Lee Chin Mei eyes has widened in disbelief. What's wrong with her brother? Why was he angry?

"Get inside the house now" Lee Jin Ho repeated when she didn't move. She was startled for a minute but immediately get in.

Lee Jin Ho get off his car after Lee Chin Mei left. He went to Lu Jiaosheng's direction. He sized him up.

Lu Jiaosheng hissed. "What now?!"

"Why are you here?!" Lee Jin Ho.

"Didn't Lee Chin Mei has already told you. I accidentally bumped into her at the Cafè near her school earlier and I offered to take her home. I've never seen her in years so I thought it would be nice to catch up with her."

"Why would you catch up with her?!" Lee Jin Ho asked irritably.

"Well, we're quite close before when she was still a kid. I remember I was her favorite big brother and always run to my side everytime you scolded her. I think we quite have some connection."

"Connection your foot!" Lee Jin Ho said angrily. "I'm warning you, spare her."

Lu Jiaosheng made an empty laugh. "Don't you trust me?"

"Yes, I don't trust you when it comes to girls. You can flirt with anyone else but not with my sister!" Lee Jin Ho said bluntly.

Lu Jiaosheng was quite hurt. "She's just like a little sister to me." He said but felt a choke on his throat. How could he treat her like a little sister after all what happened between them?

"Good! I will trust your words" Lee Jin Ho said.

Lu Jiaosheng tapped Lee Jin Ho's shoulder and walked inside his car and left the place.

Lee Chin Mei stayed behind the gate and heard their conversation. She hid at the back of the plants when Lee Jin Ho's car entered their courtyard.

'She's just like a little sister to me'

Silly her for thinking that Lu Jiaosheng will fight for her infront of her brother.

She felt a sting on her eyes.

Lu Jiaosheng found himself drinking alone at the Privè Club. For a moment, he wanted to get drunk so that he can temporarily forget what situation he was in. What mess he entangled himself into. He didn't know what to do? He wanted to take it slow and wait for the perfect timing before he pursue Lee Chin Mei using the right method. But he cannot just sit there and wait until some other guy snatch her away from him.

But he was a coward. He could not compromise his friendship with Lee Jin Ho. He could not even let him know that he was interested on his sister and have some backbone to face his wrath. He desperately cupped his face with his both hands.

Why the world so cruel to him?

Tan Ja Nin has finished filming her new tv commercial when Song Dei Si called her.

"Hello!"

"Tan Ja Nin, are you busy today?"

"I just finished shooting my new tv commercial and I'm about to go home now. Why?"

"I was thinking if we can meet today to plan for Ho Min Lin's despedida de soltera. Her wedding is just three weeks away from now."

"Oh yeah! Where you at now?" Tan Ja Nin asked.

"I'm still here at Yan High School. Where's your location. We can meet halfway." She suggested.

"Okay! We can meet at Ming's Garden by 6PM." Tan Ja Nin answered.

Song Dei Si looked at her wristwatch and it was almost 5 in the afternoon. "Okay. See you there! Bye now." She hang up the phone and cleaned her desk. She picked up her handbag and approached her mother-in-law.

"Mom, I will ask your permission if I can leave early today." Song Dei Si said.

Madam Yan took a glance at her but turned her gazed at the laptop screen. She could not help but smile when she saw that she was ready to leave. She was just asking for her permission but have already decided for herself. "Why?"

"I have to meet Tan Ja Nin..."

When Madam Yan heard Tan Ja Nin's name she looked back at Song Dei Si. "Why are you meeting her?"

"Ho Min Lin is getting married this month, Tan Ja Nin and I will be planning to give her a despedida de soltera party."

"Oh, yeah, she'll be getting married to Tan Ji Nan, Your Dad and I has received an invitation from Tan Ji Nan the other day.."

Song Dei Si smiled. "Hope you can attend this momentus event of their lives."

A worried expression flashed Madam Yan's face. "You know the situation your Dad and Tan Ji Nan's father have right now...As much as we would love to be part of this occasion, we doesn't want to ruin it in case Jingming could not control his emotion if he sees us there."

She nooded as she understood the situation. She suddenly remember the incident that happened at the Pulongsea. She knew how Master Tan tried to to civil on front of her and Yan Mor Tee but could not help but made a nasty remarks about her husband that almost ruin the mood of everyone. But she knew that Tan Ji Nan will be disappointed if her in-laws will not attend the wedding. He treated them and love them as his own parents.

"But I think Tan Ji Nan has already advised his parents that he will be inviting you for his wedding. I think no parents in this world could never set aside their anger momentarily for the sake of their own son's happiness."

Madam Yan looked at Song Dei Si and everything that she said has made sense.

"I will further discuss it with your Dad!" Madam Yan said.

Song Dei Si smiled at her mother-in-law. "I have to take a leave now..."

Madam Yan nodded "Please take care on your way to your meeting place" she was surprised when the concern came naturally from her mouth.

Song Dei Si was surprised too.

She nodded after she recovered from her brief shock and has started to strode off to the door. Madam Yan did not retract her gaze from her retreating figure.

"You seems to be in a good mood today..."Tan Ja Nin said when she noticed the glow in Song Dei Si's eyes.

"Uhm... because I've got to see my celebrity friend today!" She said.

Tan Ja Nin face blushed "I'm not a celebrity yet."

"You are! Many companies are now lining up to get you as their endorser plus you've already started shooting your first tv drama serial and look, you have to book for a private room for us here because people starts noticing you"

Tan Ja Nin pouted. "Yeah, it now really hard to roam around in the public places without some people approaching me to ask for an authograph or simply aks to have a photo with me."

Song Dei Si laughed. "It must be hard for you and Lee Jin Ho to go outside on a date!"

"Uhm. We only see other when he visits me at my apartment or I'll go visit him at his pad."

Song Dei Si looked at Tan Ja Nin. "Since when did you too are dating each other secretly."

"We've been together for almost four months now.."

"Really?!" Song Dei Si eyes widened in disbelief. "How does it happen?" She asked. She have been married with Yan Mor Tee for half a year now and if they've been together for four months now so does it mean that they got together after they went back from Hong Kong? "When did you develop a feelings for one another? Was it in Hong Kong?"

"I-I don't know exactly when...and I wasn't sure until now if we have the same feelings towards each other..."

Song Dei Si knitted her brows "What do you mean?"

"Our relationship didn't go though the normal way. He didn't even court me."

"Yeah it was quite a surprise. I didn't know that Lee Jin Ho was interested on you..."

Tan Ja Nin bit her lips "He only got interested on me after we slept with each other."

"When was that?" She asked.

"After you've came back from your honeymoon and announced to the world that you've married. I was so brokenhearted then and so was Lee Jin Ho. We accidentally bumped into each other at the Privè Club and we were both drunk that night and I just found myself naked on his bed the following day..."

"Ooh... and then.." Song Dei Si asked.

"He ignored me after that!" Tan Ja Nin said

"What a jerk?! He didn't offer to take responsibility on what had happened between the two of you. I'm pretty sure he took your first time then.."

Tan Ja Nin face blushed "He actually did but I turned down his offer...and then after that he started ignoring me and never did try to contact me again. I was at loss that time and could not sleep almost every night thinking about what happened between us...then I accidentally had myself overdosed from taking sleeping pills..."

"So Yan Mor Tee wasn't the reason why you resort to taking sleeping pills just like almost everyone has meanly put it. So all the while it was Lee Jin Ho...."
