Lee Jin Ho almost sneered but he tried to keep his temper not to flare up and let Tan Ja Nin speaks what's on her mind.

"I said, I can succeed on this business without the help of my family's connection, so just when I thought that I finally got that one chance to prove that I can do it on my own, that's when the time that I knew that I cannot get off with that favor meant to be given to the Tan's Young Miss" Tan Ja Nin said with too much frustration on her voice.

"Do you really think you got the offer because you are Tan Ji Nan's twin sister? That I favor you over those big celeberities because you are my friend's sister?" Lee Jin Ho asked bitterly.

"I can't think of any other reason..." Tan Ja Nin said, she looked at Lee Jin Ho and she saw fury on his eyes.

"You really doesn't know what's your truly worth." Lee Jin Ho said as he took a deep sigh. There's no point of telling her the truth right now, because this woman in front of her was such close-minded person. If he was going tell her the real reason, this woman surely will not believe him. "Do you really mean it? Do you really doesn't want to accept our offer?"

Tan Ja Nin looked at him as she spoke. "Yes"

Lee Jin Ho looked at her and slowly nodded. He was expecting that response from her anyway with the way she was talking to him.

"I know I've got swayed with my emotions earlier. I was selfish when I rejected it. I never consider what my manager could have felt when I turned down your offer. I believe in her hard work but I know that her hardwork wasn't the main reason why I got the offer. It was simply because I am your friend's sister. Who would be on his sane mind to offer a 10 million yuan to someone who have never prove her own worth yet if not for my family's connection?" Tan Ja Nin said trying to mock him.

Lee Jin Ho nodded. Yes, maybe he was insane for believing that Tan Ja Nin was the best fit to endorse their new product.

"Maybe you're right! I may not be on my sane mind when I have chosen you to be our product endorser. I might have consider your suggestion tho. To go for a big shot celebrities whom for sure can help introduce our new product." He said in a very composed manner and stood up "I guess I should take my leave now."

Tan Ja Nin got startled "I thought you want to talk to me about something..."

Lee Jin Ho looked at her smiled painfully. "There's no point because you have already decided. I wish you goodluck on your journey to stardom." He said and strode off hurriedly towards the door.

Tan Ja Nin was left dumbfounded. Why does she have a feeling that she will never see Lee Jin Ho again?

A minute after Lee Jin Ho left her apartment her phone rang. It was Tan Ji Nan on the other line.

"Hello, brother!"

"Tan Ja Nin, I've heard from Lee Jin Ho that you've rejected the endorsement offer from his company. Why is it so?"

"Why would I accept the offer when I knew that I only got it because of me?"

"Me?" Tan Ji Nan asked. He was puzzled why suddenly his name was dragged on this.

"Didn't you ask him a favor to consider me to be the endorser for their product?"

"I didn't ask him for anything."

"But how did you know that I will be signing a contract with him then?" Tan Ja Nin wasn't convinced that his brother has nothing to do with it.

"It was because he excitedly told me that he wanted to get you to endorse their new product because you are the perfect fit. They are planning to market their new mobile phone product for its sophistication, excitement and ruggedness and you possess those three. He said as he mainly put it which I agree, that you have that charm that can captivate viewers. As a new face you will create excitement into the viewers to know you more. And lastly, you have that ruggedness personality that eventhough you are just a newbie in the industry, you have tough demeanor which could not be easily broken"

As Tan Ja Nin listened to her brother's word, she cannot breathe because she knew that she have done something wrong just a few minutes ago.

"So Ja Nin what on earth..." before Tan Ji Nan could finish chiding her, she ended the call and run towards to the door.

But when she opened the door and went to talk to Lee Jin Ho, he had already drove his Bentley away. She opened her phone and dialled Lee Jin Ho's number. It was ringing but he never picked it up.

She tried to call again but his phone was already turned off.

She laughed and cried insanely and chided herself.

Tan Ja Nin tried to call Lee Jin Ho again the next day but his phone was still off. She decided to go to Sunshinati's office to talk to him.

"Do you have an appointment with the President, Miss?" The receptionist at the ground floor asked her.

"None."

"I am sorry Miss, since you don't have an appointment with him, we cannot let you in"

Tan Ja Nin took a sigh. "Can you connect me to his PA instead please?

The receptionist furrowed her brows.

"I wanted to talk to him so I can set an appointment with the President."

The receptionist was hesitant to connect her to PA Jin but decided to dial the number at the Secretariat Office. She talked to PA Jin. "PA Jin someone is here at the reception and she wanted to talk to you"

Tan Ja Nin looked at the receptionist as she was speaking with PA Jin.

"May I ask for your name Miss?" The receptionist asked her after few seconds.

"Tan Ja Nin!" She politely answered.

The receptionist nodded and talked to PA Jin again. "She said her name is Tan Ja Nin and she wanted to have an appointment with the President."

Tan Ja Nin waited and was happy when PA Jin talked to her.

"PA Jin, this is Tan Ja Nin, I wanted to talk to President Lee and would it be okay if you help me set an appointment with him."

"I'm afraid, he won't be available in the new few days. He went on a vacation and has an indefinite return date yet."

"I see." Tan Ja Nin extremely felt sad with PA Jins news.

"Can you schedule me once he came back?" She said.

"Sure Ms. Tan" said PA Jin and took a deep sigh when he ended the call. The truth was Lee Jin Ho has advised him before he went to indefinite leave not to entertain any call from Tan Ja Nin moving forward.

He just can't help but to talk to her today because he thought that Tan Ja Nin was still the perfect endorser for their product. But it seems that his boss has given up on her and doesn't even want to talk to her moving forward. It seems like his boss has seethed an anger towards Ms. Tan.

Tan Ja Nin just stayed into her apartment on the next three days. She was punishing herself because of the stupid thing she had done. She had missed out her workshop classes for three consecutive days so Manager Mo was furious. She came into her apartment and banged her door.

"Tan Ja Nin, open the door! I know you are there!" Manager Mo said furiously as she banged the door.

Tan Ja Nin heard her manager's angry voice but she doesn't want to get up to open the door for her.

"Tan Ja Nin, if you don't open this door in one minute, I'll be looking for someone to wreck it!" Said Manager Mo. "I'm not kidding! We've already lost the endorsement offer from Sunshinati and now you're not attending the acting workshop that I have arranged for you. We've lost a million bucks of endorsement and now you're losing the opportunity to hone your skills. I really don't know what am I going to do with you. Open the door and let's talk."

Manager Mo has started counting and have down to 10 but Tan Ja Nin still didn't open the door.

Manager Mo had already lost her temper. "Tan Ja Nin, I'm done with you. I'm cutting off our Manager-Artist relationship now! I don't want to manage an artist as hard-headed as you anymore. From now on, start looking for a new manager because I won't mana..."

Tan Ja Nin opened the door with tears on her eyes. "I'm sorry Manager Mo!"

Manager Mo looked at Tan Ja Nin and her anger has dissipated when she saw her pale face. The woman who was crying in front of her has almost lost all her blood on her face. She looks so weak and vurnerable.
