Brian noticed how much Rampardos is relying on its legs to powerup this attack so he decided to weaken the attack or maybe even use this attack's power for his benefit.

Mismagius uses Magical Leaf and sends it shooting at Rampardos, the attack hits Rampardos but to Brian's surprise nothing happens, Rampardos keeps charging at Mismagius, well his speed seems to be a little slower but the attack still has a lot of power behind it.

Brian "Dodge it by going underground"

Being a Ghost-type Mismagius has the advantage to pass through solid objects so it dodges the Headbutt from Rampardos by going underground, as Mismagius dodges the attack Rampardos comes to a halt after several steps and looks back to find nothing but an empty battlefield.

His opponent is ell hidden right now and the crowd is anxious to see what is going to happen next.

Brian "Now use Toxic"

Brian plays smart as he tries to poison Rampardos and is successful, Mismagius comes out of the ground from the side and sprays a toxic liquid all over Rampardos which poisons him badly.

With Poison in effect, Rampardos will slowly lose his health and power.

Brian "This time you are going down, now Mismagius, use Magical Leaf"

Mismagius once again uses Magical Leaf, this time its opponent is still, it won't be able to deflect all the power behind the Magical Leaf now.

Julian "Counter with Flamethrower"

Rampardos stands on his ground and blasts a powerful Flamethrower and burns the leaves rushing towards him into a crisp.

Brian "Now, Icy Wind"

Mismagius maintains its distance and blows a cold Icy Wind at Rampardos which cause some damage and as well as slows him down, seeing the development Julian smiles, this was the Brian who he was trying to battle, not the one from before who was obsessed on defeating him.

Julian "ThunderBolt, keep using it, don't stop"

Rampardos roars and blasts a ThunderBolt at Mismagius, Mismagius dodges the attack but Rampardos doesn't stop, he continues to blast ThunderBolt at Mismagius.

Mismagius tries hard to dodge them but it still gets clipped by one from the edge which still caused a zapping sensation to run through Mismagius's body.

Brian "Go underground once again"

Seeing that his Mismagius cannot keep dodging the ThunderBolt Brian decides to make use of the ground once again.

Julian "This trick won't work again, Earth Power"

Rampardos slams his leg on the ground and the battlefield burst with cracks that spread across the whole battlefield, suddenly burst of earth energy rush out of these cracks and along with the energy Mismagius is also sent flying up in the air, Mismagius might get past through solid objects but an elemental attack like Earth Power can deal damage even if it's hiding underground.

Now that Mismagius is forced out, its time to end this.

Julian "Head Smash"

With the signal give Rampardos rush towards the falling Mismagius with all his power, his body is covered with blue energy as he uses his most powerful move as Rampardos is about to make contact the Poison flares up causing a sharp pain to Rampardos as his legs get intertwined and he goes flying.

Rampardos connects with Mismagius and a huge explosion takes place, once the smoke is cleared Mismagius is seen knocked out while Rampardos is barely standing on his feet, Rampardos was really unlucky there, the Poison flared up right before his attack landed causing him to lose his footing and crashed recklessly into Mismagius which also injured him in the process.

Seeing the result even Julian was surprised, he didn't expect the poison to flare up so fast, this showed that Mismagius's Toxic is more lethal than a normal one.
