Byron looked at Luxray and frowned, he could tell that this Luxray was raised well, he could already tell that Luxio was on its peak but he was limited because of his small size but now it's a different story.

Now Luxray is more powerful, faster and more agile than before. ​​

Byron "Just because your pokemon evolved don't think you can win, you don't stand a chance, Bronzong, use Psyshock once again"

Byron commanded Bronzong to attack.

Julian "Luxray dodge and use Wild Charge"

Julian gave his command.

As the Psyshock rushed towards Luxray, he just moved to the side and dodged it easily, he then charged towards Bronzong with high speed using Wild Charge, as Luxray was too fast Bronzong couldn't dodge it and got hit by it sending it crashing on the ground, Julian didn't wait for it thins time, he made another command right away.

Julian "Finish it with Bite"

Even though Luxray is going through the backlash of using Wild Charge he didn't just stand there, he rushed towards Bronzong who is still on the ground trying to recover.

Byron "Bronzong, get out of there, quick"

Byron ordered but it was too late, a huge jaw made from dark energy opened up, this time it was multiple times bigger than the previous Bite Luxray used when he was a Luxio.

Julian 'Bite has also evolved into Crunch'

Julian thought as he watched the giant dark Jaw slamming shut on Bronzong multiple times which caused a huge explosion, Bronzong was sent rolling out of the smoke knocked out.

Luxray won the battle.

Byron looked at his fallen Bronzong and didn't say anything, he called it back to its Pokeball and looked at Julian.

Byron "Looks like you have the right to carry that cocky attitude of yours, I have never lost my first bout, this is the first time"

Byron said.

Julian "Well, it's a great achievement then"

Julian said.

Byron "But don't worry, you still have to take down three of my other pokemons, and trust me they are not pushovers"

Byron said and took out his next Pokeball and tossed it up in the air, as the ball opened a huge pokemon came crashing out and landed on the battlefield, its roar caused the whole gym to quake.

This pokemon is non-other than Steelix, as it being a Steel-Ground type pokemon, Luxray won't hold up good against it so Julian called him back, most of Luxray's arsenal is his electric type attacks and he doesn't have any attacks that can cause heavy damage to Steelix.

Julian "Luxray, comeback you have done great"

He said and called back Luxray, he then took out his next Pokeball and tossed it up in the air as well, the Pokeball opened and came out Gliscor, Gliscor floated on air and looked at the huge opponent in front of him, this is his very first battle and to face of against such an intimidating opponent is hard but with Julian behind him he has little to worry about and should only focus on what he needs to do.

And that is to battle and bring down his opponent.

Gliscor moved left and right in the air making very small movements ready to make a move.

Byron "Steelix, let's not wait, use Rock Throw"

Hearing this Steelix created multiple small rocks and tossed it towards Gliscor at high speed.

Julian "Dodge"

Julian commanded.

Since this is a closed space Gliscor doesn't have full control over his movement but that is also why Julian kept training Gliscor to master its art of using external forces to move and these rocks that are coming towards him are the external forces.

As he saw the rocks rushing towards him he spread his wings wide and used his tail to switch his position, as the rocks came towards him they created a powerful wind which helped Gliscor easily dodge all those rocks very easily, with the winds generated by those rocks Gliscor used it to his own advantage and dodged them.

Seeing what just happened Byron is shocked, he never seen anything like this before, this was all possible because of Gliscor's wings, they are very efficient in catching even the smallest breeze which allows him to fly for a very long distance without getting tired at all while other flying pokemons would be exhausted by flapping their wings.

Julian "Gliscor, use Earth Power"

With Julian's command, Gliscor collected energy from the ground and shot a glowing ball at Steelix, Steelix being the giant it is, is very slow so there is no way it could dodge this attack, the Earth Power landed directly on Steelix's chest.

It caused a huge explosion which caused Steelix to back off a little bit as the smoke cleared up, Steelix came back to their sight, Steelix is hurt a little as they are not known for the Special Defense, they have a very powerful Defense that is very tough and near unbreakable, but when it comes to Special Defense they lack it but its not too bad.

Right now Julian is just testing the waters, his Gliscor is a physical attacker, he won't be able to keep on attacking Steelix with Special Attacks, it will just drain his power and Steelix would still be standing to finish him off.

Julian 'I think I have a way to bring it down'

Julian thought and smiled.
