Crashing Into You Chapter 247

Master Yan came to Yan High School that afternoon to pick up his wife.
"Did you bring a car?" He asked Song Dei Si while she was tidying up her things. Mr. Chan and Ms. Ju already went home.
"Yes, Dad!" Song Dei Si answered.
"Why don't we eat out tonight for dinner? It's been awhile since we dine out." Master Yan suggested. "Do you have anything to do after this?" He asked Song Dei Si.
"I don't have any plans aside from going home." Song Dei Si answered.
"Great! Kindly call your husband and tell him to meet us to the restaurant of your choice. It's my treat!" Master Yan nodded.
Song Dei Si smiled and dialled her husband number.
Yan Mor Tee was on the day to the mansion when he received the call.
"Yes, XiaoSi?"
"Where you at?" Song Dei Si asked.
"I'm driving right now and I'm on the way to our home."
"Dad is inviting us for a dinner tonight. Please meet us at The Porch. We're about to leave the office now."
Yan Mor Tee looked at the time on his dashboard and it was 5:30 in the afternoon. The Porch was near Yan High School and he would reach the place before 6 evening.
"Okay! See You!"
It was just a 15-min drive from Yan High School to The Porch restaurant. However when they were about to come inside, the waitress near the entrance door asked them if they have a reservation.
"Nope, we don't have a reservation. We're just walk-in customers." Song Dei Si said.
"My apologies Miss but our restaurant is almost jam-packed tonight so we are giving priority seats to those who has reservation"
Song Dei Si was quite disappointed when she heard that. She loves eating at the Porch restaurant because the meats that they were offering were all organics and she meticulously picked this up to ensure that her in-laws will be eating healthy foods.
She turned around to her in-laws and apologized. "I'm sorry Dad and Mom but I guess we need to find a new restaurant as they could not accomodate us tonight. I love this restaurant thou because all the meats that they are offering are organics" She said.
Master Yan looked inside and they were still available seats, maybe those were reserved for people who made their reservation first.

"I love this restaurant too, all the meats were came from the owner's poultry farm which is located at nearby province. They transport the fresh meat at early morning from the farm to the city" Madam Yan said.
"Until what time do you consider a No Show from the customer who made their reservation?" Master Yan asked.
"Until 6:30 in the evening Sir. If they did not come on or before 6:30, we will give the seats to other chance customers"
"Are you willing to wait until 6:30?" Master Yan asked the two ladies.
"No problem with me, since your son hasn't arrived yet." Madam Yan answered.
Song Dei Si smiled and admired her in-laws humility. She didn't expect that given their status they were still willing to wait even if the chance was just 50/50.
"We will wait." Song Dei Si said to the waitress.
The waitress politely nodded and told them to seat at the waiting area. The three of them politely followed the waitress instruction.
It was around 6:10 in the evening when Yan Mor Tee arrived at the place. He was surprised to see his family waiting outside the restaurant.
"Why are you still here outside?" Yan Mor Tee asked.
"This restaurant cannot accomodate us because we do not have a reservation. However we're taking our chances that people who reserves will not come before 6:30 in the evening so we can take their seats." Song Dei Si answered.
"Why don't we look around for another restaurant if this restaurant is jam-packed today?" Yan Mor Tee answered.
"Your mom and your wife love to eat here. So let just wait until 6:30 in the evening" Master Yan said.
"But our chances is 50/50. Why don't we look for the another restaurant tonight and then we will make a reservation to eat to this restaurant some other day?" Yan Mor Tee suggested.
Master Yan hissed. "You didn't know how to dote on your woman. If she said that she wanted to eat at this restaurant we will eat at this restaurant even if our chance is just 50/50"
Song Dei Si looked at Yan Mor Tee and her gaze was telling him that she was willing to wait.
"Okay then" Yan Mor Tee could not help but sat beside Song Dei Si.
They have waited until 6:30 in the evening. At exactly 6:35 in the evening, the waitress approached them and said "Apologies, but our customers who reserved their seats were able to come in time, so it is unfortunate that we really cannot accomodate you tonight!"

Song Dei Si' face fell. "Okay, thank you Miss!" She said and stood up as she talked to her in-laws.
"Apologies, mom and dad but we need to look for another restaurant now..."
"Should be okay.." Master Yan said and stood up too. He helped Madam Yan as she stood up.
They were about to leave the restaurant when someone called Song Dei Si's name.
"Song Dei Si?"
All of them looked at the man who was walking towards Song Dei Si.
"Master Chef Li?!" Song Dei Si was surprised when she saw her instruction.
Yan Mor Tee was surprised too when he heard that name. He could not help but looked at the man in front of Song Dei Si and sized him up.
"Why are you here?" Master Chef Li asked.
"We wanted to dine in to this restaurant but we don't have a reservation so we're about to leave this place now."
Master Chef Li pondered and talked to the waitress who was standing near the entrance door.
"Let them use my VIP room." He said
"Okay, Sir!"
Song Dei Si looked at Master Chef Li. "You have a VIP room here?"
"I own the place." Master Chef Li answered.
"Ohh!" Song Dei Si was surprised.
Yan Mor Tee was still sizing the man from head to toe and twitched his mouth when he heard that he owned the restaurant. This man was really something. He looked at his wife and gave her a cold look.
Master Chef Li on the other hand did not catch the sulky expression from Yan Mor Tee because his gaze was locked on Song Dei Si.
"Thank you Master Chef Li." Song Dei Si said and smiled at him.
"No worries." Master Chef Li said and finally looked at the people who was with Song Dei Si.
"Are they your parents?" He asked.
"There are my in-laws, and he is my husband" Song Dei Si answered.
Master Chef Li was stunned and his gaze locked up to Yan Mor Tee.
"Mom, Dad and hubby, this is Master Chef Li. He is my instructor at the Masters of Cookery School!"
Master Chef Li offered a handshake to them. Master Yan and Madam Yan accepted it. It took 10 seconds before Yan Mor Tee accepted his handshake.
"I'm glad that we bumped into you before we leave the place. Our daughter-in-law must be in good hands for having you as her instructor in school." Master Yan said to Master Chef Li as they walked inside the restaurant.
The employees greeted the big boss as they walked pass by them.
Master Chef Li smiled at Master Yan "I take good care of all my students because I believe that one of them could be one of my successor."
Master Tan nodded "Right! So do you find our daughter-in-law? Did she give you headache in school?"
Song Dei Si face flushed.
Master Yan laughed "I'm just kidding! I know my daughter-in-law is a good student like she is a great daughter-in-law for us. She has never given us a headache since she married our family."
Master Chef Li nodded and looked at Song Dei Si who was walking hand in hand with Yan Mor Tee.
"Your son is such a lucky guy then" Master Chef Li said as he looked at Yan Mor Tee. He gave him another cold look. Master Chef Li slightly knitted his brows because he didn't know why Yan Mor Tee was acting strangely cold at him. Did he offend him or something?
"Right! Are you married already?" Master Yan asked Master Chef Li.
"I'm still single." Master Chef Li answered.
"I see. When you decided to marry someday, look for someone like my daughter-in-law!" Master Yan said and then suddenly laughed "Oh I forgot that she is a rare kind so you cannot find another woman like her. Like my wife here, she is unique." Master Yan looked at his wife and put his arms around her shoulders.
"I take note on that Sir!" Master Chef Li responded and was all smiled because he really like the personality of Song Dei Si's father-in-law.
They have reached his VIP room and he excused himself.
"I take my leave first and please make yourselves comfortable here." Master Chef Li politely told them.
"Thanks again, Master Chef Li!" Song Dei Si said
Master Chef Li smiled at her and left the room.
