Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 581

Tobias and Ash got ready to dish out their attacks, both of them asked their pokemons to back off and get into position so they can attack.
Ash's Infernape activated blaze as it was on its last amount of health, the blaze made its fire type move a lot stronger while it increased his speed as well.
With the increased speed and power Infernape is ready to move, Tobias also gets his Tyranitar to take a step back.
Ash "Infernape Close Combat full power"
Tobias "Use Super Power"
Infernape took charge and bolted towards Garchomp at full speed and sued Close Combat and right behind Infernape Tyranitar followed, as Infernape kept pressuring Garchomp by landing multiple combos, Tyranitar got enough time to get close to Garchomp and use Super Power.
Tyranitar's power increased several times as it brought down its massive hand on Garchomp.
Julian "Manaphy, take care of Infernape"
Infernape has dealt enough damage to Garchomp and pushed him back a little while he defended those kicks and punches, his rough scales helped a lot as it caused Infernape to back down early, the more Infernape tries to hit Garchomp the more his hands and legs would get scratched and hurt.
Garchomp's ability Rough Scale deals damage to his opponents when they try to physically attack him and Infernape took a huge risk and continued attacking Garchomp while it got hurt.
Manaphy swooped in and blasted a Water Gun at Infernape who dodged it by jumping to the side.
While Infernape moved away Tyranitar got the chance to attack, its massive hands came crashing down on Tyranitar as its strength had gone exceptionally up by using Super Power.
Julian "Garchomp counter it with Dragon Claws"
As Tyranitar's massive hand defended downwards on Garchomp, Garchomp used Dragon Claws and slashed at the massive hand, the first Dragon Claw was not ver effected so Garchomp tried again with a second one but Tyranitar got through that as well and landed the hit right on top of Garchomp's head.

As the contact was made a huge explosion accused causing smoke to fly everywhere and the whole stadium vibrated as people in the crowd could see the ends of cracks spreading around the dust area, they could tell that the ground was completely destroyed.
As the smoke cleared up both pokemons could be seen still standing, Garchomp's leg was deep inside the ground while Tyranitar's hand were on top of Garchomp's head, Tyranitar slowly backed down as it gripped its hand due to the pain it just suffered, Garchomp's ability did a number on it.
There is smoke coming off of Garchomp's head as he glares angrily at Tyranitar, this reminded him of his humiliating defeat against his own senior, Julian's Tyranitar.
Garchomp pulled out its legs and charged at Tyranitar using Dragon Rush as he heard Julian's voice inside his head.
On the other side of the battlefield, Infernape is not able to keep up with Manaphy as Manaphy is continuously attacking Infernape with water type attacks but in the process, it is getting very tired, Infernape is in its last struggle and Manaphy's stamina is down low.
Any one of them can win over the other if they land the hit first.
Ash "Infernape, now is our chance, use Flare Blitz"
Ash wanted to end this with Flare Blitz, even though Manaphy resist Fire Type attacks it in not in perfect condition to deal with it, even though it has not taken any significant damage, it has used a lot of its energy and it is not tired.
Julian "Water Pulse"
As Infernape charges at Manaphy using Flare Blitz, Manaphy blasts a powerful Water Pulse at Infernape, as the two attacks clash, Infernape tears right through the Water Pulse with its Flare Blitz as the Water Pulse turn into vapor but the Flare Blitz has become weak.

Infernape gets really close to Manaphy and is about to touch it when Manaphy creates another Water Pulse right between it and Infernape.
They clash and a massive explosion accrue, the shockwave sends rubble rolling on the battlefield and the water vapors slowly rise up in the sky through the smoke, the crowd then see Infernape fall down on the ground from the smoke as it has fainted.
And when the smoke clears up everyone can see Manaphy slowly loading down and lands on Infernape, its eyes closed but it isn't knocked out, it fell asleep after exerting itself.
______________________
As Garchomp used Dragon Rush from a close range Tyranitar had no choice but to take it head-on.
Tobias "Counter with Hammer Arm"
As Tyranitar heard Tobias, it lifted its arm to deliver a Hammer Arm but it froze as the stinging pain from hitting Garchomp on the head and damaging itself flared up, Garchomp then crashed right into Tyranitar's stomach as the dragon made of blue energy slammed its jaws shut on Tyranitar creating another massive explosion.
This time the shockwave even went past the first barrier of the stadium by shattering it completely which caught many people by surprise.
Tyranitar got sent flying out of the battlefield and it crashed against the wall and fainted, to blast such a massive pokemon out of the battlefield is no joke but Garchomp did it.
Referee "Both Tyranitar and Infernape is unable to battle, Manaphy and Garchomp win".

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

Katra
Kardin lived a happy and good life. That is, till he was given a strange orb by an even stranger man, maybe even a demon. He watches as his village is burned, the villagers slaughtered and his friend devoured. He escapes into the Jungle of The Gods, a place of ancient ruins and deadly animals. There, he is changed and his fate diverges from what should have been his death. Now he must forge his own path in a world of great beauty and power, where death lurks around the corner and battles between veritable gods are fought. Where nations clash and ancient beings destory civilizations on whims. But unseen cogs move under the surface, events transpiring beyond simple understanding. Strange and powerful items called Artifacts have started to reappear across the land of Auren, empowering their wielders far beyond what cultivation can give. The Traezar Empire and all of Auren are on the precipice of war and strange beings have started to emerge, all with an agenda of their own. Chaos is brewing, and Kardin must survive it, all while trying to attain vengeance and understand his strange and anomalous Katra. ***Current Schedule*** I am currently releasing 1 3,000(Sometimes I end up writing waaaay more) word chapter halfs every week. If there is not some sort of notice as to why I have vanished, then I'm probably dead. Let's hope I don't die then, eh? *Ducks under flying knife* I own this cover, put my own blood, sweat and an hour of my time into it. Ahahaha! This story is inspired (I stress this word, as because most of the story is different) by Will Wight’s Cradle. I highly recommend you read it! (Please for gods sake, if you have something to say, please do it in a curteous fashion. I don’t need any more maniacs flying at me and trying to stab me with sporks, I am already insane enough to fill that role.*Winks*) **What is This Story?** Think cultivation mashed with western fantasy, put into a pot to boil and then drunk while it's pipping hot. All the while a mad man(me) cackles insanely over the pot, stirring. It draws from xianxia lightly, which means no exasperated angry young masters. No “genuis” or “prodigy” MC, one that is not OP, or anything of the like. If you don’t like cultivation novels, this might still be up your alley. MC focuses on “Life Shaping”, see poll 2 for more Info. Warning! If your are squeamish, that gore and traumatizing content tag is there for a reason. I shall dive into both bloody and disturbing scenes and the questionable ethics of manipulating life, and some of it won’t be pretty. With a dose of realism added in. I do add my own evi- I mean despic- no, sorry, interesting twists aswell. >:) Also, I HATE info dumps! *Steps out of the way of a charging semi* Still not dead! Arc 1 (Kindling): Chapter 1 - 13 Arc 2 (Metempsychosis): Chapter 14 - 29 Arc 3 (???): Chapter 30 - ??? A disclaimer, I am new author and am still feeling out my limitations. This story is my hope of bettering my writing skills and to have fun. Buckle up and enjoy the insane journey that is Katra. (Pronounced as cah-tra)

Intercessor
"In my defense, I hadn't actually been trying to get hit by a truck." Artemis wakes up alone in a giant futuristic facility with no hint of where she is, how she got here, or what this means. Yet within two weeks, she is shot at with all the guns, a voice is beginning to speak in her head, and she is tormented by a seemingly sentient and possibly trollish space Roomba. Her only hope is Scarlet, another girl who is a complete stranger and almost shot her in the head. Oh, and she has fox ears and a tail. That is possibly worth mentioning. Artemis is not a nerd. She has never heard of the isekai genre, she can't fight worth a damn, and the blue-collar skills she learned at her community college are absolutely useless in a universe where technology is often indistinguishable from magic. She only has one thing going for her: A mysterious ability to interface with highly advanced technology left behind by the Antecessors, the long lost precursor civilization with technology that no one has been able to adequately replicate. Finding herself in a universe where civilizations are locked in an interstellar Cold War, where societies are so stratified that the aristocracy commands fleets of starships while slaves wash clothes with their hands, Artemis decides to run away from it all. She has a ship. She'll find a crew. She'll find a way to make a living at the fringes of civilization, learn how to cope with danger, and survive the affections of a universe where everyone is a cute girl with animal ears and tails. Welcome to Intercessor. AKA Kemonomimi Yuri Space Fantasy. Commissioned by Shaderic. Please leave your sense of shame at the door.
