Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 637

Yesh won his second gym battle in Unova, he is a good trainer and caught up to what Julian thought him easily but he still has a long way to go.
Lenora also seemed to be impressed by Yesh and walked towards him and gave him the Basic Badge, it is a slender rectangle with golden borders and purple color inside them.
Yesh didn't show any emotions and just took the badge and put it inside his badge case, now that he was done with his battle he called his Mawile back, turned around and left. Since Julian also has nothing to do he decided to leave as well.
He cannot battle her now even if he wanted to because her pokemons are already in bad shape and they need to rest, Lenora watched as Julian got up from his seat and walked towards the door.
Lenora "So tomorrow huh?"
She asked to which Julian just nodded his head.
Lenora "I won't hold back, I want to see how good you really are with your new pokemons"
Lenora has already figured out Julian's identity, there was already talk between gym leaders about Julian, a man in black suit and mask will come to battle them and it will either be Julian or someone pretending to be him.
There were a lot who used Julian's identity to fool around with the gym leaders so they were a little wary about everyone that walked into their gym, but seeing how this particular one acted, he didn't say he was the champion, he didn't directly challenge them nor he was being arrogant.
He minded his own business and watched the battle, a pretender wouldn't act like this so Lenora took a wild guess.
Julian turned around and looked at Lenora.
Julian "Ms. Lenora, you are indeed a very good gym leader, one of the best I have seen but you cannot defeat me, I will come back to claim my badge tomorrow"

He said and walked away leaving Lenora behind, she didn't mind Julian's provocation at all, instead, she laughed, she had not fought a serious battle in ages so she will be waiting for Julian's challenge.
As Julian got out of the gym he saw Yesh standing outside waiting for him, when he saw Julian, Yesh walked towards him and asked him about his performance.
Julian "You did good by forcing her into attacking, the last part was very good but the beginning of the battle could be improved, Lenora had many moments where she could have chosen to counter but held back knowing your capability"
He gave an honest answer but it didn't seem to bother Yesh at all, he just noted it down inside his head and looked at Julian once again and this time he just stood there looking at him.
Julian "Anything else?"
Julian asked as he looked at Yesh looking at him with his emotionless eyes like a robot.
Yesh "What do I do now?"
He asked clueless about what he should do, he finished his battle before he expected, he thought it will take him a little bit longer before he could challenge Lenora but with Julian's help, he improved a little faster and now he has no idea what he was going to do, he cannot leave the city because he wanted to tag along with Julian.
Julian "Why are you asking this to me, do whatever you want, go play, look around the city, do what kids do"
He said.
Yesh "They all seem pointless to me, I don't understand why people even do that, its a waste of time and energy"
Yesh said in a flat tone again to which Julian sighed, he knew Yesh has problems but he doesn't want to know about it, my be in the future if things being complicated and messy but now he wants to do nothing with Yesh's origin, he is just a boy who wants to learn and is willing to help Julian doing his daily chores during his travel.

Julian "Have you eaten anything?"
He asked. Yesh shook his head denying it and told Julian that he hasn't had anything since morning.
Julian "Then let's go and eat something, then you can go and train further in the park if you want"
Julian said and took Yesh to a restaurant, after getting themselves a table a waiter passed the menus to both Julian and Yesh.
Julian "Order anything you want"
Yesh nodded his head and started to order, and it was filled with different types of hamburgers and chicken burgers, Julian just sighed and ordered some steak and something to go with it, the waiter nodded and looked weirdly at Yesh, even though kids liked burgers he has never seen any kid order so much, he wondered if the boy could eat it all.
But the waiter had nothing to do with it, he went back to the kitchen, soon he came back along with a co-worker to give their dishes, Julian looked at the mountain of burgers and showed a sign of concern, he didn't want to take care of Yesh the whole day if he gets a stomach problem.
But Julian's concern was for nothing, he looked in shock as Yesh gulped down every last bit of the burgers he ordered while Julian had just finished his steak.
Julian "How are you able to eat so much?"
He asked.
Yesh "I don't know, I am always hungry, this is a normal serving for me"
Yesh said and got off his chair and walked out of the restaurant informing Julian that he will be heading to the park to train and will meet him tomorrow at the gym again.
Julian didn't say much and just looked at Yesh disappearing from his sight, he could tell that there is more to Yesh, he is very weird but intelligent, it doesn't take long for him to learn things, he doesn't like to talk much, he doesn't seem to understand the concept of fun at all.
What kid who is just 12 don't know how to have fun unless they have a very troubled background and since Julian decided to take Yesh as his student he will have to find out Yesh's problem and maybe he will be able to help him.

QUOTE FROM TRAILER: "A tale that was hushed and concealed by the heavens during the final days of the seven warring states of China. Here, in plain words, resonates a love with such fleeting beauty like that of a plum blossom, and fellowship with such force in grace and perseverance like that of a heron." The novel is written in third person in the views of Ying-tai and Xiu Juan who are lovers. Both descendants of Qin, they are separated by the unfortunate events that take place during the 7 Warring States of China and they fight from opposite ends of the world to reunite. In their trials, they are tested against all that they know and the fine line that once divided mankind disintegrates as camaraderie is found amongst the known enemy. OST Track 1: Prayer *PLEASE NOTE: The illustrations in the story do not belong to me. They were artworks done by other amazing artists that inspired me to write what I wrote and to create the characters in the story. Most of the photos shown in the chapters were done by one of my favorite illustrators, Ibuki Satsuki (CHECK OUT THIS PERSON'S WORK! THEY'RE ALL AMAZING!!!) I greatly appreciate and enjoy all of their beautiful pieces of work!*

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions. But you need to live in the dark to appreciate the light...or at least, the lighter grays 🖤🖤
