Julian decided to put an end to this battle.
Though Porygon is not facing Vivillon right now, it still has a wide-area move, though not an attack-type move, it will still be useful.
As Vivillon disappeared in the air and arrived right next to Porygon ready to crash into it, Julian made his move.
Julian "Use Thunder Wave"
Porygon released a discharge of electric pulse around it, the electric pulse hit Vivillon but it didn't stop it from landing the Ariel Ace onto Porygon.
Porygon was sent sliding through the wet ground and finally stopped, due to how Julian had allocated its stats, Porygon's defense was high enough to tank that hit and now Porygon's opponent is helpless, it was able to deal damage but because of this, now it lays paralyzed on the ground.
Due to the water on the ground, the electric pulse around its body seems to be acting up more than normal.
Vivillon tried to move but it couldn't feel anything but numbness around its whole body.
Viola "Vivillon, try to move, quick"
Viola knew that her Vivillon is in trouble, if it cannot get out from there, it will be doomed. thankfully the Light Screen is still active.
Julian "Use Thunderbolt"
Porygon aimed at Vivillon and blasted a powerful Thunderbolt at it, the Thunderbolt passed through the light screen and zapped Vivillon, Vivillon felt pain and the water intensified the effect, it was sent rolling on the ground as wet mud latched onto its wings.
Julian "Again, Thunderbolt"
Julian didn't give Vivillon a chance and attacked again, the Thunderbolt hit Vivillon and zapped it hard again, Vivillon was about to collapse but this time it was able to move and tried to fly up.
It flapped its wings and took air but its flight is weak and slow as the damage from the Thunderbolt was apparent.

Julian "Finish it, Thunderbolt"
Porygon blasted one last Thunderbolt, the Thunderbolt passed through the Light Screen and hit Vivillon and this time it was over, Vivillon came crashing on the wet ground with a splat.
The referee looked at Vivillon and called for the result.
Referee "Vivillon is unable to battle, hence the winner of this battle is the challenger"
With the Referee's verdict, the battle ended and Julian's victory was declared, Viola couldn't believe she lost so easily, she knew that she was not weak against Julian's pokemon, she realized that Julian just outsmarted her on both occasions where she went for an attack, turning her momentum into his advantage and winning the battle.
Viola smiled and took out her camera and clicked a picture of Julian and Porygon who doesn't seem to care about its victory at all, it just stood there like a lifeless machine.
Julian sent Porygon back to its Pokeball and looked at Viola who took another picture of him, he didn't mind it as he realized that Viola seems to be a photo maniac.
Viola then approached Julian and handed him the Bug Badge with a smile on her face, she was quite happy as she was able to battle Julian and learn a lot from him, she realized that she needs to work a little on her strategies.
Julian took the badge and looked at it, it was shaped like a small bug with two emerald gems on it, Julian put the badge away in his gym case and bid his farewell to Viola, and headed out of the gym.
Ash and his friends followed right behind him while Alexa stayed behind to talk to her sister.
Outside the gym, Julian was stopped by a very excited Ash and his friends who ran right after him.

Ash "That was an awesome battle, I hope I can beat Viola next time"
Ash said.
Julian "Just do what you have always done, believe in yourself and your pokemon, after all, you are a natural"
Julian said with a smile.
Ash nodded his head and smiled, after talking to Ash and his friends for a few minutes, he bid his farewell and walked away, Ash promised Julian that this time he will meet Julian in the league and defeat him.
Julian just chuckled and walked away waving the back of his hand at them, Alexa who rushed out of the gym was a little disappointed as Julian was already gone, she wanted to talk to Julian about Porygon but hearing Ash telling her that he just left, she was disappointed.
She decided to ask him when they meet next time. If they meet next time.

Julian went back to his hotel room and rested for the day, he treated Flabébé for her hard work while Porygon didn't need anything, Julian then put his focus on his plans for Kalos, he is planning on which pokemon he wants for his team.
Julian opened a map and looked into pokemon hotspots, he wanted to see which pokemons could be found around him right now, he looked into Santalune Forest as it is one of the pokemon hotspots.
He looked into the pokemon population in the forest to figured out which pokemons live there, after looking into the pokemon species that can be found in the forest, he was a little disappointed.
Only one pokemon interested him and that is Fletchling, he knows that they evolve into a Talonflame which is a very fast fire/flying pokemon with equal power all across its stats, it can be a good addition to his team but Julian decided not to catch one.
He decided to catch some other pokemons for his team, he then decided to return to Lumiose city and then head to his next destination.

Carus - Libertas
participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge and also having a go at NaNoWriMo this November. This was a first draft published as it was written for Nanowrimo November 2020. A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.

God Blade (Hiatus)
Theo, a prodigy of sword and an aspiring adventurer, lives in an RPG-like world where everyone has their own level and skill. However, his is a hardcore RPG world where more than half of its human never gets higher than level one. So who is Theo you ask? Was he a ninja trying to be a leader in his hidden village? Was he trying to be a pirate king? Maybe a teenager summoned from another world? A chosen one of the god? A man whose girlfriend is secretly the demon queen? A cook in a journey to make the greatest dish? Or maybe the reincarnation of an ancient Dark Lord? Well, No. Theo is a man born in that world. An NPC you might say. Not only that, he wasn't even the true hero or the main protagonist of his own world. But he does have to meet all those people during his journey to accomplish his dream. ----- 1 chapter every 2 or 3 days. I don't claim the MC of my story to be not cliched. With so many stories on the internet right now, It's almost impossible if not outright impossible to make an original MC. The best I can do is pick the kind of cliched MC I like the most and give it a twist of my own. English is not my first language, so there will be some mistakes in every chapter. Please notify me in the comment if you found one (Or some). I'm still an inexperienced writer, so feedbacks and reviews are very much appreciated.

Blood Blue
Mayevil is a renowned assassin who is known to complete any mission without fault. A hybrid that is ostracized by each of her respective halves. To her peers, she is an enigma as distant as she is powerful, a person they cannot hope to understand or relate to. Yet, while this is how they see her, the reality is that she is simply confused. Without a greater sense of purpose, her day-to-day life repeats itself over and over again. In the hope that she will eventually find joy or meaning, she continues, without so much as understanding why, as much as why not. Encountering noble vampires, powerful martial artists, and haughty mages all the while, her journey will prove to be a difficult one. This story is inspired by the works of Kinoku Nasu, and various martial arts-oriented stories such as Kengan Ashura and The Raid. Expect a mix of magic, comedy and fight scenes, with a sprawling fantastical world. As a side note, while the story starts off relatively tame, there may be some less than wholesome things that happen later on, so do be warned! Hello! Same Crap, Different World
A young man from early 21st century wakes up in a different world. This world is like a typical setting of an fantasy isekai novel. But it is also not. There is magic, alchemy, magical creatures, different non-human races, peasants and nobles, demons and dragons. But there is also politics, persecution, supremacism of every kind, entitlement, slavery and other unpleasant human tendencies. In short, this new world does not differ much from his old one. However, besides him, there may be others who have made such a strange trip, and awakened into this new world. There certainly have been others, in the past. But more than people and other living things, there have been items. All sorts of items, which are regarded as otherworldly artifacts with unknown danger and power. And he himself is an artifact as well, albeit a living one. Therefore he has use for the powers that be. He is also given a role and expectations to fulfill, to hide his real value. And in all that he still has to make sense of what has happened, what is happening, and find a way back, if possible. Author's note: I write this project mostly in (except chapter 1) in 60-100 page (40,000-70,000 word) chapters, edit them as such and later cut them down for publishing into 7-11 page segments (depending on natural breaks in the flow). Therefore, each chapter may be divided into 10-15 subchapters.
