Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 1031

Ramos's Jumpluff landed on the ground and bounced multiple times before finally coming to a stop, as it has very high special defense and resistance to water-type moves so the damage was minimal.
Once Jumpluff got back to its feet, Ramos went on the attack again, with Julian's Clauncher paralyzed now, he has a better chance of getting massive hits on Julian's pokemon.
Ramos "Use Leech Seed"
Jumpluff shot a small green seed at Clauncher to entrap him in Leech Seed, once this seed attaches to Clauncher, it will slowly drain his energy and feed it to Jumpluff and heal it.
Julian "Use Water Gun"
Julian commanded. Clauncher tried to shoot Water Gun but Paralysis suddenly hit and he froze on spot.
Julian "Use Water Gun"
Julian commanded again, if it was not going to work once, he will do it again, Paralysis won't affect every time Clauncher moves, just within a second Clauncher used Water Gun two times and it failed both times, as the seed got near Clauncher Julian called for another move.
Julian "Use Protect"
Julian didn't know if this would work but the probability of it working is very high since Clauncher failed the first two times.
And as Julian predicted Clauncher was able to use Protect successfully and block the Leech Seed from latching onto him.
Julian "Now Scald"
Julian didn't know if this would work or Paralysis will take its grip but luckily for Julian, Clauncher was able to perform his move again, he blasted a scalding hot burst of water at Jumpluff.
It was a calculated shot, since Jumpluff was jumping in one spot for quite a while Clauncher was predicting when it will jump again, and now that Julian commanded and he could move, he predicted where Jumpluff will be the moment his attack will make contact.

The Scald hit Jumpluff and sent it flying again, Ramos was surprised by this, he didn't expect the Clauncher would be able to hit his Jumpluff from such a long distance, his Jumpluff was continuously jumping so hitting it would be very hard but Clauncher did it anyways.
While Ramos was impressed by Clauncher, Julian wanted to see if Scald put any extra effect on Jumpluff, and to his luck it did, as soon as Jumpluff hit the ground and bounced in the air, its body got engulfed by fire for a second.
Burn has taken effect, Julian wanted just this, now that Burn is in effect, Jumpluff cannot do anything but wait till its health is reduced and it gets knocked out.
Ramos stroked his beard and started to think of another way to counter Julian, since Paralysis is still in effect, Ramos went for another attack.
Ramos "Use Aerial Ace"
Jumpluff ignored the pain from the burn and shot towards Clauncher at full speed, its figure blurred midway and it suddenly appeared in front of Clauncher.
Julian "Use Protect"
Julian commanded. Clauncher tried to put up a force field in front of him but Paralysis hit and he froze, Jumpluff was able to land the Aerial Ace and sent Clauncher rolling on the ground.
Jumpluff bounced back and hit the ground and flames flared up around it again burning it for a second, reducing its health even more.
Clauncher doesn't have a great defense but it was enough to tank that Aerial Ace.
Julian "Let's finish this, use Sludge Bomb"
With Jumpluff injured, this was the best time to attack, Julian just hoped that Paralysis doesn't take effect again.
Clauncher lifted his bigger claw and tried to use Sludge Bomb but once again Paralysis hit causing him to freeze on spot, Julian clicked his tongue as this Paralysis was very annoying, it was affecting Clauncher more than it should.

It looks like the Stun Spore was really potent.
Ramos "Use Acrobatics"
Ramos saw his opening and called his shot, Acrobatics is a very powerful flying-type move, the power of the move will decrease if the user is heavy, the heavier the user the less attack power it has. (A/N - I changed how Acrobatics work, in the description, it is stated at the power of the move doubles if the pokemon isn't holding any item. Since it is somehow related to the extra weight of the item, I decided to make it so that the lighter the pokemon, the stronger the impact)
Jumpluff jumped high up in the air and shot at Clauncher while spinning and doing flips in the air, increasing the power of the move by every flip and spin, the flying energy was getting thicker and more concentrated around it.
Julian knew that it's now or never and his win will depend on luck, if Paralysis hits again, he might lose and if it doesn't he might be able to change the outcome of this battle.
Julian "Use Crab Hammer"
Julian commanded.
As Jumpluff got closer to him, Clauncher lifted his bigger claw, Julian kept his focus on the battle and hoped the Paralysis won't take effect and his hope became reality, Paralysis had already hit him twice before so it didn't affect Clauncher again.
He lifted his claw with full power, concentrating all his energy in his bigger claw, once he maxed it out, he punched right at the incoming Jumpluff.
The collision was massive, the shockwave that was created even shook the main branches of the tree they are battling on.
Jumpluff shot out of the smoke created by the explosion leaving a trail of smoke behind it, it crashed on the ground and was out cold, it got knocked out, now they had to wait to see if Clauncher is still conscious or not.
As the smoke disappeared, everyone could see that Clauncher was barely holding onto it as well, seeing this, Julian smiled.
Referee "Jumpluff is unable to battle, Clauncher wins"

Black Blood (Dropped...)
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? When being reincarnated there are some things that you just cant control. Losing most of your memories is not a great start. Pissing off your patron goddess is not a good follow up. Rounding that out with reincarnating as something not exactly… human… Needless to say this guy is in for an interesting life. the gaang and the fandom
Main cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender react to stuff on the internet about them and their futures. Hilarity ensues. And it's nothing serious. (Most of the time)Kataang, as always.Suggestions are always welcome because I need ideas and I have school.-Why does this remind me of those gacha life avatar videos on Youtube hsihidfvjfbvireuhfnibrahahjajakdnfjnkIt's also pretty funny, because now I see a bunch of similar fics pop up on here - and it's sort of cool to think I created a trend, not to sound too full of myself. All stuff included in here belong to their rightful owners, and I will always try to credit.

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
