Julian walked deeper into the cave and followed the stream of water, if he can find the source of this water, he could possibly find the location of some strong pokemons as they ten to live near these water source.

On his way, Julian came across a Roggenrola, it then suddenly attacked using Tackle, Julian just moved to the side and dodged it, he then watched the Roggenrola crash into the wall but to his surprise, the Roggenrola actually managed to crack the wall, seeing this he got excited because this Roggenrola clearly has potential but he didn't catch it. ​​

He has just entered the cave and he already found a good pokemon, he wondered if there are pokemons with even greater potential.

He left a mark behind on this Roggenrola. If he cannot find an even better pokemon he will come back for it, Julian turned his back to the Roggenrola and continued forward while it tried to struggle back on its feet.

Julian encountered more pokemons on his way and he was pretty surprised by the outcome, the pokemons living here were all great but they were also protected by the big shots in this cave, on his way he came across a massive Gigalith that tried to chase him away but Julian used Victini to take care of it, the deeper he goes into the cave the darker it gets, so he decided to bring Victini outside and light up his path while it sat on his shoulder and chatted with Crystal who was getting a little bored.

Every pokemon he came across were great and Julian couldn't make a decision at all, the Roggenrola that he encountered at the beginning was clearly the best out of all the once he has seen till now but the gap wasn't that huge as well, he could easily refine their methods and make them as effective as that Roggenrola.

While Julian is having a hard time deciding on which little ones to chose, the big ones were the real problem, as soon as they saw Julian they would charge at Julian. If it was not for Victini chasing them away it would take Julian even longer to reach the end of the cave where he hopes to find the water source.

The bigger ones were really strong, but their potential was wasted, they couldn't find a trainer to refine their moves and they grew old here in the wild and battled for territories, some of the older ones were even better than Julian had expected, if he had met them when they were much younger, they could have joined his team and become monsters like Garchomp.

It was not easy to get to the end because on the way he came across a very tough opponent, and Excadrill and a very powerful one, Julian is surprised by seeing such a powerful pokemon in this cave, it is as strong as an Elite level pokemon, just a few years and it might become a champion level pokemon.

Seeing this Julian also realized that his goal is near, finding such a strong pokemon means that the water source should be close by.

But battling this Excadrill was a lot harder than he expected, it knew this cave better than he did, it has spent its whole life here so it knows every nook and crony in this cave, it also has a pre-built cave system of its own underground that it uses to escape from Victini's attack.

Julian could ask Victini to just blast a powerful fire blast into a hole which will certainly force out the Excadrill but he didn't because there are more than one pokemon underneath, he could sense their life force, there seem to be tiny baby pokemons underground, they may be this Excadrill's family.

If he decides to blast fire into one of the holes, it could severely hurt those little ones and they could even die, Victini is just way too powerful and Julian doesn't want to kill innocent pokemons even by mistake or it will haunt him for days.

Julian "Victini, be on alert and as soon as it resurfaces, hit it with a Psyshock"

Victini nodded and maintained a distance from the surface and waited for its chance, Julian could feel the ground underneath is feet vibrating as Excadrill was moving inside the ground while spinning, it was just one powerful pokemon.

Julian "Here it is"

Julian warned Victini as he saw a big Excadrill tore through the ground and charged at Victini spinning very rapidly using Drill Run, a very powerful ground type move that Excadrills can use.

Victini suddenly used Teleport and vanished from its spot which made Excadrill continue forward towards the ceiling, Victini suddenly appeared right behind it and blast a shock wave of psychic energy sending the Excadrill crashing into the ceiling and then it fell down crashing on the ground.

Victini's attack was not something an Elite level pokemon can handle.

Excadrill couldn't move a finger after getting hit by that Psyshock, its energy was completely depleted, suddenly Julian felt another light tremor underneath his feet, this was much smaller than before.

Soon a little pokemon peeked out from the ground, it is a Drilbur, after a second two more Drilbur popped their head out and looked at Excadrill and cried out.

Julian looked at these three and his eyes suddenly gleamed, the last Drilbur that just popped out was the pokemon he was looking for, he could feel the Ground inside this Drilbur, the way it moved inside its body was the same as his Darumaka, this Drilbur knew how to use its energy.

He found his third pokemon.
