"Either love or guilt, but one thing for sure, you are the first woman who made me want to marry you. That wish, I had long before the incident happened."

Brian's answer surprised Elise. The first woman Brian wanted to marry her. Elise smiled, although Brian couldn't say whether it was love or guilt, but Elise at least knew that she was a very special woman in Brian's life. And that label stuck with Elise long before she experienced that terrible incident.

"Thank you." A single tear fell down Elise's smooth cheek.

"Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for all the love, attention and affection you have given me so far. And Thank you for being the oxygen in my life." Elise's tears were getting heavier as she spoke.

Seeing how Elise was crying and the woman's words, made Brian sad and reached out his hand to wipe Elise's tears. But that didn't stop Elise's tears from continuing to flow.

"Thank you for keeping your promise not to leave me. Even though the decision hurts yourself." Elise's eyes locked onto Brian's.

"Elise." Call Brian.

"I know you must be hurt and miserable because you can't break the promise you made. You must be suffering, you can't struggling your love for Elena."

"Elise, I ...." Brian's speech stopped because Elise stopped him from speaking.

"Let me give you happiness this time, Brian. I will give in for the sake of our happiness. I will divorce you." Elise's words made Brian look at the woman with a worried and anxious face.

"But elise, you ..."

"Don't worry. I can't possibly stay dependent and use my trauma as an excuse to tie you with me. I have to face and suppress the trauma myself. And I'm sure I can do that." Elise smiled to reassure Brian that she would be okay.

"Are you sure of your decision?" Brian asked, staring closely at Elise's beaded eyes. As if he wanted to find the truth behind Elise's eyes. If he found the slightest bit of anxiety or fear in Elise's eyes, Brian would refuse to agree the divorce. But Elise's eyes stared at Brian intensely, aware that Brian was watching her reaction and looking for honesty in her eyes.

"Yes, I am sure. And I will process our divorce asap." Said Elise with a clench left hand behind her back.

"Immediately? Why?" Brian's forehead frowned.

"I'm planning to start a new life abroad with Diana."

"Going abroad? What if your trauma comes back?" Brian asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Again Elise smiled to reassure Brian.

"Fine, if that's the decision you make. I'll call the lawyer to file our divorce." Brian replied approving of Elise's decision.

"Yes, thank you." Elise smiled once again and stared intently at Brian's face. She finally made the decision to divorce Brian. Elise was relieved that she had finally fulfilled her promise to Rena. But there was one corner of her heart that still felt fear and anxiety. But Elise suppresses those feelings to make Brian agree to a divorce with her.

Without the two of them knowing it, Yanti stood behind the wall near the living room. The middle-aged woman listened to Elise and Brian's serious conversation. She even heard from the start of their conversation.

So, Elise and Brian will divorce. Yanti never imagined that would happen. She thought Elise would continue to maintain her marriage with Brian. Even though Yanti is just a maid in Brian's mansion. But she is quite close and familiar with everyone.

Brian loves Elena. This fact made Yanti realize why Brian's attitude towards Elise was so different and so changed from before.

Yanti is not surprised if Rena's last request is a divorce from Elise and Brian, because Rena often said that she would unite Dean with her two biological parents in front of the fat baby. But, can Brian and Elena be together. Even though now Brian and Elise are divorced and that man can struggling his love for Elena. But tomorrow is Elena's wedding day. If Elena is married and become another man's wife, then there will be no chance for Brian to fight for his love.

Yanti felt a dilemma. Should she tell Brian about Elena's wedding tomorrow or not. Yanti had promised Elena not to tell Brian or Elise about her marriage. But Yanti also wants Dean to have a whole family, with his biological father and mother raising and caring for him. Yanti is really dizzy and doesn't know what to do. It seems that tonight Yanti will not be able to sleep thinking about what decision she should make.

As Yanti expected, last night she couldn't sleep. Dark circles formed under her eyes as she got up in the morning to make breakfast. Yanti still don't know what to do. Today is Elena and Diego's wedding day. But she still hasn't decided to tell or keep it a secret from Brian or Elise. So, Yanti was daydreaming when Elise entered the kitchen.

"Morning, Aunty." said Elise. Elise's eyes looked swollen from crying last night. After she finished talking to Brian. Elise immediately decided to move rooms, not sleeping in the main room anymore with Brian. So, she slept in the guest room last night. And there she again shed her sobs. Elise promised that last night was the last time she cried over her separation from Brian. Because next, whatever happens, she must be strong, strong and eager to achieve her own happiness. As Diana said, happiness doesn't only come from other people, but we can also be happy by doing the things we love. So, Elise treats herself to always think positively. That way, the trauma will never recur.

Elise saw Yanti, who was silent, did not answer her greeting.

"Aunty." Called Elise by tapping Yanti's shoulder. This suddenly made Yanti's body jump in shock and her heart beat fast. Yanti turned and saw Elise who was standing on the side.

"Eh Madame, what's wrong?" Asked Yanti confused.
