"Who are you talking to?" Tan Ji Nan asked his wife. She wasn't replying to their group chat anymore but she was busy typing on her phone like she was still engaged into a conversation

"I was talking to Tan Ja Nin and Song Dei Si." Ho Min Lin replied.

"Oh! So you have a another group chat?" Tan Ji Nan asked.

Ho Min Lin nodded. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure you guys has another group chat too exclusively for guys"

Tan Ji Nan grinned because it was true. The four of them has a group chat too where they usually discuss a topic that the girls should not supposed to know. "So what girls' secret are you discussing?"

"That's why it's called secret so I can't tell you" Ho Min Lin scoffed.

"But we're husband and wife now so we shouldn't keep secret to each other."

Ho Min Lin was caught off guard but rolled her eyes. "There are some information that are only meant to be known by us girls!"

"Oh, so let me guess. Are you talking about us in your group chat? You're comparing who's better among the four of us?"

Ho Min Lin scoffed. "Ha?! In your dreams!"

Tan Ji Nan laughed and do not dwell on it further. Whatever it was that the ladies discussed behind their back was something that he will just let it be.

Ho Min Lin looked at her husband.

"Ji Nan, can I ask you something?" She asked him.

"Sure! You can ask everything! What is it then?" Tan Ji Nan said.

"I am just wondering, why are you guys doesn't want your sister to fall inlove with your bestfriend?" Ho Min Lin curiously asked.

"Why do you ask?"

"I'm just curious, from the conversation earlier, it seems like you don't want Tan Ja Nin to fall inlove with your bestfriend." She said. She really wanted to know his reasons.

"Because she had fallen in love with my bestfriend before. And it wasn't a good feeling if one party could not reciprocate it"

Ho Min Lin nodded. "How do you feel towards Yan Mor Tee when he could not love her back before?"

"I was mad." Tan Ji Nan looked at Ho Min Lin and suddenly made a pause. "And I almost lost him before."

"Really?" Ho Min Lin was quite surprised because she always thought that Tan Ji Nan and Yan Mor Tee friendship has never been shaken.

Tan Ji Nan made a bittter sweet smile. "When you saw your sister crying everyday because she was hurting so bad, all you wanted to do was to give that person who hurt her so much a good beating, but you cannot do that because you know from the start what he really feels toward your sister."

"Oh..." Ho Min Lin murmured.

"Instead of me getting mad at him, I was mad of myself because I cannot do anything to lessen the pain that Tan Ja Nin was feeling..."

"You said you almost lost him?"

Tan Ji Nan softly nodded. "I was at the verge of cutting my ties with him but believe me that our friendship was save when his father broke off the agreement to marry him off to Tan Ja Nin..."

"Huh?!" Ho Min Lin knitted her brows. Wasn't he supposed to get mad at Yan Mor Tee too?

"Because that was when I realized that he really cared for Tan Ja Nin...he spared her for the misery that she could have been to if they married each other"

Ho Min Lin softly nodded.

A marriage without love could hurt Tan Ja Nin more.

"Agree. I think Tan Ja Nin has gotten over with her feelings with Yan Mor Tee. I am glad that she found her passion for acting and it really helped her in coping up and start over again. I'm sure she's going to have a good life after all those heartaches."

Tan Ji Nan nodded. "I love the maturity that she is showing. I just hope she find someone who can give her all the love that she deserves."

"What if she fall in love again with one of your bestfriends?" Ho Min Lin asked hypothetically.

"You mean, fall in love either with Lu Jiaosheng or Lee Jin Ho?"

"Yeah!" Ho Min Lin said.

"It's impossible!"

"Why?"

"I couldn't see any signs that she is interested to any of these guys."

Ho Min Lin agreed because if Tan Ja Nin did not tell her about her relationship with Lee Jin Ho, she wouldn't have any idea too that there was something going on between the two of them.

"But what if..." She asked again.

"There will be no what if! Lu Jioasheng is smitten by the girl he met in Hong Kong and Lee Jin Ho is already in a relationship now so it's impossible. Also, I don't want Tan Ja Nin to fall to any of them because she might get hurt again." Tan Ji Nan said.

"But..."

She could not finish what she was about to say because Tan Ji Nan stopped her.

"I think I've heard the doorbell. Maybe it's the food delivery guy. Let's go and check." Tan Ji Nan said as he stood up. He helped Ho Min Lin to stand up too.

"What did you order?" Ho Min Lin asked

"Your favorite."

Ho Min Lin eyes twinkled. She tried to run to the door but could not move faster when she felt a pain in between her thighs.

She pouted.

Ah! Why does it still hurt so bad?

She needs a medicine!

"Wait?!" Tan Ja Nin stopped Lee Jin Ho when he was about to open the door of his car.

Lee Jin Ho looked at Tan Ja Nin and saw her nervous expression.

He smiled at her.

"Nervous?"

Tan Ja Nin nodded. She never felt nervous like this before. Her heart was pounding so fast and she wanted to calm it first before she meet Lee Jin Ho's parents.
