"I just leave the cooking department to you then!" Yan Mor Tee said with a bit frustration on his voice.

Song Dei Si looked at him with a smiled on her face. "Thank you for your effort of making me a breakfast today!"

Yan Mor Tee smiled at her too.

"You didn't go to work just to prepare this?!" Song Dei Si suddenly remember.

"I woke up a bit late too and just decided to work from home today."

"I missed my cooking class today!" She pouted.

"You looked so serene while you were sleeping earlier so I didn't wake you up" Yan Mor Tee said.

"I'll go to work later at Yan High School..."

"Just skip it and spend the whole day with me..."Yan Mor Tee said. "I've already told mom that you're not coming to school today."

"What did she say?!" A worried voice emerged from her.

"I think she's okay with it."

She looked at Yan Mor Tee with doubts.

"You can call her if you want.." Yan Mor Tee said.

Song Dei Si picked up her phone and dialled her mother-in-laws number. She wanted to ask for her permission personally.

Madam Yan was a bit surprised when she saw Song Dei Si's number on her phone screen. It was the first time that she received a call from her.

"Hello" Madam Yan said from the other line.

Song Dei Si was taken aback when she remember the conversation between her and Yan Mor Tee last night. She really felt sorry that she cause too much pain not only to Yan Mor Tee but her in-laws as well.

"Hello, Mom!" She softly said.

"Song Dei Si! Why did you call?" Madam Yan asked.

"I've called to ask your permission if I can file a personal time off today..."

"Why?!" Madam Yan asked. Song Dei Si looked at Yan Mor Tee and gave him a contempt look. Didn't he just say that he already told his mom that she will not be reporting for work? But why is it that her mother-in-law seems to be clueless about it.

"Yan Mor Tee did not report to the office today, I will be spending a day with him..." She said honestly.

Madam Yan curled up a smile. She already knew that her daughter-in-law will not be coming to the office today because her son has already told her about it this morning at the breakfast table. Yan Mor Tee shared the reason why Song Dei Si was still sleeping. He has told them about the heart to heart talk that happened between her son and his wife last night. Yan Mor Tee also share with them the reason why she broke up with him years ago.

'Silly!' Her daughter-in-law was so stupid for giving up on Yan Mor Tee because she loves her son too much and for thinking of their welfare first instead of her own happiness. Now, she was convinced she has all the reason to hate her. Because she was stupid. She'll never know the power she has on her son. She'll never know that without her, Yan Mor Tee will rather stop living.

Her son almost died when he met a car accident on the night that she broke up with him. She thought they would lost him. But then she came into the hospital and she was crying almost every night pleading him to fight for his life and promised him that she never leave his side again. She wanted to throw her out of his hospital room but when Yan Mor Tee regained his conciousness, the first person he looked for was Song Dei Si.

She don't want to believe that it was Song Dei Si's presence and voice that made her son fight for his life. And true to her promise, she never leave his son until he got charged from the hospital. She stayed with him all through out their Uni days and supported him on his journey of becoming the Yan Enterprise CEO.

During that time, thou she wanted to hate her, she could not belittle her sacrifice. She was aware of the scholarship she had lost in Harvard just to stay with Yan Mor Tee while he was still in the hospital. But she mistook it as the payment for her guilty consience. After she graduated, she could have the opportunity to work in other companies whom she can soar her wings high but she chose to stay by his son side again as his secretary.

She wasn't blind to see all those sacrifices but she was still afraid that one day, she will leave her son again. Like her son, she almost believed her when she said that she never loved him before. But when they got married, she saw how she took good care of her son. How she looked at him with so much love. She wasn't blind not to see her efforts to win her heart too.

And Song Dei Si was so easy to love. They were times that she was surprised to know that she started to love her as her own daughter too and was so proud of her for being her daughter-in-law.

But she still need to show a facade on her. She needs to teach her a lesson for hurting his son so much so that she will not dare to leave her son again. "Just make sure you'll give us a grandson out of this personal time-off!"

Song Dei Si's was astounded. Wasn't she asking for so much more? "We will try mom" she said as her face has flushed red.

"Uhm!" Madam said and hang up the phone.

"What did she say?! Did she agree?" Yan Mor Tee asked.

"Uhm, but with condition.."

"Like..."

"I have to make sure that I will give her and dad a grandson out of this personal time off!"

Yan Mor Tee laughed. He love his mom so much. She really knew how to torture people to his advantage.

"Then you should start doing what you were being asked...." He said.

"But...I wanted to talk to her and personally apologize for the pain I've caused you" she said as she sidestepped Yan Mor Tee's comment.

"You have all the time in the world to do that. But finish your breakfast for now...because we still have a lot of things to do..."

Song Dei Si looked at him. "What are you planning to do?"

"We will be working. You'll be my secretary for today" said Yan Mor Tee.

Song Dei Si nodded and loved the idea. She really missed working as his personal assistant thou.

"Madam Yan, what are you thinking?" Master Yan asked when he noticed that Madam Yan was spacing out. He fetched him from school and they were on the way to the Yan Mansion.

"I was thinking of the upcoming wedding of Tan Ji Nan..."

"What about it?"

"Should we attend at his wedding?" Madam Yan asked.

"Didn't we already discuss it, that we don't want to create scenes at the wedding. You still know our situation with Jingming..." Master Yan answered

"But I was thinking of what Song Dei Si has said to me yesterday..."

"What does your favorite daughter-in-law said to you?" Master Yan teasingly asked her.

Madam Yan smiled. "You're stupid daughter-in-law told me to reconsider coming to their wedding for the reason that Tan Ji Nan will be sad if we will not be there on this momentus event of his life..."

"Since when that you're being get swayed by your daughter-in-law's opinion?" Master Yan laughed heartily as he was really amazed on this development.

Madam Yan gave her husband a glare. "Because she made a lot of sense!"

Master Yan smiled "So are you saying, you wanted to attend the wedding?"

Madam Yan pouted. "It would still be your decision though."

Master Yan looked at his wife then sighed. "Okay, if you really want to attend to his wedding, then we wil go!"

Madam Yan suddenly put her hands into her husband arms. "Thank you, Master Yan!"

Master Yan looked at his adorable wife. "Happy now?"

"Uhm." Madam Yan said. "Hey?! What happened to your son and daughter-in-law today?"

"Uhm, they never leave their room except during lunch time..." Master Yan told her.

Madam Yan curled up a smile "Do you think were going to have a grandson soon?"

"It depends on your son's performance" Master Yan's laughed.

"Have you teached him the tricks?"

Master Yan burst out laughing "Madam Yan, don't make it too obvious that you are really excited to have a grandson soon..."

Madam Yan rolled her eyes "As if you don't wish for a grandson too..."

"I always wanted to have a grandson soon because it's too boring at home. Should you resign as the School Directress now and handed off your position to our great daughter-in-law and just make me a company?" Master Yan suggested.

"Not at this time...our Song Dei Si wanted to pursue a career to be the next well known Chef, I could not take away that dream from her right now..." Madam Yan said as she looked at the road that they were taking "She may have a lot of potential in handling the school management but I wanted her to soar high on what her heart truly desires"
