Some people say Mew is the first pokemon ever but every research till now states that every pokemon that lives on the land is a descendant of a pokemon that lived in the ocean before everything.

This world is so weird that even Julian has a hard time putting everything together, it was very mysterious, Julian became interested in Professor Juniper's research, to find the origin of pokemon.

If Mew was really the first pokemon, did it start its life in the ocean?

Julian had these questions, he asked the system for an answer but it didn't know as well, soon he gave up and decided to do what he does the best, look around and see if he can find a pokemon that is suitable for his team.

Since there are some people around here he put on his mask and hood and started to look around, the people who come here are novice trainers and people who need to catch a pokemon with no effort for a pet or a partner.

After looking around Julian felt helpless and sat down on the grass and looked at the bright and sunny sky, he has been here for an hour now but he didn't find any suitable pokemon for his team, as he was thinking about what to do, he noticed Crystal woke up from its sleep, he sighed and pulled out a bottle of MooMoo milk and some pokemon food.

It was time for his pokemons to eat their lunch, he called out all his pokemons and set up everything, Infernape, Gengar, Snorlax, the original three, Julian's most important pokemons, then Garchomp and Victini who Julian brought to Unova as well, they were the best candidate to grow even stronger and maybe one-day reach levels similar to Gengar and others.

He placed all their lunch in front of them and sat down looking at the sky, he noticed some pokemons approaching them after smelling the food and he welcomed them, currently his team is very small so he has a lot of food with him so he didn't mind feeding few of these wild ones.

He just sat there and watched, not bothering with these pokemons, as they all finished all their food, Julian noticed a new visitor, it is a small chubby round red pokemon with a very cute smile on its face walked towards them, every step it took was funny to Julian.

It moved its whole body to just take a step, Julian laughed seeing how cute this little one was, the little pokemon in non-other than Darumaka.

Darumaka got close to Julian and looked at him with his cute eyes asking for food, Julian smiled awkwardly as he saw that all the food was eaten, well he had some extra food inside his pouch but it might attract more attention.

Julian "Sorry but everything is over"

Julian smiled and patted the Darumaka's head, Darumaka understood what Julian said and got sad, soon tears started to come out of his eyes and he started to cry, Darumaka then got angry and charged at the other wild pokemons who were around Julian because they ate his food, these wild pokemons were surprised but they were ready to battle.

But this Darumaka caught Julian's attention as he noticed fire energy building up inside this little Darumaka, the Darumaka then shot an Ember at one of the pokemons, for his size and level this Ember was very strong, Julian got surprised, it even caught Infernape's attention.

Infernape then stopped the Ember with his hand and looked at Darumaka, Darumaka got startled as he saw his Ember got stopped by Infernape.

Darumaka got pissed and shot another Ember and this time it was at Infernape, the Ember just touched Infernape and disappeared without doing anything, it was like Darumaka is trying to throw a cotton ball at Infernape.

Julian chuckled and lifted Darumaka who got caught by surprise, he tried to struggle out of Julian's grip but it was useless.

Julian "Ok, calm down, here have this"

Julian said and pulled out a Spelon berry, one of the spiciest berries in this world, fire pokemons love these, it was also Infernape's favorite so Julian has a lot of them with him, Darumaka got excited and chomped down on the Spelon berry.

After chomping down all the berries in one go, it felt the spice and then shot out fire from its mouth, even fire type pokemons are not immune to the spiciness of this berry that is why they loved it.

After breathing out all the fire the Darumaka got satisfied.

Julian "Hey little one, want to come with me, I have a lot of these berries with me"

Julian said.

He sounded like a suspicious man who is bribing a small kid with candies, luckily no one is around so no one heard him.

Darumaka got excited when he heard that there is more delicious food and berries with Julian he decided to follow Julian and gave a big nod to Julian with his whole body tumbling down as he fell on his face, he then struggled a little and got back to his tiny feet with the same cute smile on his face.

Julian laughed seeing this clumsy little fellow and pulled out a Pokeball and touched Darumaka with it, the ball didn't even beep for three seconds, it was a successful catch under a second.

And just like that Julian found his first Unova pokemon, he could tell that this Darumaka is a strong one as he already knows how to channel his energy to release a strong fire attack.

As Julian picked up the Pokeball it opened and Darumaka came out on its own and stared at Julian with its big round eyes, Julian knew that Darumaka is asking for more.

Julian sighed and took out some more Spelon berries and gave it to Darumaka, once he got satisfied he rolled down on his back while rubbing his stomach with its tiny hands and burping out small bits of fire.
