Two days before the engagement party.

The whole palace was beautifully lit up with lights and was decorated really. The garden and the orchard in the palace are decorated no less too.

On the whole, the palace was brimmed with a celebratory environment. Meanwhile, the Royal guards and people appointed by Louis are doing the best of their work.

Everything is highly secured and the guests invited are also very limited. They are loyal and close ones of both Brina and Louis.

Brina's maternal family, Harry's family, Remus's family, The Royal family of Kingdom Sophene (Princess Penelope's family), Louie's friends from the US, Hailey, and Luke.

Along with them, the Noble families of Kingdom Alerts were invited too. However, not the branch families but only the main families which have proven their loyalty in these few days.

Even Olivia's step-uncle proved himself that he isn't like his brother who could betray his own kingdom for power.

Although the engagement party was grand and splendid, only limited people were invited. However, even people are important as well. So, Louis arranged some other celebrations and events for them to enjoy.

He was even generous enough to do the same for other branches of Noble families.

"Sister in law, you look awesome in this. My brother will fall for you again and again" Eliina chuckled when she saw Brina who emerged from the dressing room.

They are in the designer's area, checking out the hand-stitched dresses prepared specially for Brina.

Every dress is grand and perfect for her. All she had to do was select the engagement dress.

"You look very sexy too. I vote for this" Charlotte said, winking at her.

"Yep, I go with Elle and Charlotte," Katherine said.

Meanwhile, Brina checked herself in an overly huge mirror. Turning herself from different angles, she looked at herself, admiring the dress.

"Let's proceed with this," Brina said and the designer smiled in relief. She was appointed as Brina's personal designer a few days back.

After that, they proceeded with the jewelry and other accessories.

Meanwhile….

Louis is already done with his preparations and he is busy in his own work. However, he missed his baby girl dearly.

Both of them were busy these days and they barely got time to spend. At night, one or another would feel exhausted and sleep very early.

"You just have three days and Brina will be coming with us" Harry teased.

However, Louis didn't cave in.

"After twenty days, she will officially be mine. I will have her beside me twenty four hours" Louis chuckled. His eyes darkened as he thought about the days coming after these twenty days.

He is determined to exhaust her and not show any mercy. She has been teasing him a lot these days.

Soon, the engagement day came.

She momentarily moved to another suite and Katherine, Charlotte, Rhianna and Natalie were staying with her.

The golden sun rays shone through the glass windows and adorned her beautiful, flawless face, complimenting her facial contours. Brina woke up with a bright mood which is akin to the warmth of the morning rays.

The first thing she noticed is the gift of her bedside table. It is a red velvet box in rectangular shape. On it was a white card with a heart printed on it.

Brina chuckled. She sighed in a morning laziness and slightly stretched her arms before reaching for the box.

'What could this be?' she thought as she opened the card on it.

Brina chuckled and opened the velvet box.

She soon gasped. It's a crown.

As far as she remembers, this is one of the precious heirlooms of the Royal family. Only the current Queen would get to wear this type of heirlooms to any celebrations like this.

To be accurate, it is a gesture that shows the power she holds as Queen. It means, if she wears it today, it will indirectly symbolise that she has already become queen… unofficially.

It is very generous of the Queen Elora. She is willing to pass her Queenship without any melodramas included in the process.

After all she is step mother of Louis. She truly loves him a lot.

Meanwhile, Katherine and Charlotte knock on the door only to look at dazed Brina who is sitting on bed still in her night robe.

And, when they saw the crown on her hand, they froze too. They wouldn't have been this shocked if Queen Elora had passed it on marriage day.

But, engagement day?

It might be because she wanted to let everyone know that Brina will be the person who will be reigning the power from now.

Meanwhile, Eliina came inside.

She was the one who placed it there. Her brothers and parents asked her to do so.

"Sister in law, mom and dad wants you to wear it today. They will be delighted" she said as she approached Brina.

"Moreover, you have all the rights in it," she added.

Brina smiled. Grateful for their support…

"I will," she said, smiling at them.

After a few hours…

Engagement party is nothing but a 'simple' party thrown by the Royal family to officially announce the date of the marriage.

Along with it, it has to be an event where the noble family of the girl has to pledge their loyalty to the Royal family. However, in Brina's situation it's different.

But as its culture they must follow the process of the engagement ceremony where they toast for the beginning of the new relationship of the couple.

Now, Brina is sitting in front of the mirror. Dressed up in a Royal Blue, off shoulder gown, she allowed the designers To Help her to get ready.

Royal blue is her Kingdom's official color. As she couldn't have her family attend the party, she deleted the color that at least symbolised her Kingdom.

Coupled with her dress, she wore a rare blue diamond necklace and studs. Even her crown and bracelet has that rare diamond which would have cost billions.

However, Brina felt touched.

Everyone is considerate enough that they even thought of how she might feel. As the engagement party has to be hosted by the bride and she actually couldn't go back to her Kingdom, this 'blue theme' engagement party made her feel like she was in her own kingdom.

Meanwhile, it's been more than a day Louis got to see Brina. He was dying to meet her, see her and kiss her senseless, however, he knew he couldn't.

And, it was almost like a dream to him. Brina would be his official fiancée in a few hours.

He simply couldn't believe that it happened a lot easier than what he predicted.
