Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 887

As Ghetsis got back to his senses he realized that his fingers were intact, he wondered if he was dreaming but that thought soon shattered away as he noticed Julian right in front of him with a bloody plier in his hand.
Ghetsis "Wait, let me go, I beg you, I won't do it again"
It was very clear that Ghetsis didn't want to go through that torture again.
Julian didn't mind him at all and continued with his torture, he repeated the process but soon Julian realized something, he didn't feel anything even after putting Ghetsis through torture, Julian didn't feel satisfied.
Even though this bastard came after his loved ones and even after putting Ghetsis through his misery, Julian didn't feel any kind of accomplishment after doing so.
He thought he would feel some kind of fulfillment from taking his revenge but he didn't, he looked at Ghetsis who seems to be mumbling words that made no sense.
Julian "Che, bastard"
He said and put his pliers away and removed his gloves, he then gave Gengar some potions and berries and told him to feed them to Ghetsis after a few hours and let him suffer through the pain.
Gengar took the potions and berries and took Ghetsis away with him into his dimension.
Julian 'I should have just killed him, I feel nothing by torturing someone who is weaker'
He thought to himself. If it were the past, Julian would not have thought the same but now he is changing, slowing turning, and giving in to his primal instinct.
He thought about it for a second before finally giving up on the idea of putting Ghetsis through any amount of torture, he would just hand Ghetsis over the to league along with all the evidence Zinzolin sends him over.

The worst thing that can happen to Ghetsis is his whole money empire getting destroyed.
Julian finally walked out of the cave and looked at the bright sun in the sky, he then looked around and realized that an avalanche took place, all the team plasma grunts have been washed away with the avalanche.
He then looked around to find Colress and finally noticed him, just like he had instructed Gengar tied up Colress to a pillar.
He looked at Colress who seems to be lost in his own thoughts, he then walked towards Colress and stood right in front of him.
Colress lifted his head and looked at Julian.
Colress "Mr. Julian, thank you for saving me, but I am wondering why did you tie me up here"
Julian "About that, now that you are jobless and fund less, I think I found a perfect job for you"
Julian said.
Colress "Oh, I am intrigued"
Julian "You will be working for my organization Omni Guardians, you will help my organization and I will fund your projects."
Julian didn't beat around the bushes and told him directly.
Colress "I accept"
Colress also didn't wait around and took the job, he would be an idiot if he didn't take this job, it would be just like his previous job but this time he would not be tied up to a criminal organization.
Julian "Good, you can visit the league headquarters and tell them that I sent you, they will then take you to the place where you will be working"
Colress "I understand"
Colress said.
As soon as he said it, he felt the ropes around him loosen, he then got back to his feet and looked at Julian and fixed his glasses which were on his nose.
Colress "What now?'

He asked while looking at Julian.
Julian "What? Do you want me to give you a piggyback ride down the mountain?"
He asked.
Colress "No need, I will take my leave"
Colress said and walked past Julian and went down the mountain, Julian also had nothing else to do, he called out Garchomp, got on top of his back and flew back to his hotel, and landed on the roof.
He returned back to his hotel room and laid down on his bed, suddenly his phone rang and he picked it up.
"Boss, it's me"
The person on the other side said.
Julian recognized this person, he is none other than the previous underworld elite commander that Julian saved in a way.
Julian "Yes, what is it?"
"This guys named Zinzolin sent us some files filled with information about Ghetsis"
Julian "Oh, send it to the league in Unova"
"Will do boss"
Julian "And how is Sasha doing?"
Julian asked as she just joined the organization, she is still not the one making decisions and is working directly under the person Julian is talking to right now.
"She is very good, boss, she will be a great candidate for a leader, she also seems to be very loyal towards you, a perfect trait for a commander"
He said.
Julian "Good, make sure she learns everything"
"Don't worry boss, will do"
Julian ended the call and put his phone away.
Julian [Gengar deliver that bastard to the league, make sure he is in good condition]
Hearing Julian Gengar left his shadow and went on his own little adventure as a postal service pokemon to deliver the package called Ghetsis.

The Girl from the Mountain
Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

Someone Like Adam
"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle!
