This is getting more heated as Gible and Manaphy have gotten serious, Julian's other pokemon are also tense as they watch from sidelines with his older pokemon as if they are watching a suspense movie, they pass the bucket of popcorn from one to another enjoying this battle.

Manaphy now makes a move and sends out multiple Water Pulse at Gible, just one of them is weak compared to a normal Water Pulse but Manaphy is trying to get the hit with quantity.

Gible dodges them easily by digging up and going down the ground and he starts to dig fast, Manaphy creates another huge Whirlpool and sents it down towards the hole made by Gible, Gible knows that the water is coming behind him but he has to dig a little more before he continues, as the water is close to him, he starts to move in random direction and slowing down the flow of the water, this time he digs until the water completely stops.

But he doesn't get out, he started to dig deeper and create a large pit inside, after he has done with it he makes all the water trapped in the holes he made to flow into this huge pit he just created.

Now Manaphy cannot force him when he goes around the ground as all the water will flow down into that pit.

Gible just created a small underground water source.

Above the surface Manaphy get's confused because it cannot sense the flowing water, it can tell that all the water has gathered up in a place, so now it cannot pinpoint Gible's position.

This is what Gible wants and now he starts to play the hit and hide game with Manaphy.

He comes out of one hole and hits Manaphy with a Dragon Pulse and retreats back into the hole, Manaphy tries to hit back with the Ice Beam but it always misses as Gible has a lot of time to make an escape from the underground maze he just created.

Seeing it was no use, Manaphy decides to overflow the underground tunnel Gible created with water.

It starts to sent Whirlpool one after the other, Gible is also able to and few Dragon Pulse on Manaphy, both are getting tired now and Julian can tell this is coming to an end.

Manaphy's strategy is working as Gible notice water has started to rise and flood his underground tunnels rapidly.

And after a few seconds, it happens and Gible is forced out of his holes, seeing this Manaphy shoots an Ice Beam at Gible but he dodges by moving to the side and blasts a Dragon Pulse at Manaphy.

Both of them are nearly out of their energy and they just have one last big move to decide who will be victorious.

It's a stare down, the atmosphere gets silent as Julian's other pokemons have popcorn stuck in their mouth as they wait in anticipation for the next move the two will choose to end this battle.

Manaphy makes a move and charges towards Gible, yellow energy surrounds Manaphy pulsing with power.

Gible also makes a move, he also charges towards Manaphy as his body glows pure white with silver linings.

Julian 'Last Resort from Manaphy and Double Edge from Gible, looks like it ends here'

He thinks and watches the final exchange.

Both Gible and Manaphy clashes and cause a shockwave to travel across the battlefield blowing away the tiny rubbles of it.

His other pokemons still have the same popcorn in their mouth as they wait for the smoke to clear and see who the winner is.

The smoke clears and both Gible and Manaphy can be seen on the ground struggling to get up, both of them are at their limits, but they get up somehow at stare at each other.

But then both of them collapse at the same time on the ground.

"That's enough its a draw"

Julian says and walks towards them and lifts them up in one arr each and give them some berries so that they can replenish their strength.

Julian "You both fought well but since its a draw both of you won't be advancing"

Julian said and smiled.

Hearing this both Gible and Manaphy get stunned, they fought so hard but at the end none of them advanced, at least they didn't get mad because they got their favorite snacks from Julian.

They ate and joined the others where they got welcomed by tiny claps and cheers.

Julian "So the finalists are Cranidos and Victini, I guess one of you will be the champion for this month's competition"

Julian said.

Victini and Cranidos started at each other, they are ready to get their hands on the grand prize and the one who is stopping them from doing so is the one standing opposite to them.
