Brina chuckled.

She just didn't know what else to answer.

"Where are the horses?" Brina asked.

"Oh.. yeah. I totally forgot we came here to check on horses. Haha. Ummm.. it's on this side. Come." Charlotte said leading Brina into the large stables.

And, Brina's eyes shone as soon as she saw the different types of horses showcased there.

However, her eyes are twinkling not because of this reason but because of the black, Arabian horse which stood there majestically.

It just resembled her horse, Maximus.. her own horse.

Meanwhile, the caretaker noticed them and immediately rushed to them and bowed.

"Lady Brina, please do select a horse and if you request for a mentor, we will have them summoned immediately." he respectfully said.

Brina smiled and nodded her head in acknowledgement.

"Can I get that black horse, please." Brina right away said. However, she got interjected when a high pitched laughter echoed in the stables.

Olivia who just entered the stables to select her horse had eavesdropped their conversation and she couldn't control her laughter which is actually filled with mockery.

"Lady Brina, I think you aren't aware of which type of horse that is. Well, I don't blame you Lady Brina, you are after all just a commoner who has no knowledge on these types of aristocratic things."

"Let me help you." Olivia arrogantly said and she shifted Brina's right hand which is pointing to Black Arabian horse, so that it is now pointing to a short and lazy looking horse.

"As you are new and don't want to ruin your beautiful face with scars and bruises, this tiny horse is the better option. What do you say, brother?" she asked her brother who was smirking on the other side.

"You are very much right, Olivia. And, Lady Brina, as Calvin is not here to help you, you can ask me if you want anything. I can help you." he said. However, the edge of his voice has that mockery and sarcasm in.

He sounded as if he is a monster lusting for sex.

His eyes quickly scanned her face, sexy collarbones, and ogled at her round breast before tracing those lusty eyes to her waist and then to her slender legs.

Meanwhile, Brina is of course observing this disgusting act and she couldn't help her urge to beat the shit out of him and peel that skin off his body.

However, taking the circumstances into consideration she controlled herself. As if in overprotective mode, Charlotte stepped in between them and wagged her index finger to Olivia.

"You better do your business. It's none of your or your brother's concern which horse my friend selects." she angrily said.

Olivia chuckled and shook her head in arrogant fashion. Shifting her waist to one side, she placed her hand on her hip, showing off those curves, specifically to nobody.

She just loves the attention she gets for being the most beautiful.

"You seem like you don't understand the situation here, Charlotte dear. I already booked this black, Arabian horse for myself. As I am a professional and this horse is the only one I get troubled with, I have to practice." Olivia explained, which sounded more like showing off.

"Rea-" Charlotte was about to retaliate but Brina cut her off.

"Let her take it, Char. She is right.. I am still a learner and this horse is dangerous for practicing." Brina said.

Her intention has been fulfilled.

The main reason she provoked Olivia by selecting the black horse is just to understand how skilled her enemy is.

Seems like she has not yet mastered the art of horsing. Brina used to ride the horse of the same breed from when she was eighteen, but Olivia here is yet to gain her control on this horse.

Their skill set is far off the comparison..

And, Brina believes Olivia words because Olivia is someone who loves to bluff a lot about themselves. So, there is no chance she would have lied about her skills.

"But, Brina-" Charlotte is about to protest. However, as soon as she noticed the look Brina was giving to her, she understood that Brina had some ulterior motive for backing off.

"If you insist." Charlotte pursed her lips.

And, Olivia chuckled.

She has been eavesdropping on the conversation between Brina and Eliina. So, she knows that Charlotte is 'using' Brina and Brina is also aware of it.

"That's how good girls have to be." Olivia laughed.

"And, don't take these brown and golden horses as well. They are dangerous for a newbie like you." Olivia said, before walking the black horse out of the stable, to practice.

"Why did you do that? I mean, why are you letting that bitch take control over you? Have you not seen how that scoundrel was ogling at you? I am now worried what Louis would do if he finds out that someone has been checking out on his girl!! Ahh, he will kill me!" Charlotte babbled, clutching her heart.

She is more than aware how possessive Louis is towards Brina. Brina is not yet aware of how deep his possessiveness spreads to.

Only Charlotte saw that fire in Louis's eyes when Chris had tried to get Brina. And, she is sure that it has increased hundred times more right now.

Brina chuckled and hugged her friend's shoulders.

"Breath in, Char darling.."

"And, breathe out slowly. My dear, I don't want my friend to get attacked with high blood pressure at this young age. She is yet to get her girlfriend still." Brina nonchalantly said.

She even fished out a Coke from her bag and started sipping on it, as she sat down on the bench outside.

Meanwhile, Charlotte is dumbfounded.

She was venting out all her frustration and anger here, but there she is, drinking Coke and enjoying the sun.

Seriously, she sometimes doesn't understand Brina!

Charlotte : Aren't you angry?

Brina : No, not at all.

Charlotte : ー_ー

"Hey! She just belittled you!" Charlotte argued.

"Sometimes, it's better if we let them." Brina replied.

"But, what if you get that horse tomorrow? Brina, that horse is one of the wildest and aggressive one. Most of the competitors here are already trained to handle it and Olivia is simply trying to ruin your preparation by snatching it away from you!" Charlotte said, pursuing her lips.

"I really wish that I'll get that horse tomorrow." Brina said, making Charlotte dumbfounded all again.
