During the war times, tanks were made of tungsten which was also to even stop attacks like Hyper Beam and Giga Impact from powerful pokemons so to get through these tanks, humans used tungsten projectiles that were shot at high speed to puncture through these thick tungsten armor tanks.

Using tungsten is the best possible fission the league made for this battle, as Julian watched these workers get busy so they can finish their work, Cynthia appeared behind him and hugged him from behind.

Next morning, a huge crowd has gathered in front of the grand stadium with multiple reporters and TV crew swarming the premises to film the event, there are also people at home sitting in front of their TV to watch this battle, they are all excited, they wanted to see who will be the winner.

Till now Julian won every battle flawlessly and many believed that he can win against Cynthia as well but there are still some people who wanted to support their champion and believed in her strength.

People entered the grand stadium and filled with anticipation as they waited for the champions to come on and start their battle.

After an hour passed the announcer took his seat and began to introduce the participants, first to walk in is Julian as he is the challenger, people's voices echoed in his ears as they repeated his name, the announcer then introduced Cynthia who also got a massive greeting by the crowd.

This was not just a normal challenger versus champion battle, this was a battle between two lovers as well and this got people really excited.

Soon the referee walked in with two flags in his hand, he soon started to explain the rules of this battle, this will be a three on three pokemon battle.

The reason is that the league didn't want the grand stadium to be destroyed so they limited the use of pokemons but nobody needed to know that, the rest of the rules are the same, both sides are allowed to switch pokemons anytime they want.

After confirming that both sides are ready to battle the referee allowed them to choose their pokemon.

Julian went first and sent out his Lucario.

Since he has no idea what Cynthia is going to send out he decided to play it safe with Lucario as she can handle anyone with her skills

Cynthia smiled and sent out her pokemon, a Lucario.

She sent out her own Lucario to deal with Julian's, this battle will be between two Lucario and the crowd is excited to see which one is the better.

Julian smiled and looked at the referee so he can start the battle, the referee then waved his flag and the battle started.

Both Lucario dashed at each other releasing their aura's

Julian "Swords"

Hearing Julian Lucario created two cutlass swords from her Aura and swung it at Cynthia's Lucario.

Cynthia "Jump and use Aura Sphere"

Cynthia's Lucario jumped up and dodged the slashes from Julian's Lucario and then blasted an Aura Sphere at her from mid-air, Julian's Lucario quickly turned around and slashed the Aura Sphere with her sword and split it into two, the sphere then went to the side and exploded on the ground.

Julian "Close Combat"

Since Cynthia decided to mimic him and send out her own Lucario, Julian gave her an invitation to see who has the better Lucario, a battle with skill by using Close Combat.

Cynthia understood this by looking at Julian's smile and smiled as well and instruct her Lucario to use Close Combat as well.

Both Lucario started to exchange blows, Cynthia's Lucario created a staff out of the aura and tried to block the incoming attacks from Julian's Lucario's swords but he could only block one at a time, whenever he blocked one she would slash him up with another.

This forced Cynthia's Lucario to back up with some injuries while Julian's Lucario is still unscathed, she was clearly the more skilled fighter.

The battle continued and this time Cynthia played smart by trying to maintain her distance from Julian's Lucario but that was not possible, Julian's Lucario is way faster than hers

She easily caught up to him and slashed at him with Shadow Slash and then hit him with a Drain Slash which finally put Cynthia's Lucario on the ground.

Julian "Aura Sphere"

Lucario then finally ended her opponent who is on the ground with a powerful Aura Sphere giving Julian the first victory.

Referee "Cynthia's Lucario is unable to battle, Julian's Lucario wins"
