Charlotte, who was seeing this from the very beginning, felt her heart ache for Louis and Brina.

"If you don't mind Sir Francis, I want to speak something." Charlotte said, making everyone look at her.

"Did you decide to get back into a relationship with Louis again?" Francis questioned.

If that is the case, there is nothing to worry about! Almost, everyone in Noble Families knows how close both were.

It's quite common if they decide to marry!!

"Never!" Charlotte told and Queen Elora scrunched her eyebrows.

What's wrong with her handsome son!! Which girl would say no to him?

"I don't mean in that way, Your Highness. What I mean is, I can never get into a relationship with any man. Let it be Edward or any one" Charlotte told Queen Elora, making everyone cough in surprise.

"Wh.. what do you mean??" Charlotte's mother Adela questioned in fury.

"What I mean is, I'm a lesbian and I can't participate in this competition." Charlotte announced.

Adela looked at her daughter with her cold eyes. If it wasn't for the people here, she would have surely lashed out.

Meanwhile, Louis understood what his best friend was trying to do and he couldn't help but look at her with gratitude.

He is really lucky to have her in his life!!

"So, House of Landon doesn't have any suitors eligible for competition.. ahh. Such a shame" Eliina said, giving an imagining high five to her sis Char. She understood what Charlotte was trying to do here.

Charlotte is the only girl with age of above twenty in House of Landon and not yet married. So, she is the only candidate who is eligible to attend for the competition.

However..

They can't send her knowing that she won't be interested in any kind of sexual relationship with men.

They need heirs as soon as the King gets married. Mostly, the heir will be born before the first year of marriage.

"Exactly! That is what I am telling, Princess Eliina. I'm thinking if House of Landon can sponsor Prince Edward's girlfriend. This isn't restricted and these types of sponsorships have happened back in the history before." Charlotte suggested.

"But, the girls who got sponsored by the Houses actually belonged to Noble Families itself. But from the less powerful ones, that's it" Francis told.

"But, there isn't any rule that the girl must be from the Noble Family, Sir Francis. Commoners could also get sponsored and this has happened in Kingdom Sophene before. " Charlotte said.

"Charlotte, I understand that you are trying to help Louis but the point here is the girls who are sponsored never won. They are no match to the heiresses of Noble Families who specially got groomed to become a Queen. Years of grooming cannot be defeated by overnight preparations." Adela told her daughter.

"Mom, something is better than nothing!" Charlotte whispered.

"Even if you get someone to participate in the competition, they would not be able to win either. If you sponsor someone whom Prince Edward loves, we will at least have the chances. Think about the profits we attain if our House wins." she whispered.

"Don't forget that Prince gets the chance to select between the top two suitors. If Brina manages to earn a good name in front of the press and people, half of the work will be done. If she gets at a few of the houses to support her, she will surely reach top teo and is it not a win-win situation?"

While Charlotte is discussing this with her mother, everyone heard it as well.

"As my son loves Brina, I will pledge my support to her. But, only if I feel like she is capable enough and has potential to rule the Kingdom." Elora announced. "I don't want her to be the top contestant either. I just want her to prove her worth to me"

"Same goes with me as well. But, I have to make sure that she is good enough to become a Queen. She must be strong enough to rule the Kingdom with Edward." Francis said.

Adela nodded her head too, after hearing the Queen and Prime minister.

"Me and my husband will take her as our rightful lady and let her participate in the competition on behalf of the Landon Family. But, Prince Edward, you have to make the House of Landon third in command if she wins." she said.

"You have my word." Louis promised.

"If you give me an hour, I will go and talk with my girlfriend about it first." Louis told everyone. He at last sighed in relief but he knows that the main problem is yet to come.

He is aware that it will be more difficult to convince Brina who hates all of these.

"We can't give you one hour, Edward. We are running out of time and don't forget that today is Sunday and we have a court meeting in the evening. It will be dangerous if others find out that the King Edgar is sick and the Royal Family is missing. We must rush!" Francis said.

"Fifteen minutes. Not more than that." Queen Elora said, patting his back.

"Edward, every minute counts. We must go soon and we have already wasted enough time now." Francis warned.

"Yes! We have to reach there by evening. Or else, it will be in chaos." Adela said.

Louis nodded his head and ran out. Disregarding all the guards who were bowing to him. Louis ran to the private garden and noticed that Brina wasn't there.

Wasting no more time asking others, he rushed to his and Brina's suite only to find it empty.

He looked around but there were no traces of his girlfriend. 'I.. I.. I should call her.' Louis hastily decided.

But when he tried to contact her, Brina's phone was unreachable.

"Baby, please pick up." Louis almost begged, falling on to his knees but all he got was the beep sound. He tried three to four times but all is in the vain.
