"How could you do that? Your hands are sprained?" Lu Jiaosheng asked.

"I'm just bluffing you" Lee Jin Ho waved his hands in the air.

"Do you think it's funny?" Lu Jiaosheng asked again with some irritation on his voice.

"It was. If you could only see your reaction earlier." Lee Jin Ho said as his lips curled up.

Lee Chin Mei looked at Lu Jiaosheng and curved up a smile. How she wished she saw his reaction earlier. He must be looking cute.

"You looked silly." Lee Jin Ho laughed but his abdomen ached.

"Karma is a bitch!" Lu Jiaosheng said.

Lee Chin Mei could not help but burst out laughing.

Lu Jiaosheng looked at her and was mesmerized by her innocent laughs.

Lee Jin Ho could not help it but he was always get uneasy everytime Lu Jiaosheng looked at her sister that way.

"I'm hungry." He said.

"I'll go downstairs to buy some foods in case you don't want to eat the hospital food." Lu Jiaosheng volunteered.

Lee Jin Ho looked at the food on the tray and it seems delicious.

"This will do." He said.

Lee Chin Mei put on the tray into his bed and Lee Jin Ho has started to eat on his own.

"Aren't you going to grab some food for you to eat too?" Lee Jin Ho asked Lu Jiaosheng.

"Mei Mei, did you have breakfast yet?"

Lee Chin Mei face suddenly turned crimson. He used to call her that when she was a kid, but now that she's all grown up why does it sounds so sweet?

Lee Jin Ho catches his sister reaction and knitted his brows.

"I'm done." Lee Chin Mei said as a matter of factly. But she was thankful that she already had her breakfast before she leaves the house earlier, because she doesn't know how to reject Lu Jiaosheng in case he would ask her to join him for breakfast.

Lu Jiaosheng was a bit disappointed but he excused himself to grab some breakfast at the coffee shop located at the ground floor.

When Lu Jiaosheng was gone, Lee Chin Mei examined her brother.

"How do you feel now?" She worriedly asked.

"I'm fine." Lee Jin Ho said.

"Have you talked to sister-out-law already?"

Lee Jin Ho has stopped the fork that was about to go into his mouth.

Tan Ja Nin haven't contacted her yet since last night.

Did she give up on him?

A cloud filled up his eyes.

He shook his head.

"She was crying when she called me earlier..."

"How is she?" Lee Jin Ho asked Lee Chin Mei. Tan Ja Nin must be suffering from her emotional battle.

"She seems not fine. She wanted to be here to take good care of you but she said there are some media here."

Lee Jin Ho made a deep sigh.

This must be hard for Tan Ja Nin.

"Why don't you call her?"

He wanted to....

But he don't know what to say.

"You're not going to give up on her after what happened right?"

Of course. He said to himself.

"Call her after you finish your breakfast. Let me know if you I need to go out so you could have some privacy"

Lee Jin Ho looked at his younger sister and he could not believe that all those words came out from her.

Did she graduate from being a brat to a sensible teenager now?

"You sounds like a young fine lady now?" Lee Jin Ho said. He felt proud for this character development of his younger sister.

"I'm 18 now" She reminded him. She wanted him to stop treating her like a baby.

"I can see that" Lee Jin Ho agreed.

Lee Chin Mei smiled.

"But you are still not allowed to have a boyfriend."

"Why?" Lee Chin Mei asked.

"You have to focus on your study. Few months from now, you are going to UK already so you must prepare yourself because it isn't easy to be a student in Oxford."

A worry flashes on Lee Chin Mei beautiful face.

"Yeah some of my seniors who is currently studying there told me that too."

"But you can do it." Lee Jin Ho gave his sister words of encouragement.

"Yeah, and good thing I have a friend on the same class too who also made it to Oxford."

"Is that friend a guy?" Lee Jin Ho asked.

"Uhm." Lee Chin Mei nodded.

"What is his name?"

Lee Chin Mei looked at her brother suspiciously "Why would I you give his name? You will just let your men investigate him and threaten him." She said as she rolled her eyes.

"Why are you concerned on his well being? Do you like the guy?"

"If I like him so what? What else you could do? You were miles away from me and you cannot do anything to stop me if I wanted to have a relationship with him." Lee Chin Mei said. She was tired of her brother's over protectiveness.

"You try." Lee Jin Ho said. It's not that he doesn't want Lee Chin Mei to have a boyfriend while she was studying, he was just afraid that her sister will fall for some bad guys.

How could he entrust her precious sister to just anyone?

His sister's boyfriend must be someone who could protect her.

Someone who will take good of her.

Someone who will love her.

Someone who could be like...

His thoughts was interrupted when they heard a knocked from his door. He looked at his sister.

Was it Lu Jiaosheng?

He just gone for a while and it was unusual that he came back already?

Unless he decided not to buy breakfast anymore.

It must be the doctor?

Or the nurse?

Lee Chin Mei got up and opened the door.

Squerked. A sound of an opened door was heard and suddenly, a nurse in her uniform came in.

The nurse immediately came to check Lee Jin Ho.
