The world was not in chaos, he looked at the sightings of legendary pokemon in the past and they seem to have appeared but they calmed down as well.

As for the fight between Dialga and Palkia, it seems like everything was restored back to how it was after the city was damaged by them battling against each other. As for Giratina, there seems to be no sighting of Giratina at all, nobody seems to have noticed it but there was no catastrophe that took place.

With nothing so different about this world other than the catastrophe which could have happened, played out a little different from the original world.
