Her heart was thumping so fast when the distance between them were just too close and it made her feel uncomfortable.

Her mind went total blank when he moved closer.

She closed her eyes.

Waiting for his lips to land onto her neck.

But it wasn't his lips that landed but a paper towel that he got from the side table which was near her.

He has started brushing it off onto her sweating neck.

She opened her eyes and was so embarrassed when she saw the mischievous smile from Tan Ji Nan's lips.

She wanted to dive into the bed and covered herself under the quilt due to embarrassment.

What was she thinking?

Ding Dong.

Both of them looked at the door when they heard the doorbell.

Save by the bell!

Ho Min Lin immediately got up to check the door.

She looked at the peeping hole and saw her Mom and Dad.

She frowned.

What are these two oldies doing in front of their room doorsteps?

She opened the door for them.

"You need anything?" She asked. She moved to the side to give way to them.

They entered the room "Your dad wants to have a good chat with fiancé. So we bought some foods from the resto and drinks" Her mother said and was surprised to see she was holding a beer.

"Oh so you too got started already?" Madam Ho asked.

She nodded.

"Are you drunk now?" Madam Ho asked in a follow up question.

"Nope" Ho Min Lin answered.

"But why your face already so red?" Madam Ho exclaimed

Ho Min Lin suddenly touched her face and it wasn't just red, it felt so hot.

Tan Ji Nan stood up when he saw his future-in-laws.

"Good afternoon, Uncle and Auntie."

"We hope we don't disturb you." Master Ho said "We don't have anything to do in our casita and I thought to pay you guys a visit to have a little chit-chat with you. I haven't had much of a conversation with you..."

Tan Ji Nan smiled. "You just came at the right time." He looked at Ho Min Lin when he answered him.

Ho Min Lin face blushed again.

Was he implying something?

"We can drink outside for good ambiance." Tan Ji Nan suggested.

Master Ho agreed. "Yeah, the divan looks relaxing too."

"We'll join you!" Said Ho Min Lin when her father and her fiancé were heading outside.

"Aren't you watching a movie?" Madam Ho asked.

Ho Min Lin twitched her mouth. She didnmt even understand the story of the movie.

"The movie is quite boring. Beside I haven't done with this one." She said as she raised the beer can on her hands. She didn't wait for her mother's reply and followed the two men.

Madam Ho softly tapped her forehead.

"This kid." She said in frustration because Ho Min Lin was about to ruin the man-to-man talk between Master Ho and Tan Ji Nan. She doesn't any other choice but to join them as well.

Master Ho and Madam Ho shared in one divan and the two of them shared on the other. Madam Ho put down the food from the container to the small tound table between the two divans.

"Did you enjoy our activity earlier, Auntie?" Tan Ji Nan asked when they finally settled.

"Yeah, it's been ages since the last time I went snorkeling. It was such a great time exploring the underwater world again." Madam Ho said enthusiasticly. "Too bad I don't have a waterproof camera so I wasn't able to get a photo."

"I took a photo of you and dad earlier while your swimming underwater." Ho Min Lin said.

"Really? Can I see it?" Madam Ho said excitedly.

"The gopro is in my bag." Said Ho Min Lin.

"Then get it."

Ho Min Lin pouted and stood up to get the gopro.

As soon as Ho Min Lin went inside the room, Master Ho gave his advise to her future son-in-law.

"Ji Nan, I know that you'll be marrying my daughter in the next couple of months but I just wanted to let you know that if you can wait until the night of your wedding, please do so...."

Tan Ji Nan was stunned when he heard that straightforward request from his future father-in-law.

Now, he understood where Ho Min Lin got her convervative thinking. Her family was conservative in nature.

"You don't have to worry about it, Uncle. I promised not to touch her until our wedding night. That's what also Ho Min Lin wants and I do respect her beliefs."

Master Ho raised his beer.

"Thank you, son!"

Tan Ji Nan was touched when he heard him called son. Sooner, he will be calling him Dad too.

"We're just a bit worried because we both know how alluring our daughter is. We're afraid that you may not control yourself..."

Tan Ji Nan's ears turned hot.

How could this family so straightforward in everything that they wanted to say?

He made a soft laugh. "Yeah! It was quite hard!" He answered honestly.

"That's why we knew that you are the right man for our only daughter because you respected her so much." Madam Ho said

Tan Ji Nan nodded. Now, he had promised her parents too so the more that he could no longer break that promise.

Ho Min Lin knitted her brows when she saw how serious the three of them were talking when she got back.

"What are you talking about earlier?" She curiously asked when the three has stopped talking when they saw her.

"The person that wasn't here, of course!" Tan Ji Nan teased.

Ho Min Lin pouted her lips. "And what do you guys talked about me?" She asked as she handed the gopro to her mother.

"I didn't know how to use this gadget." Madam Ho said.

"Oh yeah!" Ho Min Lin tapped her head because she forgot that her parents has never touched a gopro before. She gave her instruction on how to operate the gopro.

Tan Ji Nan was quite amazed as he watched Ho Min Lin. She has a lot of patience teaching Madam Ho. He was sure that in the near future, she will also have lot of patience when dealing with all of their future children.

"Let set up a dinner later with your family Ji Nan so we can talk about your wedding plans." Said Master Ho.

Tan Ji Nan nodded "Sure, uncle, I will reserve a table for us tonight."

"How about your twin sister, when will she get married?" Madam Ho asked.

"She needs to get a boyfriend first, before she get married Auntie!" Tan Ji Nan said as he chuckled.

"She doesn't have a boyfriend? Why? She's so beautiful, I won't believe if you'll say that no one ever got interested on her."

"Auntie, she was inlove with someone for such a long time since highschool but the guy doesn't love her in return." said Tan Ji Nan.

"Oh, what a pity! The guy must be blind for not noticing her!"

Tan Ji Nan smiled. "That guy was happily married now."

"Oh!" Madam Ho was surprised again. "Well, with her, she should not be crying over spilled milk with that guy anymore. She can find a new guy which is meant for her."

"That's what we all praying for Auntie." Said Tan Ji Nan.

"Ho Min Lin, your cousin Bo Yu, isn't he still single right now?" Madam Ho suddenly asked.

Ho Min Lin laughed "He already tried his luck with Tan Ja Nin but he got rejected!"

"Ohh! Just when I thought that she and Bo Yu could be a great pair!" Madam Ho said and made a sigh.

"I think Tan Ja Nin isn't in a hurry too in finding a new love." Said Tan Ji Nan.

"Is it because she still hasn't gotten over her first love?" Madam Ho asked.

Tan Ji Nan was stunned for moment.

Was her sister haven't gotter over Yan Mor Tee yet?

But her sister looks fine even when Song Dei Si and Yan Mor Tee were around. She doesn't looks like someone who was jealous.

Maybe she had forgotten him...

They haven't talked about it so he wasn't sure...

"She is quite busy with her new found career mom, so she doesn't time to find a boyfriend now." Ho Min Lin answered when Tan Ji Nan was caught in a reverie.

"What is she doing for a living?" Madam Ho asked.

"She's entering showbusiness." Ho Min Lin answered.

"Really?" Madam Ho was really amazed. She didn't expect that someone from affluent family will enter the world of showbusiness. It was quite a surprise.

"So who's going to help you manage your Conglomorate in the future once your dad retired?" Master Ho was surprised too so he curiously asked.

"For now, the plan is I will just handle it myself. Tan Ja Nin also doesn't want to get involved with Tan's Conglomerate matters."

"It would be tough for you..."said Master Ho.

"Ho Min Lin will be my strongest pillar!" Tan Ji Nan looked at his girlfriend and held her hands.

"But we only have Ho Min Lin to take good care of our family business too in the future." Master Ho said worriedly.

"I will support her too on that matter." Said Tan Ji Nan.

Master Ho nodded but he could still not get off all his worrisome.
