The next day.

"So how was it? How do you find my brother-cousin?" Ho Min Lin asked Tan Ja Nin over the phone.

It was 8 in the morning and she can't wait to know what happened on their dinner date.

Tan Ja Nin yawned and was annoyed. The call from Min Lin woke her up "You called me at 8AM just to ask me that? Min Lin, today is Sunday, let me sleep more"

"You're such a KJ!"

"...."

"Kill Joy!"

"KJ it is! Bye now!"

"Wait, I have something to tell you."

"About what?"

"Your dress, the one that you lent me. It was broken." Ho Min Lin said nervously.

"Okay!" Said Tan Ja Nin in a relax tone.

"You're not mad?"

"It just a dress, it can still be replaced."

"You're right. Just like a man. You can always replace Yan Mor Tee in your heart right?"

Tan Ja Nin pulled herself up and leaned on the bed headrest.

"Stop your worries okay? I'm not going to be in between Song Dei Si and Yan Mor Tee anymore. But don't push me to another guy just to forget Yan Mor Tee. Your brother-cousin is okay you know, but let me love myself more this time."

Self love. That was all she wanted to have for now.

Ho Min Lin took a deep sigh and was apologetic as she said "You're right, learn to love yourself more. I'm sorry I am being a nuisance."

"You're not. You are just doing this for our sake, but I'm okay, really!"

"Okay, I'm not gonna push you to my brother-cousin anymore. Let's have a coffee with Song Dei Si later."

"Sure coz I might get busy on the following days."

"Why? What are you up to?"

"I'll share with you later. Text me what time and where are we going to meet, I'll go back to sleep. Bye for now."

Song Dei Si received a text message from Ho Min Lin. She was inviting her for a coffee with Tan Ja Nin.

She smiled. Ho Min Lin was really trying her best to patch things up between her and Tan Ja Nin. She always create an opportunity for them to bond and cement their friendship again.

She was so lucky to have a bestfriend like Min Lin. She was always fair and did not side either her or Tan Ja Nin.

She put down her phone on the bedside table and embraced the man lying on the bed next to her.

It was really a good Sunday morning.

"Hubby!"

"Uhm"

"I'm going to see Ho Min Lin and Tan Ja Nin later for a coffee."

"Okay."

"But can we attend the mass first before I head off to the Brooks Cafe? I have a lot to be thankful for"

Yan Mor Tee looked at his wife and smiled.

"Are you happy?"

"I am."

Yan Mor Tee kissed her forehead.

"Later when we attend the mass, can you ask God for something?"

"Do you want something so bad?" Song Dei Si asked him.

"Yes! Pray for a divine intervention for my mom." Yan Mor Tee was serious when he said that.

"...."

"So that she could get back to her senses and start realizing how lucky she is for having you as her daughter-in-law"

She looked at Yan Mor Tee and got teary eyed.

"I'm sorry that it gave you worries that me and mom doesn't have a good relationship yet."

Yan Mor Tee hugged her tightly.

"I am the one who feel sorry because mom always gives you a hardtime here. Do you think it's about time to live on our own now?"

Song Dei Si was astounded. She pulled away from his embrace.

"Don't you think your mom will gonna hate me more if I take you away from her and she will not see her handsome son everyday?"

Yan Mor Tee pondered what she have said "But..."

"Let's stay here for a while. Don't worry about me"

"Okay then." Yan Mor Tee agreed.

"Have you lost your confidence in me? Don't you know that I was someone that was so easy to love? You of all people should know that!"

Yan Mor Tee hissed on his gloating wife and he pinched her on the nose.

"So can I show how much I love you now?" Said Yan Mor Tee, his gaze became hazy.

He pulled the quilt and start kissing his wife passionately underneath the cover.

Song Dei Si and Yan Mor Tee got up after 30 minutes and saw Master Yan all dressed up at the living room.

"Dad, where are you going?" Yan Mor Tee asked.

"I have a Sunday date!" Master Yan winked at his son.

Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si looked at each other then smiled.

"And where is your date then?" Yan Mor Tee started interrogating.

"Still at the make up room fixing herself!" Said Master Yan and laughed.

"So where are you planning to bring your date?"

"I planned to bring here to a place where there's only me and her"

"What the needs of going out then? You can just stay inside your bedroom if you want privacy!"

Master Yan hissed. "This is the first time I am going out on a date with your mother!"

"Woah! So make it memorable then!"

Yan Mor Tee laughed and saw his mother walking down the stairs.

"What nonsense does your father spouting? We we're just going to visit dad!" Said Madam Yan.

Yan Mor Tee laughed histerically. "Going to the place where there only you and mom huh?"

Master Yan put his hand on his head and scratched it.

Yan Mor Tee looked at his mom and she was also all dolled-up.

"Are you sure, you two are just going to visit pops?" Said Yan Mor Tee, teasing his parents.

Madam Yan blushed.

"We will be back after dinner time so don't wait for us." Master Yan said and put his arms around Madam Yan's shoulder.

"Sad life. I will be left alone here then." Yan Mor Tee said. "I should call Tan Ji Nan and Lee Jin Ho and ask them to play basketball later!"

"Why? Where will your wife go?" Asked Master Yan.

"She's going to meet Ho Min Lin and Tan Ja Nin later for a coffee date."

"Why don't you join her then?" Madam Yan suggested.

"It's a girl bonding!"

Madam Yan did not say anything further but was surprised to know that Song Dei Si and Tan Ja Nin was getting along well.

"We'll head off first!" Master Yan said.

"Enjoy your date!"

"It's not a date!" Said Madam Yan who was still in denial.

Yan Mor Tee shrugged his shoulder.

"Please give our regards to pops. Tell him we're going to visit him next week."

Madam Yan nodded, she looked at Song Dei Si who was quiet the whole time. Song Dei smiled and nodded at Madam Yan as a sign of respect.

Madam Yan did not return back the smile and looked at Yan Mor Tee."That old man wanted to see your wife again. Please don't forget to pay him a visit next week."

"Sure thing!"

Later in the aftenoon, Yan Mor Tee dropped Song Dei Si at the Brooks Cafe after they have attended the Sunday mass.

"Are you sure, you wont come in first just to say hello to them?" Song Dei said while unbuckling her seatbelt.

"No need, Tan Ji Nan texted me and they are already at the gym. Just extend my regards to them. I'll just pick you up later."

Song Dei Si nodded and alighted from the car. Yan Mor Tee pulled the car window down and reached out to her and gave her a peck on the lips.

"Enjoy!"

She nodded and waived her hand while Yan Mor Tee's car started to leave the place.

Tan Ja Nin arrived at the place and parked her car at the sidestreet near Brooks Cafe. She saw Yan Mot Tee's car in front of the Brooks Cafe so she did not alighted from her car yet. She witnessed the sweet little goodbye kiss that Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei has shared.

She bowed her head.

She will get used to it.

She took a deep sigh and alighted from her car when Yan Mor Tee has driven away.

She called out Song Dei Si.

Song Dei Si turned around and saw Tan Ja Nin approaching her.

She greeted her with a kiss on the cheek.

"I thought I will be late then, I just visited the studio first before heading here. Good thing, I just came in at the same time with you."

"Yeah, I'm also late because we've attended the Sunday mass first."

"I see. Do you think Ho Min Lin was already inside."

"I doubt it! She always made the grand entrance" said Song Dei Si.

Both of them laughed as they knew that Ho Min Lin was always late.

Tan Ja Nin hooked her arms around Song Dei Si's and they went inside the Brooks Cafe together.
