It took Julian a week for him to get back to Lumiose City, when he got back both Chloe and Daisy were really happy to see him, unlike before, they didn't have to wait long to meet him again.
Every time they met before, they would be separated for months but now Julian can come to them whenever he wants and they can go to him whenever they want.
Julian spent a few days with them and finally decided to leave.

Sitting on the bed, he looked at the map of Kalos on his phone and tried to figure out his next destination, Cyllage City, this is his next destination, along the way he plans to catch some new pokemons as well.
He looked at the pokemon species that can be found in route 5 and was not impressed by them, the only pokemon that he looked into was the one called a Pancham, though its final form can be a very strong Physical attacker, Julian was not interested in it.
He then looked into Route 6 to see if he can find an interesting pokemon species and he found one, he wondered if he will be able to find one as the pokemon he is looking for is very hard to find in the wild.
With his future destination planned, Julian bid farewell to Daisy and Chloe by giving them a kiss and saying goodbye for now.
He headed towards the southwest gate of Lumiose city and headed towards Camphrier town as the town is connected to two different routes, one is route six where he plans to catch his next pokemon, and the other route connects to Cyllage city which is his next destination.
Once he was out of the city, he got on his bike and rode towards Camphrier town, after a day of traveling, Julian decided to stop as he entered a bamboo forest.

He could already tell that the forest is very lively as all the bug pokemons are out and beginning their day.
Some night predators are also up and out for the hunt.
Julian found himself a nice open space in the forest and set up a camp with the help of his pokemon, since the sun is already down and the only source of light is from the bright moon in the sky, Julian decided to quickly feed his pokemons and call it an end.
As he set up food for his pokemon, the scent of the food attracted the attention of many pokemon in the forest but none of them dared to get close to Julian because of a certain terrifying aura that was occupying that there.
Julian sat down and drank his coffee directly from his thermos and watched his pokemons eat their dinner but to his surprise, two tiny pokemons suddenly showed up, he looked at the two little pokemons who looked at him curiously with their big black eyes.
These two pokemons are Panchams.
Julian 'These two are quite brave, even after sensing Gengar's presence they decided to show up.'
Julian thoughts.
He noticed that the Panchams are looking at the food his pokemons are eating, Julian decided to feed them as he has some extra food, he took out two plates and filled them to the brim, and gave it to the two Panchams.
The Panchams didn't even think twice before digging into the bowl and finished the whole thing within a few minutes, once they were done, they just ran away.
Julian was speechless by seeing how shameless the two pokemon were, this caused him to laugh and continue with the night, once his pokemons were done eating, he sent them back into their Pokeball and went to sleep.

With Gengar on the lookout, Julian has nothing to worry about.

The next morning Julian woke up as he heard rustles outside his tent, since he was about to wake up anyways, the noise woke him up.
He opened his eyes and walked outside and looked around but he couldn't find anything but something suddenly caught his attention.
He looked at the tree that is right next to his tent carefully, even though he couldn't see anything, he could feel something is there on the tree and is trying its best to hide from him.
He got closer and carefully looked at the tree and he was finally able to see through its camouflage, Julian was surprised as he looked at the weird thing, it looked like a squished-up jelly but with eyes, it also seems to have a hexagon pattern on it.
Julian "Is this a pokemon?"
Julian asked the system
He has never seen or even heard of something like this before, this squished-up thing was still trying its best to maintain its camouflage so Julian couldn't tell its exact color but he could make out its shape.
System [It is just a part of a pokemon, an individual cell]
The system replied.
Hearing the system's answer, Julian was surprised, this thing is not a pokemon but a single cell.
Julian 'Which pokemon is it from?'
Julian asked.
System 'I think the host should find out about it himself'
The system answered.
Since the day the system had evolved, it had become more sentient and sometimes didn't answer Julian's questions if it believed Julian could figure it out himself.
Julian 'Fine'
He thought and sighed, he then grabbed the tail-like part of the cell and pulled it off the tree, the cell struggled as it realized that it has been found but it was too late, Julian already caught it.
Julian was finally able to see it properly, it is green in color, with weird-shaped eyes.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
