Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 933

The battle between Emboar and Excadrill became very physical in nature, both of them tried to overcome the other with brute force, while Ash had fun while battling, Yesh kept his head clear of any thongs.
He made sure to not come up with any kind of battle plan and think of something in the very second of the battle, Emboar being the bigger pokemon tried to use its weight around and push Excadrill, but Excadrill seems to be very quick with his feet and his claws.
He would counter every move that was thrown on him by Emboar and then would land a hit on top, the battle soon came to an end as the final move was made.
Ash called for a Brick Break while Yesh chose to increase his pokemon's power and accuracy by using Hone Claw and then Drill Run.
Excadrill dodged the Brick Break and landed the Drill Run right on Emboar's chest and sent it crashing to the ground.
Referee "Emboar is unable to battle, Excadrill wins"
The Referee called another result as he saw Emboar getting knocked out.
Ash clenched his fist as he saw his Emboar go down as well, he tried his best but his opponent seems to be much stronger than he expected.
Yesh "As I said, you won't win this time"
Yesh said as he looked at Ash's fallen pokemon, he then looked at Ash who seems to be showing frustration on his face.
Ash "It doesn't matter"
He said as he looked straight into Yesh's eyes.
Yesh "Why doesn't it matter? I have completely figured you out, you have no chance of winning against me"
Yesh answered.
Ash "I don't know what you figured out, it doesn't matter to me, I am here to battle and win and that is all I have in my mind right now, so it really doesn't matter if you have figured me out, I am here to win and no one will know the result until the end."

He said.
Yesh looked at Ash for a few seconds before giving an answer.
Yesh "Have it your way then, bring out your next pokemon."
Yesh said in a monotone voice but Ash definitely took this personally, he thinks Yesh is looking down on him, Ash didn't wait and sent out his next pokemon, Scrafty.
A Dark/Fighting-type pokemon, being a fighting type, it also has an advantage against Yesh's Excadrill and a higher chance of winning this round as Excadrill has been on the battlefield against two opponents now.
Ash's Scrafty enters the battlefield while holding onto the loose skin around its waist, it then looks at Excadrill and spits on the ground to provoke Excadrill.
Scraftys are known for their aggressive behavior against unknown people and pokemon, they would always attack any stranger that comes inside their territory but they are also known to be very kind to their friends and family.
Yesh looked at Ash's next choice and still didn't bother coming up with a battle strategy, he wants to continue doing what he is doing.
The battle started again and just like before Yesh's Excadrill seems to be too much for Ash's Scrafty, its defense was much better than Ash's previous two pokemons but it didn't have enough strength to capitalize over Yesh's Excadrill.
As the battle went on, Ash's Scrafty got pushed to a corner before Yesh called for the final move.
Yesh "Use Submission"
After cornering Scrafty, Excadrill drilled into the ground and shot out right behind Scrafty and got his arms around Scrafty's neck and hands, and submitted it to the ground.
Scrafty tried to struggle out of the submission hold from Excadrill but couldn't find enough strength to fight back, it soon fainted out of exhaustion and not being able to breathe for a while.

Referee "Scrafty is unable to battle, Excadrill wins"
The referee called another result and the scoreboard changed again.
By now three of Ash's pokemon are down, Krookodile, Emboar, and now Scrafty while Yesh only lost his Scizor.
The crowd is also going wild as they witnessed how strong Yesh's Excadrill really is, it alone took down three of Ash's pokemon and it still seems to be going strong.
Ash clenched his fist as he saw his Scrafty going down as well, Yesh just seems to be overpowering him in every aspect.
He started to lose some confidence in himself as he couldn't think of anything to counter Yesh but suddenly he felt a tug on his leg, he looked down and saw his Pikachu looking at him with determination in his eyes.
Ash "You wanna go?"
He asked.
Pikachu "PiiiiKKAACHU"
Pikachu called out his own name with a nod.
Ash "Fine, let's do this"
Ash said and sent out Pikachu as his next pokemon, sending out an electric type pokemon against a ground type pokemon like Excadrill could be considered foolish but logic never applied with Ash.
Yesh looked at Ash's choice and got a little more serious, he has been studying Ash and he knows that Pikachu is one of Ash's strongest pokemon or if not, the strongest pokemon as he has been with Ash from the very beginning and has gone toe to toe with Julian's pokemon on a battlefield as well.
He didn't expect Ash to send out his Pikachu so early but it didn't matter, Yesh saw himself winning this battle and in his mind, the outcome won't change, he is 80% sure that he is going to win this battle and head to the finals and face of against Julian.
Julian who is looking at this battle finally smiled as he saw Pikachu entering the battlefield, it is always great to see Pikachu battle as this little electric mouse is one of the most powerful pokemon he has ever seen.
Julian even wondered how strong Pikachu would have really been if he had trained him, he powers would have been at ridiculous levels under Julian's guidance.

The Court of Souls?
What do we talk about tonight?~“How about a story?”~Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one.~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~Was it strong then?~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it?~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~So he became a hero and changed the world?~»…”~Tell me.~“Nooo, that’s not how the story goes. This isn’t a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was… kinder than the rest.”~A kind demon? How boring.~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~So tell the story!

A Tale From Azaad
Desperate and wandering, a young lord stumbles upon unknown knowledge that can help to overturn his peoples’ destiny. But can he rise to bring the prosperity his people need, or fall before it can ever take shape? AN: I hate writing synopses, so I'd recommend reading a few chapters before making a decision. Also, it's tagged as an isekai but those tropes don't appear. Warnings: I mention them, but there are a few chapters that are really gruesome. Furthermore, the innovations and advancements don't come into play until a lot later, though the framework for it all is built up early. Inspirations: South Asian history, Tales of a Reincarnated Lord and some of the histroical and kingdom-building stories on RR are inspirations for this work. If you enjoy politics, clever strategies, nation-building and technological advancement, then this story might interest you. Schedule: New chapter every Saturday at 3PM PST.
