"Where have you disappeared all in sudden? We just heard that your mother died and later we couldn't contact you. Child, we have been worried about you" Madam Irene said, her eyes filled with concern.

Beatrice is a brilliant student.

Not only brilliant but she also emanated a unique aura.

She possessed such leadership qualities that it had always amazed them.

Back then, she almost created an uprising against the students who had tried to stop the system where normal students of Kingdoms and foreign students can get a seat in the Academy.

She had many followers back then! She was a real Queen!

"After my mother died I had a handful of things to take care of. So, I had no option to move to Country H, my mother's native place" Brina answered them.

"It is where you met Prince Edward?" Governor Bernard asked.

"Yeah. But I didn't know that he is a prince. I found out later when he was called back for coronation" Brina answered the Governor, whom she usually calls as uncle.

"So, Beatrice is the one Edward loves.." Sir Albert said, smiling to himself.

"My favorite students as a couple!! I really can't wait to see how the Kingdom will flourish under the assistance of the powerful King and the genius Queen" he whispered to himself. However it was heard by his wife who pinched his arm under the table.

Gesturing him to stop showing favouritism so openly.

Even she knows Brina would make the best Queen. However, they can't really jump to conclusions depending on their own impressions towards her.

Becoming a Queen to Kingdom is different from getting selected as Queen of Academy.

There will be many things they had to take into consideration before coming into conclusions.

"No wonder, Edward is confident that you will impress us." Governor Bernard said.

"So, does he know that you are Beatrice?" this time, professor Issac asked.

This is the first time he spoke.

However, he always eluded mysterious vibes that Brina always felt very uncomfortable in talking to him.

"No, professor. He actually doesn't know. Not yet" Brina said.

"And, when are you planning to tell him?" Madam Irene enquired.

Though she hates to probe on others personal matters, she really didn't have any option.

She has to know everything so that there would be no error while judging.

"To be honest, I don't know how to break it to him. Till now he is clueless about my connection to the Academy and everything else that is related to Kingdoms. I have my own reasons for now telling, however, I decided to tell him soon" Brina answered.

"Do you expect any favor from us?" Madam Irene asked.

"I actually do, madam," Brina said.

"And, what is that?" she asked.

Although Brina told her Godmother what she wanted, as a student of this academy Brina knows that everyone takes the decisions together.

"Nothing much. I actually got accustomed to having Louis by my side. If it's possible I want a joint room with him. It actually calms my nerves and gives me strength to fight" Brina said.

"How many people know that you are Beatrice?" Professor Issac asked, making her uncomfortable again.

"Uhmm. No one actually. Just my friend who came to assist me" Brina said.

"Beatrice, if you reveal who you are, your chances of winning will increase by many folds. People get excited and they trust a lot in the alumni of the academy. If they find out that you are a brilliant and top most alumni of this Academy, they might show their support for you rather than others" Governor Bernard said.

"Sir, I rather stand by myself rather than using my name to win Edward. I want them to see the potential in me. I don't want it to get overshadowed by my popularity here" Brina answered.

Meanwhile, her Godmother smiled at her.

Brina really resembles her mother in many, many ways.

"Your interview is over, Lady Brina. You can go" Governor Bernard said.

As she just declined to reveal her identity as Beatrice and decided to use her identity as Brina, he addressed her with that name.

"And, Lady Brina, your next event's details will be emailed to you by tomorrow's evening. All the best" Madam Irene said.

She and her husband are actually disappointed because she denied to utilise the golden chance.

There are many gains if she just reveals herself as Beatrice.

She still has fans in the academy!

"Thank you" Brina thanked all of them and exited the room.

Later, she dragged herself to the guest room and slumped on the bed.

Exhausted, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

However, her memories here aren't any good. She had many bad and terrible memories connected to the academy that she soon had a nightmare and woke up.

Her sweat drenching her forehead.

"Hey, you fine? You were actually mumbling something in your sleep." Hailey said, as she opened the lid of the water bottle and gave it to Brina.

Brina thanked her and gulped down the water.

"As I said, I have bad memories connected to the Academy" Brina said, as she leaned against the headboard and looked upwards.

"Can I ask what those bad memories are?" Hailey asked.

"Do you remember what I said? That I have got deceived by the people whom I have trusted a lot?" Brina asked, for which Hailey nodded her head.

That was the very reason Brina took more time to trust in Luke and herself.

"I met those people here. We all were friends and I used to trust them a lot, however, they helped my enemies and tried to kill me" Brina told.

"So, you met Nickolas here?" Charlotte asked, as she is still not aware that Noah is Nickolas.

"Nope. I knew him from before. However, he tried to get close to me here. This is where he proposed to me" Brina told Hailey.

"So, you accepted it?" Hailey asked.

"I was a fool." Brina bitterly laughed.

"Hey! You weren't a fool. He just tricked you, that's it. However, Brina, don't dwell on the past! You have got Louis now" Hailey said.

"I forgot about the betrayals, Hailey. But, coming back to here, I just remember all of them. This is the place that's indirectly caused my family's death. I made my enemies while I was here" Brina said.
