The very next day, Brina took a day off and went to visit her uncle in the hospital. However, after seeing his pitiful condition, Brina couldn't bring herself to discuss anything related to his children with him.

She just talked casually and surprisingly, her uncle was no longer rash with her. There was a little hint of unfathomable guilt in his voice.

"How has he been, grandpa?" Brina asked her grandfather as they took a walk in the garden.

Her Aunt Clara was taking care of her uncle and seems something has changed between them.

"He was not sad for what happened to Nolen and Nadia. There was a special courier delivered to our home's door and it has all the proof of every inhumane activity your cousin did behind his back. And, he even found out that his children were actually planning to betray him."

"I don't know who that person is, but he even managed to find out how your cousin has been harassed your Aunt Clara. At last, after seeing all those things he realized his mistakes. But due to that shock, he had a heart attack." her grandfather explained.

Brina nodded her head, sighing in relief that she doesn't have to work on her promise anymore. And, she exactly knows who this mysterious sender is.

It could be either, Harry or Louis.

Might be both!!

Brina stayed there for an hour and then returned back to the penthouse.

As things with her family are almost at the end and Louis's birthday is around the corner, she decided to concentrate on planning his birthday.

Thinking for a while, Brina contacted Charlotte who is still in her home.

"Brina!! How have you been, girl?!" a cheerful voice rang through the speaker making Brina flinch a little.

But soon, a smile blossomed on her face thinking about this new friend of hers.

"I am fine, Char! How are you doing there? Are things pretty tough to handle?" she couldn't help but ask, feeling slightly guilty.

"Nah, nothing that I couldn't handle. Everything is good here and I will be flying there after a couple of days." Charlotte informed.

"It's good then. You will be here for Louis's twenty-eight birthday." Brina excitedly said. "As a best friend you must be here" she added.

"Of course! I will never miss that idiot's birthday." Charlotte laughed. "I will be there for sure, Brina. Anyway, are we planning something for him?" she asked.

Brina laughed in return when she heard that energetic, jubilant voice of Charlotte's.

"I'm actually planning a birthday party for him but couldn't think of any people who are so close to Louis. Any recommendations, Char?" Brina asked. "It will be good if your brother Calvin will be here as well" she said.

"Hehe.. as I expected. Actually, Louis doesn't have many friends. However, he has a small gang of friends in the States. And, this is the first birthday Louis is celebrating without them in these few years. I think they will be more than willing to show up and give him birthday bumps. As for Calvin, he is very busy, Brina. He might not be able to come" Charlotte said, laughing.

"It's all right, Char. Don't trouble Calvin then" Brina said.

"As for his friends, let's call them. It will be good. Including them and us, there will be a handful of people and that would be enough. A simple and cute birthday party but a memorable and entertaining one." Brina said.

"I'm gonna forwarding their numbers to you. They will surely come if Louis's girlfriend herself will invite them, hehe." Charlotte giggled.

At last, the piece of wood got his girlfriend.

"And Brina, no need to call everyone and invite them specifically. There is a girl named Layla in the contacts I sent you. She is Louis's bestfriend and they were also neighbors back then." Charlotte suggested.

"Thanks Char. I will talk to her." Brina said.

After ending the call, Brina pondered for a little while and then called the girl called Layla.

"Hello?" a sweet voice came from the other side.

"Hi. Is this Layla speaking?" Brina politely asked.

"Yes, may I know who you are?" Layla asked, this time her voice slightly guarded up.

"I am Louis's girlfriend, B-" Brina is about to finish but Layla interjected.

"Brina?" Layla completed.

Slightly shocked, Brina hummed in response. "You know me?" she asked, couldn't help her curiosity.

"Of course!! You are the hot topic here among my friends. We all are very excited to see the girl who at last succeed in melted the King Devil's heart." Layla excitedly said.

Her friendly voice at last made Brina relax a bit.

"Then, I could tell that, the day is coming soon. I actually called to invite you all to his birthday and decided to call each and every one of you but Charlotte told me you alone would be enough to convince them to come here." Brina said.

"Haha, that's true. I will drag all the boys with me, don't worry! As Louis's birthday is on Sunday, we will be there by Saturday morning. Don't worry about the idiots here, I will surely drag them all there." Layla jokes.

Brina could listen a man's voice coughing there while another man was complaining ''No dragging please. My hand is fractured here.''

"We will poison your food" some other person was saying.

Listening the funny banters, Brina could tell that these people are funny. Louis has told her all about his friends in the States and as far as she remembers, these people are not just an ordinary people.

"Thank you." Brina thanked Layla and after talking for a few more minutes, they ended the call.

Later, Brina called Harry and told him what she was planning to do on Louis' birthday.

After all, they said that they will help her.

Harry listened to her attentively but he spoke very few words. He seems to be stressed over something.

It was Natalie again.

She couldn't forget about Leo and tried to kill herself again. This time it was pretty serious that they admitted her in the hospital.

However, they did not tell Brina because she always gets emotional over something like this.
