It took a moment for everyone to take in that Julian's Lucario got defeated and it was done none other than their champion, Cynthia.

This is the first time anyone has ever gotten a clear knock out over Julian and his pokemon, the crowd cheered for Cynthia but it really didn't matter for Cynthia. ​ ​

Her Zoroark was much stronger and faster than Julian's Lucario and to an extent that her skills really didn't matter at all.

But Julian didn't mind it, it is ok for his pokemons to lose sometimes, they won't grow overconfident.

Julian looked at Cynthia's Zoroark and noticed that he is holding to the side of its stomach, he is hurt after that exchange and this is enough for Julian.

He called Lucario back to her Pokeball and sent out his Garchomp again.

Garchomp took his place on the battlefield and looked at his opponent, he could tell that his opponent is strong but his opponent is hurt as well.

But that didn't matter to Garchomp, he always wants to battle a tougher opponent, before he thought that Cynthia's Garchomp is strong but now even she is no match to his immense power, any other pokemon is no big challenge to him as well, only his seniors, Tyranitar and Absol, he challenged them many times and every time they would defeat him easily.

That is why he is not overconfident, he knows there are still monsters out there, like his seniors, Tyranitar and Absol and their batch and even more monstrous existence like Infernape, Snorlax and Gengar and the rest of the group.

Garchomp still cannot phantom what level they are at.

The battle started with both pokemon rushing towards each other, Zoroark used Night Slash while Garchomp used Dragon Claw, both clashed with each other and the result is a draw, the ground underneath their foot got destroyed and their claws gripped into the thick tungsten layer below.

Julian's Garchomp strength was comparable to a pokemon that is above a champion level.

This is clearly shown by this clash, Zoroark is clearly way beyond a Champion level pokemon but for Garchomp to match its strength for strength is ridiculous.

Both of them backed off after the clash and sized up each other again, both had similar strength but the rest favored Zoroark, he is faster and has a higher Special Attack than Garchomp.

Another thing that favors Garchomp is his Defense, with an ability like Rough Skin, he dealt extra damage to his opponents when even they handed a Physical attack on him.

Zoroark then blasted a powerful Dark Pulse at Garchomp so he blocked it by using Protect and charged at Zoroark using Dual Chop.

Zoroark countered Garchomp with a Sucker Punch, the punch landed on Garchomp's stomach but it didn't stop him from landing two powerful chops on Zoroark, Zoroark got a little hurt with he used Sucker Punch but after getting hit by the Dual Chop he is sent flying as he crashed on the ground.

Cynthia "Zoroark, get up and use Dark Pulse"

Zoroark got back to his feet and shot a Dark Pulse at Garchomp before he could even get close to him to land another one of those attacks.

Julian "Dragon Pulse"

Garchomp also blasted his Dragon Pulse to counter the Dark Pulse, both attacks clashed creating a big explosion, but the Dark Pulse then ripped through the Dragon Pulse and headed straight towards Garchomp.

Julian "Destroy it with Dragon Claw"

As the Dark Pulse got closer, Garchomp slashed at it with his claw and completely destroyed it, the Dark Pulse had already lost most of its power and when it came in contact with Garchomp it was nothing.

Cynthia "Zoroark create an Illusion"

Suddenly Zoroark howled and the battlefield started to change and it turned into a thick rain forest, there are trees everywhere and Garchomp got confused, he couldn't tell where Zoroark is.

Cynthia "Dark Pulse"

Suddenly a Dark Pulse came out of nowhere and hit Garchomp in the back and made him fall on the ground, he got back to his feet again and another Dark Pulse came and hit him.

The only one suffering from this illusion is Garchomp as he and the rest of the world can still see the broken stadium and how Garchomp is taking one hit after the other, completely confused from what is happening right now.

Julian "Garchomp, listen to me and calm down"

As Garchomp is trying to figure out where Zoroark is attacking him from he hears Julian's voice and calms down but the Dark Pulse still comes and hits the right side of his chest but he takes it and stands still.

Julian "Good, now Earthquake"

Garchomp roars and slams his leg on the ground which causes a massive earthquake, the blast power from the Earthquake caused the tungsten below their feet to vibrate as such a rapid pace that it started to split and crack, Zoroark felt his legs go numb at first then a massive about of earth energy blasted him as he was sent flying in the sky.

The illusion broke and Garchomp could see again.

Julian "Now, use Draco Meteor"

Garchomp then shot a powerful energy ball up in the sky and once it reached an approximate height it split into many pieces by exploding and raining down on the ground, Zoroark got caught in the middle of this meteor shower.

It was as if someone is shooting rockets at him, after getting hit several times he got planned deep into the ground, he even went half an inch deep into the tungsten layer as well.

Zoroark struggled to get up but this is the end.

Julian "It's over, Dragon Rush"

Garchomp charged at Zoroark with a massive energy dragon surrounding him.

Cynthia "Protect"

Zoroark with his last bit of energy tried to create a shield and is successful but the bite force of this energy dragon is too much for it to handle, the protect shattered into pieces as the jaws closed down on Zoroark with a massive explosion following after.

The shockwave shattered the protective layers around the grand stadium as the crowd stepped back so they don't get hit.

As the smoke cleared up the result is clear, Garchomp won as everyone could see him standing huffing for breath with scratches all over his body while he opponent Zoroark is on the ground, completely knocked out with dust all over him.

Referee "Zoroark is unable to battle, Garchomp wins, hence the winner of this battle Julian"

With this announcement, it finally came to an end.

Julian's final battle in Sinnoh ended with his win.
