Why does Brina always aim for the riskiest and tough ones?

In the first event she took one of the riskiest boats.. the Ketch.

And, now.. this Arabian horse! Oh god!

"I miss the fun. And, I miss my Maximus." Brina said, as she dreamily stared at that Black horse on which Olivia has sat with a slight difficulty.

"Maximus?" Charlotte asked.

"Yeah, my horse. It is just like this horse, beautiful, wonderful and so energetic. It was a friendly pet to me." Brina said, still in trance of reminiscing those times.

Pet??!!

Charlotte looked at that horse which has now started galloping like a wildfire in rage.

Olivia almost fell down if it wasn't for her persistence and experience, she would have got herself injured.

Yes, very energetic indeed!!

But, absolutely not friendly!!

"Who are you?" Charlotte asked all in sudden, this time surprising Brina.

And, it is only when Brina understands that she has spilled the beans, showcasing a few of her 'not so extraordinary' things of her 'very normal' life.

In that daze of reminiscing her happy times with her brother Seth and her nephew Will, she totally forgot that Charlotte was listening to her.

"I mean.. see you!! Sometimes, I feel like even Olivia is nothing in front of you. The way you think, the way you analyze these people.. it just seems out of the world sometimes." Charlotte said.

Brina chuckled.

"I am just a lucky commoner. I guess." Brina said, making Charlotte roll her eyes.

However, putting an end to their conversation, a scream attracted their attention.

It is Kiara.

She was trying to balance on her 'over energetic' horse but almost fell down, trying not to collide with Brina and Charlotte who were standing near the bench.

As she is very near to where Brina and Charlotte. Brina is standing on the reflex, and went for the reins and she surprisingly, brought the horse to halt.

Everyone who is near to them froze.

The way Brina acted out on reflex made them speechless. She is no less than the professional mentor here..

To be frank, even Brina is surprised at the quickness in her reflex. It's been years since she held the reins of a powerful horse..

But where will all that practice go? It is still in her veins and imprinted in her mind.

Kiara breathed out in relief. She looked gratefully at Brina a bit and it faded off as soon as she saw Olivia walking to them.

Kiara gulped and climbed down from the horse.

"Impressive, Lady Brina. I didn't know that you had this level of practice in horse riding. Impressive.. truly impressive!" the main mentor who just saw everything jogged to them and couldn't help but praise Brina.

Meanwhile, Olivia gritted her teeth.

It used to be her who used to get all these praises from the main mentor!

But, why is Brina coming into everything, snatching away her attention!

Brina bit her tongue.

She was trying not to get attention but.. guess, she can't....

She just know that it would impact her some or other how and she would not able to avoid it.

"I just had some vacation training in my childhood." Brina said, giving a nervous smile.

"Really? However, your actions were no less skilled than a professional." the main mentor chuckled, giving a questioning gaze.

Brina smiled, running her fingers through her hair. "It might be because I am good with animals from my childhood. Nothing like what you thought, sir." she said.

Olivia and her brother rolled their eyes.

However, the more he saw Brina, the more he started to get aroused. He couldn't help his urge to have her..

"Kiara, how come your skills are less than Lady Brina's? She just had some vacation classes with a mediocre teaching. However, you.." he scoffed, disapprovingly.

And, he suddenly held the reins of the horse, intentionally touching Brina's soft skin.

Brina immediately withdrew her hand in disgust.

'I had to disinfect my hand now. Got so contaminated..' she irritatingly thought.

Meanwhile, Kiara's face lost all it's color.

Her parents actually asked her to impress Olivia's brother Owen.

They want her to marry him. As the Prince is not in her reach, she at least has to marry someone powerful and beneficial.

But..

She has also observed how Owen tried to support Brina. She noticed how his restless hands itched to touch Brina.

"I.." Kiara tried to talk but no words came to her.

"Brother, please don't get angry. Kiara might have been nervous. Otherwise, she is very skilled and talented." Olivia said, putting up her false facade. "She is one of my talented friends here."

And, as soon as Kiara heard it from Olivia, her face started getting back to normal again. She gratefully looked at Olivia, as if she is a Goddess.

….

An hour passed by..

Brina and Charlotte came back to Brina's suite and Brina changed into her shorts and t-shirt.

"It's just a waste of time. We didn't get to do anything but just look at Olivia." Charlotte impatiently said.

Brina chuckled.

"No. We actually really made a good decision by going there." Brina said, sitting across Charlotte.

"Huh? How?" Charlotte asked, confused.

How could that be a good decision?

They just sat on the bench, seeing Olivia and others practice.

As Brina's horse is no racing breed, it is simply a waste.

"Olivia was trying her luck, back there." Brina told Charlotte.

"What does that mean? I don't understand, Brina." Charlotte said, scratching her head.

"From the day I came here, I was observing every Lady from each House. As you said, Phoebe is loyal to Katherine and it is no doubt. Rebecca is also loyal to Olivia. But, it was Kiara who seemed a little bit off."

"I observed her reluctances in supporting Olivia and following her orders. Kiara was actually not happy with Olivia and I don't know the exact reason." Brina explained.

During the masquerade party, Brina saw the foul expression on Kiara's face when she was discussing things with her family.

The next day, when Brina went to have breakfast, she saw how Kiara was controlling her emotions.

She seems not happy. The same history repeated on boat sailing events as well and this made Brina come to the conclusion that something is not fine between Olivia and Kiara.
