Tan Ji Nan and Ho Min Lin's bodies fell into the bed together. Tan Ji Nan's was still holding Ho Min Lin. He gave her softly and tiny kisses on her face.

"What now?" Ho Min Lin asked as she waits for Tan Ji Nan's next move. She knew that Tan Ji Nan has promised her that they will not do the deed before marriage but whenever they were in a situation like this she felt nervous. It wasn't because she doesn't trust Tan Ji Nan but she was afraid that her ownself will betray her.

"Let's sleep for awhile before we go out tonight" Tan Ji Nan said as he started to close his eyes.

She looked at Tan Ji Nan's face and there was a sign of exhaustion. Why didn't she notice it these last few days? As his girlfriend, whenever they were together, she never did ask him how he was doing. In most cases she always demanded Ji Nan to meet her after work.

"How's work?" She asked.

"Tiring! Most of my Dad's tasks are now gradually been transitioned to me" Tan Ji Nan's replied. He was being groomed by Master Tan to be the next CEO and President of Tan's Group of companies since his father was planning to retire by the end of the year.

"Are you ready to take on the position?" She softly asked.

"Ready or not, I don't have a choice"

"You can do it babe" She said trying to comfort him.

"Uhm" Tan Ji Nan softly answered. He felt so frustrated these last few days because he always wanted to propose to Ho Min Lin, but with his current state, he can't afford to get married now. He couldn't give Ho Min Lin the attention of a great husband that she truly deserve. He needs to establish himself first to be the next CEO and President of Tan's Group of Companies. His father is getting old and he must step up soon. Yan Mor Tee has already proven his worth as the CEO for Yan Enterprise for several years now. Lee Jin Ho has already taken over the President seat of their family's businesses two months ago and was doing quite well too. Lu Jiaosheng even if he acted as someone who doesn't care about his future has already established a company of his own too. In their group, he was the only one who doesn't prove his own worth yet.

"Babe, always remember that I am proud of who you are...Life is not a race, don't ever think that because you haven't fully taken over the leadership of Tan's group of companies, you are far behind. Always believe on the perfect timing."

Ho Min Lin's soft voice soothed his weary soul. He pulled her tightly and kissed her forehead.

"I think you deserve a reward tonight." Ho Min Lin said in a low voice.

"Babe, you mean?" Tan Ji Nan said and his pupils almost popped out due to excitement.

"I'm giving you unlimited hug. I'll be sleeping in your bed tonight."

"How about unlimited kiss too?" Tan Ji Nan said.

"You..." Ho Min Lin gave him a daggers look.

Tan Ji Nan laughed. Thou he was expecting more than hugging and kissing he was quite pleased with his reward. He always felt peace whenever Ho Min Lin was at his embrace.

Minutes later, they both fell asleep into each other's embrace.

Tan Ja Nin was walking at the lobby when she saw Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si who was walking towards the exit of the hotel too. Tan Ja Nin was stunned to see them and her gaze automatically fell into their hands that were holding each other. Good thing, the Yan's couple did not see her so she made an abrupt stop and seated in the nearby couch in the lobby and waited for Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si to exit the hotel before she slowly walked towards to the exit too.

She cannot understand herself, she was still not comfortable everytime she saw Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si together. There was still a bit pain inside her heart.

"Does it still hurts?" A voice from behind asked her that made her heart almost jumped out of her chest due to his surprise appearance.

She doesn't need to turn her head to see who owns that voice. She continued walking to the exit door.

The man from behind keep up to her speed and walked beside her.

"Where are you going?" Lee Jin Ho asked.

"I'll be looking for a nearby milktea shop." She answered.

"I see"

Tan Ja Nin walked to the right upon exit and was surprised when Lee Jin Ho walked to the same direction.

"Where are you going?" She curiously asked.

"Looking for a milktea shop too." He casually answered.

She raised her brows. What a coincidence? She wanted to question him but decided not to and just continued walking. Since it was Friday, there were many people walking at the street and she almost bumped into someone if Lee Jin Ho wasn't fast enough to block the man who was walking rushly and carelessly. He pulled her into his embrace trying to protect her.

She looked at Lee Jin Ho who was seriously trying to cover her while they were walking in the crowded street. Her heart started to thump fast. She became unaware of her surroundings and all she could see on that moment was Lee Jin Ho. She realized how handsome Lee Jin Ho was even at a close promiximity. Those male celebrities she met at YH entertainment could not even match to his handsome features. With Lee Jin Ho around, she felt so protected. She was mesmerized and could hear the sudden changes on her heartbeat and she was alarmed.

She slightly pushed him away because she was afraid of the sudden heartbeat that she was feeling right at that very moment.

She could not possibly like Lee Jin Ho?

She may be attracted to him physically because there was no doubt oozingly handsome.

She could be possibly uncomfortable whenever he was around because she was too shy to admit to herself that she has given herself to someone she doesn't have relationship with. Whenever she saw him, she was always reminded how silly she was that night.

But that heartbeat. It was somewhat felt strange.

It was the same heartbeat she felt when she fell in love with Yan Mor Tee before.

It couldn't be....

Lee Jin Ho was astounded on her sudden push and looked at her, his eyes were looking deeply into her as if he wanted to know her innermost soul. She bowed her head. After awhile she felt that Lee Jin Ho has started distancing himself to her. She looked at the sorrounding and was glad when she saw a Milk Tea house. She hurriedly walked inside the Milk Tea shop without looking at Lee Jin Ho. She wanted to run away from him. Will Lee Jin Ho follow her? She wanted to look back but she can't bring herself to. She directly went to the counter and she was stammering when she ordered her favorite okinawa milktea. Her heartbeat hasn't back to normal yet. After she got her milktea and turned around to sit at the available table, she couldn't see Lee Jin Ho inside the milktea house. She suddenly felt sad. Where did he go?

Lee Jin Ho was still standing from the big crowd and did not follow her because he felt that he was pushing himself too hard to Tan Ja Nin. It was obvious that she didn't like him because she still can't get over with Yan Mor Tee. He saw the hurt that has registered on her beautiful face earlier when she saw Yan Mor Tee and Song Dei Si walking holding each hands. She even stopped at the lobby and waited until the couple's figures disappeared from her sight. She still can't bear to see them together. She loves Yan Mor Tee so much that even if he was the first man who took her first time he wasn't the first man who took his heart away. He hasn't started the battle to win Tan Ja Nin's heart yet but he felt that he already lost again to Yan Mor Tee.

He had thought before going to Hong Kong that because they were both single now and something special had already happened between them, it might possible for them to be together and he will ask her to be his girlfriend. He was already 26 years old. He was at the point of his life that he also wanted to settle down and start his own family. He knew that he was physically attractive to Tan Ja Nin now. He always love to see her beautiful face and he thought that Tan Ja Nin could be the next woman he could possibly fell in love with. But it seems that he wasn't the right woman for him too.

He sighed. He took another look at Tan Ja Nin who quietly seated inside the milktea house before he left and began walking around the street of Causeway Bay.
