashing on the ground.

The Shadow seems to be an old Luxray, Julian looks at it and realizes that this Luxray is at the end of its life and will die soon.

The Shinx looked worried at the old Luxray and approached it, Infernape didn't even use little of his power in that move, so Julian had nothing to worry.

Julian "Crystal come here, I will give you another sweet bread"

Crystal seems sad but nodded and went back to Julian's pocket, Shinx noticed Julian now, it didn't see Julian before, now seeing a human here it stood in front of the old Luxray and showed its fangs at Julian.

It seems to be trying to defend the old Luxray, Julian smiled and approached it, Shinx got agitated and covered its body with electricity and warned Julian to back off.

Crystal also got angry seeing Shinx act like this towards Julian and mewed angrily at Shinx.

Julian "Crystal calm down I got this"

Julian said and patted Crystal.

He then approached Shinx, Shinx backed away little as it saw Julian get closer and closer to it, as it sees Julian's hand heading towards it, it gets scared and closes its eyes and increase the electricity around its body.

But the next thing it notices is a warm feeling on top of its head, it opens its eyes and sees Julian smiling and petting it, it is surprising that this human is not getting shocked by its electricity at all.

Soon the Shinx calms down and looks at the old Luxray, it then approaches towards its mouth and takes out a piece of sweet bread that it hid between its neck and chin.

Seeing the sweet bread Crystal gets surprised, it thought that its sweet bread was all eaten but this Shinx had hidden some of it between its chin and neck.

Shinx took the sweet bread and placed it near the Luxray but the Luxray didn't eat it, it just looked at the Shinx and said something.

Julian went forward and checked the condition of Luxray, the Shinx just watched but is still concerned about the Luxray.

After a while Julian shakes his head and he knows that this Luxray cannot be saved, it has reached the limit of its life and it will die.

Seeing the disappointed look in Julian's face, Shinx got sad and lowered its head, it is sad.

Seeing this Crystal pities Shinx and go and sits on top of its head and pets it to calm it down.

Luxray takes its last breath and closes its eye, that last Thunder Fang it used drained its last bit of energy, now it has left the world.

Julian sighed, Shinx seems to be crying but it doesn't lift its head and shows it.

Julian carries the dead Luxray in his hands and looks at Shinx.

Julian "Let's go bury him, he should not be left here"

He said and started to walk away, Infernape put Crystal on his shoulder and asked Shinx to follow as well.

Soon they got out of the underground tunnel, some people saw the dead Luxray in Julian's hand, it saddened them as well.

Soon Julian brought the dead Luxray to the cemetery that is present in Amity Square, it's an area where the ancient statue and temples of Dialga and Palkia.

Julian enters the cemetery and asked a worker to help them, the worker looks at the dead Luxray and nods.

They dig up a grave and place the dead Luxray inside and then cover it up.

Julian prays for a while and turns around to look at the Shinx.

Julian "Don't worry his soul will be in peace if you live a healthy life as well"

Shinx didn't say anything when it saw Julian leaving it looked back at the grave, then at Julian.

It then ran towards Julian at bit his pants and stopped him.

Julian is surprised by this and turns around and sees Shinx looking at him.

Julian "What do you want?"

Shinx then rubs its head on his leg.

Julian "You want to come with us?"

Shinx nods its head.

Julian smiles, Shinx could be a good addition to his team and he has not trained an electric type pokemon after Electivire so he doesn't mind having Shinx in his team.

He bends down and pats Shinx.

"We meet again"

Suddenly Julian hears a familiar voice and he turns around while lifting Shinx in his hand.
