As Brina doesn't want Olivia to get caught, Eliina made sure not to give her thoughts away.

"You have grown up, Princess. I am very proud of you." King Edgar proudly praised his daughter as he affectionately brushed her hair.

"And, don't worry about all these matters. Concentrate on your final exams, got it? You should become the Laureate of Alpha Academy just like your brother's."

"I will take care of other matters, Princess. Don't get involved more, all right. Things might get more complicated and there are also high chances that rebellion might be the cause of these disturbances. So, I don't want my precious daughter to get involved till we find out who did this and why they did it and who have helped them from inside" King Edgar seriously said.

Meanwhile, Olivia's happiness didn't last long when this incredulous news came out.

They found evidence that Horse is drugged! In addition to this, the reports are so detailed and crystal clear to prove wrong!

"Ahh… who the fuck gathered the blood samples of the horses on this three consecutive days? And, how on earth did we miss this??" Olivia screamed as she started smashing all the dishes on the table.

They were having a sumptuous dinner and it just got ruined with this.

Olivia clenched her fist, almost ripping apart her skirt which was resting on her tight.

The call is from none other than her maternal grandfather. It seems like he has found out that her plan has failed.

"Grandfather, I truly didn't leave any traces. I… I don't… I don't know how.. how it happened"

She stuttered on her last sentence knowing very well that these words are a taboo to her grandfather.

He hate it when someone says, 'I don't know'

"You stupid, impotent fool! You are a shame to my upbringing. All my effort to nurture you as my weapon, seems to be nothing but a pure failure" he scoffed.

"You were not even able to carry out a simple task and how can you expect me to put my trust on you to bring the Royal family down?"

"You got defeated in the very first event and later in the second event, you couldn't even stop others from seeing through your plan!"

"What a waste!!!" he spit out in pure hatred.

However, Olivia maintained her silence, guilt, anger, helplessness eating her alive.

"What the hell will you do if those evidence glaringly point at you? All my efforts to make you a Queen will go wasted! Rebellions agreed to make me their ally just because I promised them that I can control the throne.Now, what should I answer them, huh??" her grandfather fired out again.

"I shouldn't have trusted you to make your own plan. I should have asked someone more capable to execute it without any flaws. However, I thought you can manage such trivial matters. But you disappointed me, Olivia. Get ready t-" he got cut off when Olivia hurriedly interjected.

No… she doesn't want to face the same misery as what her impotent cousin's have faced and are still facing.

She clenched her fists again but she couldn't retaliate back. She knew that she was just a pawn in her grandfather's political game.

"Grandfather, please don't underestimate me. I had to change my plan at the last minute because a fly had escaped my clutches. In order to get that fly captured again, I might have made some mistakes. Please give me a cha-" Olivia is about to bed but her grandfather laughed.

A creepy yet extremely dangerous laugh which can make a person die just by listening to it.

It is that horrendous!

She knows he is not interested in her explanation. He just wants some fruitful results, no matter how much she suffers or she risks her life to do it.

"Grandfather... grandfather, please, please listen. I had a backup plan if this one failed. I can clean the mess I have made. Please give me a day... please, I beg you." Olivia pleaded. She is truly afraid and frightened to her wits.

"Hmm. A day it is, then. If you fail in it, you better pack all your bags and be ready" he warned, before ending the call.
