"Jin Ho, I..."

"Come to my place instead." Lee Jin Ho said from the other line. He would rather invite Lu Jiaosheng and Lee Chin Mei at his place than allowing them to go out and spend time with each other alone. "Tan Ja Nin is at the supermarket right now buying some grocery and will cook something for lunch. You two can join us."

Lu Jiaosheng, "..."

"You join us here or you will send Lee Chin Mei home?"

Lu Jiaosheng snorted "Are you that afraid that I will do something on Lee Chin Mei?" there was a tinge of pain on his voice.

No. I'm afraid that Lee Chin Mei could not contain herself. He said to himself because he knew that his little sister has a big crush on Lu Jiaosheng when she was just a kid. Lu Jiaosheng being the gigolo that he was, might took advantage of the situation.

"She is just like a little sister to you..."He reminded Lu Jiaosheng.

Little sister.

Yes, Lee Chin Mei was a little sister to him. But after that fateful night how can he look at her and continue treating her like his little sister?

"Okay, will just be joining you and will go straight to your place" Lu Jiaosheng said.

This may not be the right time to pursue Lee Chin Mei.

Lee Chin Mei straightened up when she saw Lu Jiaosheng's car approaching to where she was stood.

She went inside the car when it stopped in front of her and sat at the passenger seat.

Lu Jiaosheng smiled at her. "We're going to your brother's place instead" He said as he started to drive.

Lee Chin Mei was stunned. What's with the sudden change of plans? She was really excited earlier everytime she thought that she will be eating out alone with Lu Jiaosheng, she made a quick trip to the ladies room too to check on herself if she looks good. But what now?

"I think it's a good idea to join Lee Jin Ho and Tan Ja Nin for lunch as a way of celebrating his dischargement." Lu Jiaosheng explained.

"Yeah, I think so too." She said, trying to sound like she was not disappointed. Anyway, her initial plan was really to go to his brother's place but then Lee Jin Ho did not allow her to go there "But...when I said I wanted to go to his place earlier he said not to..."

Lu Jiaosheng, "..."

"Are you sure we can go to his place?" Lee Chin Mei asked for confirmation.

"Yeah, he was the one who suggests that we should go to his place instead."

"I see." Lee Chin Mei said. She could not fathom why his brother has a sudden change of mind.

"Maybe we can go out some other time." Lu Jiaosheng said.

Lee Chin Mei face turned crimson. "Why would we go out?"

Lu Jiaosheng was surprised and tried to find words to answer her. "It's.. it's because were not able to go out now so I owe you a lunch."

Lee Chin Mei nodded. She really wish that Lu Jiaosheng will keep that promise to take her out some other time.

"Can I get your number so I can call you to check when will you be available to go out?"

Lee Chin Mei got excited and gave her number immediately to Lu Jiaosheng.

"Wait, I will not remember your number by just you saying it. I don't have a great memory anymore." Lu Jiaosheng chuckled.

Lee Chin Mei chuckled too "Yeah! Sorry about that."

"Why don't you get my phone at my trouser's pocket and save your number there?"

Lee Chin Mei suddenly looked at his trouser and just by the thought that she would get his phone from there make her face blushed.

Lu Jiaosheng lips curled up. He saw her reaction and could not help but teased her.

"I don't think it's a good idea" Lee Chin Mei said after a careful thoughts.

"Oh, yeah it's a little too close for comfort. I'm sorry" Lu Jiaosheng said innocently and then put his right hand inside his pocket to get his phone. He unlocked it by his thumb and gave it to Lee Chin Mei.

Her hands was quite trembling when she received his phone.

Lee Chin Mei please calm yourself.

She looked at Lu Jiaosheng phone's home screen and noticed that his screensaver was one of the default phone manufacturer's photo.

Good.

Because she could not handle it if she saw a picture of his girlfriend on his home screen. She browse through his phone book and click the add button.

When she was about to type her name. She playfully type it as "Princess Mei" then she added her phone number. She was about to return the phone to Lu Jiaosheng when it suddenly rang. Since it was connected to his car speaker, Lu Jiaosheng heard it too.

The call came from a certain Wu Charie.

Her name was familiar to her.

Who was this woman again?

"Hello, Charie!" Lu Jiaosheng said as he answered the call through the car speaker.

Lee Chin Mei was still holding his phone as she tried to process on her mind who was this Wu Charie is?

She knew she heard her name before.

"Hi Jiaosheng!" The female voice from the other line sounded so sweet and friendly. "Did I disturb you?"

"Not really. Why did you call?" Lu Jiaosheng asked in a gentlemanly way. Deep inside he was annoyed by her sudden call. But when she looked at Lee Chin Mei and saw that she was attentively listening, he could not help but smile.

"Where you at right now?" Wu Charie asked instead of answering directly his question.

Lee Chin Mei mouth twitched. Why was this woman asking Lu Jiaosheng where he was at? She sounded like a girlfriend trying to check his boyfriend on his whereabouts.

"I'm out right now..." Lu Jiaosheng answered. "I am sitting here at the driver seat with this little girl beside me."
