Since both of them came to an understanding and knew they have to work together or they will keep getting attacked by these weird black pokemons.

They finally talked and decided to let Excadrill take the front and Boldore take the back, while Excadrill is more powerful, he should be able to take down most pokemons that attacked them, while Boldore act as an assistant with his Power Gem attacks. ​​

Even though its not his most powerful attack it is still his most dangerous one, with the ability to continue shooting those light beams of rock energy, the effects are like of a mini-gun.

With their new agreement, they started to move again, after some time they got attacked again, this time it was a black Seviper but this time they were a lot more successful in defending themselves, Excadrill blocked its attack and Boldore finished it with Power Gem.

They kept on walking down the one path that was in front of them, the dark forest was getting even creepier and more powerful black pokemons started to appear in front of them, soon it got hard for them to battle these pokemon, it was as if these pokemons knew what they are going to do and soon counter them.

It was getting harder and harder, both Excadrill and Boldore are now in very bad shape, they just defeated a black Rhydon, it had critical hits on both Excadrill and Boldore, but the still struck through and destroyed the black Rhydon.

Little did they know that both have already started to trust each other without them even realizing about it, they were constantly keeping an eye out for each other trying to save them whenever the other is in danger.

They walked for very long, they felt as if days have passed and they still haven't reached their destination, but they didn't give up, they wanted to save Julian from the evil existence.

They didn't fight against each other now, they started to communicate and though of ways to ward of the dangers they keep facing, after someone they finally found something that put a smile on their faces.

The end of the long road was right in front of them but they could feel it, the dark existence presence at the end of the road, they were scared but they still want to go in because they want to save Julian.

Boldore and Excadrill looked at each other and nodded their head and started to walk towards the end of the road. When the arrived at the end they saw it, the massive dark figure that is just standing there staring at a massive cage.

Excadrill and Boldore looked at each other and then at the massive cage, they saw Julian and his other pokemons tied up inside, they looked unconscious, Excadrill and Boldore were very concerned seeing Julian in such a state, he looked pale and skinny, it was as if his energy was sapped away.

The aura that Julian has around him was not present at all, his pokemons were also in the same situation, they all look skinny and pale, Boldore got angry and used Power Gem and shot it at the dark existence, but it was as if the attack hit nothing for air.

The existence turned around and looked at Excadrill and Boldore with its fierce red eyes, it looked at both of them and started to laugh.

???? [Hahahaha, I didn't expect you both to come here, you are both stupid and weak but you might still act as nourishment for me I guess, hahahahah]

The dark existence started to laugh and black tentacles came out of its body and headed towards both Excadrill and Boldore, seeing the tentacles approaching them, they both attacked to counter them, Excadrill used Horn Drill and Boldore used Power Gem, the Horn Drill destroyed the tentacle and the Power Gems put several holes in it and destroyed it.

But the existence didn't stop and shot several tentacles at them, both Excadrill and Boldore continued towards counter the tentacles but it was useless, they seem to be endless and both of them were getting tired.

Boldore [Try to hold it off and I will try to destroy that cage]

Boldore said and destroyed the tentacles that were shot at him, Excadrill noded and used Rock Slide to counter the tentacles, Boldore got his opening and used Power Gem and hit the cage which was holding Julian and others, the cage broke as Julian and his pokemon fell on the ground.

Boldore got a little excited as his attempt was successful but a tentacle suddenly appeared out of nowhere and tried to grab him, Boldore was stunned at the tentacle was too fast but Excadrill suddenly stepped up and blocked the tentacle with his bare claws.

The tentacle then wrapped around Excadrill and lifted him up in the air, Boldore panicked as he saw this, he didn't expect Excadrill to step in and save him, now it was his turn to step in and save Excadrill as well.

He used Power Gem and destroyed the tentacle that wrapped Excadrill, Excadrill fell on the ground hard as the fall was very high.

Seeing that Excadrill is defenseless the existence continued its attack on Excadrill and blasted multiple tentacles at Excadrill like harpoons as if the pointy end want to impale him.

Seeing this Boldore rushed and blocked the tentacles with his own body, his body being a very hard rock was much better at blocking than Excadrill, Excadrill would have been badly injured if those tentacles hit but Boldore stepped in and protected him.

Excadrill [Why are you doing this?]

He asked as Boldore held of those tentacles.

Boldore [I don't want to disappoint master by quarreling with you, you are part of master's family as well]

Excadrill didn't say anything and just nodded, suddenly Boldore started to collapse as one of his leg's went weak.

Seeing this Excadrill stepped in and used Rock Slide at the Dark Existence, the rocks landed hard but there seems to be no effect at all, the Dark Existence was completely unfazed by it.
